When in St. Augustine, Crave is the rave. This food truck is larger than a few restaurants with storefronts. They specialize in wraps, salads and smoothies. Healthy and fresh flavors smack you right across the face. Surprisingly, I wasn't all that hungry during this impromptu lunch meet up, so I can only speak for the Nectar Of The Gods smoothie. It was pretty dang tasty if you ask me. Mangoes, pineapple, orange and almond milk hit the spot. On a warm afternoon, I guzzled this bad boy down rather quickly. If you're looking for a healthy and tasty lunch in the downtown St Augustine area, look no further than Crave! On my recent visit to St Augustine I discovered this great lunch spot down the road from the Lightner Museum, about a ten minute walk or you could easily drive as they have parking in the back. On the menu they have fabulous wraps, salads, bowls, and smoothies. The Thai Chicken Wrap was absolutely delicious, and I also tried the Good Karma Wrap which was a very tasty option for those that are plant-based. The hummus in the Good Karma Wrap tasted very homemade and fresh. The wraps are served with tortilla chips and it was a great value for the price. I also ordered the Funky Monkey Smoothie to enjoy after I finished my wrap, and it was very flavorful. I wish the smoothie were a bit more frozen, but maybe that's because it was so hot outside. Crave definitely lives up to the name of providing a friendly spot for good food that is fresh and healthy! Everyone in my party enjoyed lunch, even those who don't usually gravitate towards healthy eating, which I think is a testament to Crave's excellent menu options and service. Excellent!! We love this place. We're from Ormond Beach and we were in town doing the tourist thing. We stumbled across this sweet little restaurant that offeres a great selection for vegans. They do offer non vegan items as well. But, we are vegans and have now been back to Crave twice. We know its our go to place for a meal when we visit the area. The Service is fantastic. Healthy and fresh, this delicious spot will make you want to never leave St. Augustine! Parked right next to the water and a stone's throw away from the distillery, it makes sense that the place would be packed from the moment they open to the minute they close. While it took a little long for the food to come out, it was well worth it. We got a salad and a wrap and neither of us could finish our plates! They don't skimp on portions, so plan ahead because you might have to figure out what to do with those leftovers (of course you could always just eat as you walk since its that delicious). The juice of the day was watermelon and it was perfect for a hot day. They know their menu, so trust their recommendations. They have add-ons like grilled chicken for their salad (which I recommend), if you feel like you need to make it more hearty. What an awesome surprise! My boss took us to a holiday girls lunch out, and the food was awesome. I had no idea this little gem existed, but low and behold I have been introduced to a fresh and healthy spot with top notch views of the intracoastal. I built my own wrap with grilled chicken, fresh kale (available if in-season), garbanzo beans, black beans, sun dried tomatoes and balsamic vinaigrette. A hidden gem is the best way to descibe this food truck for me. Everytime I am in St. Augustine since I moved to Jax, I stop here (if they are open lol) They are closed on Sundays which is when I am usually in town. It's right on the water and has a beautiful view. One of the things I love is their food is FRESH! They buy from the local farmers market or grow it themselves. All of their salads and wraps are made of fresh vegetables of all varieties. They do have a lot of toppings on their selection board but I usually go to my go favorite wrap the Twisted Tuna which has almonds, balsamic vinaigrette, tuna, spinach, and a few others. I love it! I found this place through yelp and then started to follow them through instagram before we arrived on our trip. I went here today for my online pickup. It was super easy to do and I loved the layout inside-very easy to navigate. I followed the signs for the pickup window down the hallway to the left. I rang the bell and was immediately brought out my wrap. There is a parking lot in the back that I was not aware of, which is a nice feature because parking can be tricky. My Sunny day wrap when I got it back was delicious. The only modification that I did to it was I added shrimp. I look forward to having the other half for dinner. She was blown away by the food as was everyone else in our group. My chicken and my husbands shrimps were well seasoned but their texture felt like they were old, dry and tough. The vegetables were fresh but we didn't care for their dressings. The place was clean, including the bathrooms. However, the lock in one of them didn't work; was walked on and my husband walked in on some other lady, so embarrassing.
