I've been coming to Charlie Brown Farms since I was a kid, and it's honestly nice to see that it…read morehas stuck around for so long. I really like that the store has such a wide variety of merchandise, treats, and food. They carry everything from local honey and candy to turkey burgers and more unusual meats like alligator, venison, elk, and frog legs if you're brave enough to try them. They also have a lot of nostalgic items that you may recognize from childhood, which makes it a bittersweet but fun place to walk through. It's definitely a great spot if you want to take a little trip down memory lane. I usually like to stop by to buy candy or order some garlic fries. There's so much to look at that you could easily spend over an hour browsing while waiting for your food. Charlie Brown Farms remains one of those unique places that is part store, part restaurant, and part roadside attraction. It's quirky, nostalgic, and fun to visit.

Our absolute favorite stop on road trips along Pearblossom Highway -- Charlie Brown Farms is one of…read morethose places you don't expect and end up loving every single time. First of all... it's truly in the middle of nowhere, which somehow makes it even better. You pull up not knowing what to expect, and then suddenly it's everything. They have all the road trip essentials and then some -- homemade fudge, jams, salsa, fresh honey, and an impressive selection of jerky (alligator, elk, ostrich... you name it). There's also endless candy, nostalgic sodas, funnel cake, and Dole soft serve in just about every flavor you could want. But what really stands out is the selection of nostalgic toys, collector's items, and rare finds -- it's honestly mind-blowing. You can spend a lot of time just browsing and still not see everything. I always leave with more than I planned (in the best way), and it's become a must-stop every time we're passing through. And the date shake? Easily one of the best I've ever had. Inside, there's a café if you're in the mood for BBQ, plus a whole section of vintage toys and random collector finds that you didn't know you needed until you see them. It's the kind of place where you always leave with more than you planned -- in the best way. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful, which just adds to the charm. This place never disappoints -- it's become a must-stop every time we're passing through.

Coffee lovers, this one's for you!…read more I've officially made it to both Trio Coffee House locations, and they've been consistently amazing every time. Today's order: a Spanish Latte + Banana Matcha, and they were absolutely incredible. Fast service, even with a packed café, cozy vibes, and drinks that actually live up to the hype. This is your sign to treat yourself. 10/10. Already thinking about my next visit.

My sister-in-law had a pretty disappointing experience at this location today. In a community like…read morethe Antelope Valley, local support really matters, so it's always surprising when a business doesn't seem to value the people who keep it running. Apparently taking a moment to decide what you'd like to order is considered an inconvenience here. The cashier made a gesture implying she needed to hurry up, which felt unnecessarily dismissive especially when someone is simply trying to decide how they'd like to spend their hard-earned money. It's a shame, because local businesses thrive on positive interactions with their customers. Experiences like this make it much easier to understand why so many other coffee spots are opening throughout the AV and gaining loyal support. Needless to say, my family and I will be taking our coffee runs elsewhere moving forward. There are plenty of places in the AV that manage to serve great coffee and treat their customers with courtesy. San Fernando Coffee Co. OVER Trio Coffee House any day of the week.

Absolutely deserving 5 star!…read more Grey and cold Tuesday afternoon so we decided to go in an get some hot ramen to warm up. And did we get lucky: tasty and fresh food, very good service and great prices. Our server brought our starter (spicy edamame) quite quickly and asked if we needed anything else besides the chopsticks provided (really nice touch, but we can handle them). Tonkotsu Miso and Spicy Chicken were our mains: truly tasty, deep well-developed flavors (make sure to add some extra toppings and ask for spicy paste). Thai thee's were great as well, not too much sugar but if you have a real sweet tooth, just ask for it! We will be back!

I ordered a spicy ramen bowl, and it was okay. It wasn't bad, but it was missing some of the flavor I was hoping for. I ended up adding soy sauce to give it a little more depth. I'd give the ramen itself a 3/5. The spicy garlic edamame was unfortunately not what I expected. It tasted oddly sweet and didn't have the salty, tangy, spicy flavor that I usually love in edamame. That one was a 1/5 for me. Maybe I just prefer the ramen spots in Little Tokyo, because this place wasn't really doing it for me, even though I truly love ramen. On the positive side, the staff were nice and the restaurant itself is small but well kept. It wasn't terrible food, but it also wasn't a place I'd rush back to.

Everyone we bring her loves it. The place is small and always packed, but it moves pretty quickly. I love their long list of tea selections. I have tried a few, but my absolute favorite is the Icy Thai Chai. I get it with oat milk because I don't drink dairy and it is the bomb.com. I even get a second one to go after we are done eating. My favorite food to order is the jackfruit street tacos. They are small so we usually get something else and share both things with my boyfriend. Love the local artist art gallery as well. It took about 30 minutes for someone to take our order, and our food didn't arrive until 11:20 AM. What made it more frustrating was that a group of six who were seated at the same time as us received their food much earlier and were already finished eating before we even got ours. During the wait, I also ordered a coffee that never came -- it seemed like it was simply forgotten. I understand Sundays can be busy, but the long wait and lack of attention really took away from the experience. Hoping this was just an off day.

Sometimes on quiet days in town there is a wait because the cashier is also responsible for preparing the food/drinks, but it's always reasonable. The prices are very fair, they do not hit you with the "mountain tax" at all. The drip coffee is tasty and the espresso is good as well! I haven't had the pastries yet but they look good, especially the donuts, and I'm excited to come back and taste them. Today I had the breakfast burrito, the cashier was very helpful and accommodating of some recent dietary restrictions I have developed, and she made me a great burrito! I swapped out the bacon for avocado (not normal for me, but like I said, dietary restrictions) and it was just as good as with bacon! My burrito has avocado, eggs, hash browns and tomatoes, and it was exactly what I needed. Good to note that the only bread option is sourdough, however, it is very tasty homemade and fresh sourdough, which is quite the treat. Unfortunately, not for me today, but I have enjoyed it in the past. I usually get to go and drive up the hill to picnic with a view, but I'm looking forward to eating in one day. That atmosphere is very cozy and calm, both the inside and the patio are nice. Speaking of atmosphere, I was happy to see many pride and pro LGBTQ flags in the restaurant, helping foster a welcoming environment for all. TLDR - 1. Good food , good coffee , very fair prices. Mostly serving sandwiches, pastries, coffee. 2. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere and staff. 3. Big wine selection. 4. Cozy interior or nice patio for Al fresco dining.
