The food was really mediocre, our chicken fried chicken really wasn't good, the temp was warm and the gravy on top saturday there long enough to skim over and make the breading under soggy. The brine permeated the meat and gave it a pithy texture. Neither of us ate half our meal. My steamed veggies were a soggy mess yet the baby carrots were closer to raw. I have been to this Cotton Patch twice now they do a good job with the food. I have had the chicken fried steak which is very large and pretty good. Sometimes they have too much breading but over all it is a good chicken fry. The okra is good if you get it hot but that is everywhere. Not a fan of the mashed potatoes they are thick not for me. The green beans are very good. The service is okay not the best but I have had worse. We had to wait to be seated both time we have been there. They had a little crowd which is fine but the host seemed a little lost. And not very friendly. The waiter was very nice and friendly. We had him before at another Cotton Patch. He did leave us for a while a little too long before we saw him again. My water ran out. And we did not get rolls or cornbread. We had to ask the manager for some. There is not a Cotton Patch in my area so I do not go there much. And if I had to pick I would go to Babes. A much better chicken fry and all the sides are wonderful at Babes. read more

We've been eating here for years and have been getting takeout via the app weekly for the past several weeks. Every time the order has been right and I love that you can specify a time when you order. We put in our order on our way to the gym, give a pick up time about 1.5 hours out, then go work out and pick up a hot fresh dinner on the way home. You can save favorite orders too which saves time. Tonight our first time trying cotton patch. We just tried Cheddars last week. We were craving some chicken fried steak lately. For whatever reason it took an hour to get here and they are a little over a mile away. Oh ya, we did delivery. The chicken fried steak and green beans were great. Cotton Patch is a great location for some good old fashion home cooked favorites. I hadn't been to this location in years. We had a super sweet waitress, Tatum. She definitely made us laugh! My husband and I each had the chicken fried chicken. I had okra and the mashed potatoes. The cream gravy is super yummy! And well you definitely can't beat the rolls. They were fresh out of the oven and big and fluffy. They also give you fresh butter. We ended up ordering the Dr Pepper cake for dessert and wow, this way surpassed my expectations. Food came with no silverware - we are staying at a hotel so this is an issue. All the condiments we requests ketchup , salsa, hot sauce , butter, salt pepper - not was provided . Called moments after the delivery - Steak was over cooked Quesadilla - salad with no dressing and a side of chopped tomatoes ? Fried tomatoes, onion rings , steak fingers - all cold. Over a hour from order to deliver When I called in - great news was they offered a refund and credit for the future - but then I was put on hold for more than 30 minutes until they hung up the phone line. The dumpling soup - fail. I got a bowl and cup - the bowl had very little chicken and not many dumplings - it's not like that cost much to add dumplings . The wait staff was phenomenal. When we got there they were definitely understaffed, which seems to be the norm these days. The managers, however, were not inside helping with the busy dining room, they were outside hanging up advertisement signs. This is completely unprofessional and shows that they truly do not care about the welfare/wellbeing of their staff. Had the most bizarre dinner here that I won't soon forget. My daughter and I will be creeped out for a long time. I took my daughter to the bathroom and a little girl followed us in there. She was at a table by herself without an adult. I'm guessing her parent works there but no one was able to keep an eye on her because the staff seemed overwhelmed. (I do sympathize with a parent needing to work and not having proper childcare but this was very uncomfortable.) The girl proceeded to hug my daughter as soon as she left the stall and grabbed her wrists to "show her" how to wash her hands. I repeated to please let her go and she wouldn't. We finally got out of there and back to our table to share this bizarre event. Then, the older girls went to the bathroom. And again, this girl follows them in there. Asking them all kinds of questions. Grabs one of my girls again. Turns off the lights on the girls too. Isn't this what horror movies are made of?! Super creepy. Anytime anyone from our table went to the bathroom she kept following them and doing the same thing over and over. I don't know what to think. It was all so strange and very unpleasant. Management....PLEASE, if this is your child or if you know the child I'm speaking about, please remind them to not follow strangers into bathrooms and start grabbing people you don't know. Had a very good experience here this evening with Jen as our waitress. She was very nice and was very accommodating to my two kids. Still went above and beyond when I had a free kids meal coupon which some waitstaff will start turning things down a notch with coupons. Price was right for food, even without the savings with the kids meals were priced really well. Portions were good as well for the price, I got the veggie plate & had enough to share with my one year old. What holds me back from a full 5 stars is while the hostess was nice she sat us at a tall booth. I was on my own with an 8 year old & a 1 year old. So my best guess is that the hostess is young & she doesn't have much experience with younger kids that she didn't offer us a booster or high chair so I waited till our waitress came. Jen came with our drinks I asked & she said the high chairs are not tall enough for those booths & offered a booster. Horrible customer service. I called twice and was placed in hole. Upon arriving at the location while STILL ON HOLD - everyone was disorganized. There were take out order customers waiting in frustration. Also, no one in the phone when I arrived - So, why was I still on hold? After placing my order and informing staff that I was still on hold, no one seemed to care. Another employee approached me and told me what I ordered was not available without even asking me what I ordered. After speaking with the manager and expressing lack of leadership and discombobulation, I left. The sad part, I called another location and they told me I could try that exact location. This is our go-to place when we come to town to visit our granddaughters. One loves the lemon herb grilled salmon; the other loves their macaroni & cheese. Just left this place. A bunch of kids work here and they take nothing serious. I found a hair in my corn and told the server Graham, and he took my food to the back proceeding to look. He then swiped my card to cash out my check and came back and said that the manager said he would take $13 off and it would take 2-3 days to go back on my card.
