Then there are the souvenirs -- probably anything you can think of, from toys and knickknacks to t-shirts and cookie jars, pocket knives, and on and on and on. Go in alone, and you're coming out with at least a couple of things to eat; go in with kids, and you're coming out with lots of things to eat and at least one souvenir per kiddo. And why not? This is a place to have fun, to get some food and rest before heading back onto the road, and to remember for a long time to come. As others have said, the bathrooms need some updating, but the staff is friendly and helpful, and there's something special about getting to spend some time in a nostalgic place like this.
