It is very hidden right next to a golf course that we accidentally passed by it at first. I got The Dirty Burger and the flavors were fantastic. The side I ordered was the Rice-A-Roni salad and it was very good. The burger definitely stole the show with that bacon jam. The owner was amazing, super kind and super welcoming. He even offered us free banana bread straight from out the oven. Some of the kindest and most welcoming customer service I have faced in a while. The hype is real! These burgers are amazing and definitely worth trying and crossing off your bucket list. However, the revolving sides menu is weird and can be frustrating. The place is basic on the interior and lowkey a hole in the wall which is surprising for a golf course eatery but that doesn't take away from the flavor. The burger is definitely crack. My friends and I all agreed that it was a great burger. However we are not sure we will be back because of the hours, the okay amount of parking in the lot, the limited and revolving menu and the lackluster interior. They still get a 4 star because this would be a uber eats type of restaurant because the food is great and if you don't have to step foot in there, then it would be a 5 start. Service was okay. Checked out this place on a whim while in Long Beach, and it did not disappoint. These burgers are so well put together, it's no wonder they have a small menu. Our servers were nice and friendly and even gave us a free sample of the apple pie baked beans, which I did not know was even a thing. However it's the burgers that are the star here. We split a dirty and a Ortega which were both so good I almost considered buying another one! The dirty was my overall favorite being perfectly seasoned with a nice crust on the patty, while the Ortega had a slightly sweet hint to it with its grilled hatch chile on top of it. We will definitely be coming back when we visit Long Beach. Pricing is a little expensive but I think the quality of the burgers completely makes it worth it! read more

A hidden secret in Long Beach! It's located At Bixby village golf course. If you aren't looking super closely you might miss it! Parking was pretty easy. There is no takeout so be prepared to sit down. The owner greeted us and took our order right away and gave some suggestions on what to try. It was our friends second time and our first time coming here with her hubby. Me and my friend ordered the Bacon Jam burger and our hubbies ordered the Ortega burger. Each burger cost $14. I ordered the pineapple slaw( excellent side dish ) and everyone else for chips for their sides( I'm not sure how much the sides were). The sides change at time and they will let you know what is new. We also ordered Sauvignon Blanc to drink and my hubby got a blonde beer on tap. As we were sitting waiting for our food we were persuaded to get some buffalo wings lol so we got the Asian and Buffalo and were even given a sample of white chicken chili. The burgers are made fresh and so there was a bit of a wait but everything was delicious. The bacon jam was the perfect amount of sweet and the hubby thought the Ortega burger was delicious although he would have liked it to be a bit more spicy and a little less sweet. I've been wanting to try this burger place for a while after hearing good things about it online. It's located at the golf course and it was easy to find with plenty of parking. The menu was small and I thought it was weird they didn't offer French fries. I decided to order the bacon jam burger as it seems like the most popular burger from the menu. I've had bacon jam on regular burgers but never on a smash burger so that was new to me. Let's get to the good stuff: burger had fresh ingredients, meat was seasoned well but I do wish the patties were smashed a bit thinner. I also could have gone with a bit less bacon jam as it almost overpowered the burger. I think for me, I like a traditional smash burger: patties smashed thinner than a piece of paper, grilled onions, american cheese and sauce. Oh yeah, gotta be on a martins potato to roll too. Laid back and "simple" establishment. Smells wonderful! I could smell the burgers from the 3rd hole. When driving into the parking lot there is a sign stating best bacon jam burger. Hence that was my choice of burger. They are all smash burgers with different toppings. The bacon jam burger was delicious and was very filling and perfect jam to bun to meat ratio. They have different sides dependent on the week or day so they state on the monitor when you come in to ask about the sides available. Very humble and simple service.
