Lemon basil chicken salad on croissant with fruit and pickle
Lorri C.

I love chicken salad and this is a great place to try different types of chicken salad. My chicken salad was great. However 3 stars for the tomatoes-one tomato was the top of a tomato and the tomato on the other half had the hard core in it. It was hard and not edible. The croissant was tasty but clearly had fallen apart and instead of giving me a fresh one, they pieced it together. My daughter's croissant had a hair in it- she was almost done - I did ask for more tomato and was given 2 fresh slices. The sandwiches were brought to table very quickly. The booth chairs were filthy and needed to be cleaned. Overall I would give it another try but I am skeptical.

Went to chicken salad chick for the first time. It was lunch and steady inside but didn't have to wait much. It's very nice inside for a counter service. Lots of seating. I love they have normal soft drinks and fresh brewed tea. I got the main combo which includes one scoop of chicken salad, one side and then added a drink. It even came with a delicious sugar cookie! Because I hadn't been they let me sample a few flavors which was so nice! The workers were very sweet and helpful! I am totally going back to try more! So yummy!

Cute place for a cool and refreshing chicken salad. The chicken salad was delicious and even though it doesn't look like much it filled our tiny bellies. The atmosphere was darling. My only issue was they charged me for a croissant that we didn't order because we eat keto so we know we didn't order it. Either way we did taste it because we paid for it- it was cold and dry- I really feel they missed the mark on the croissant as it should be served warm.

Only 2nd time here and very pleased with the service I have received here so far. I was very pleasantly greeted by Emilee at the cash register who is always so great at helping me decide what I want. There are so many flavors to choose from but this time I ended up going with the classic chicken salad. Although, there was something wrong with my salad, the manager, Michael made sure the issue was fixed immediately and that I was completely satisfied with my order. Not only do they deliver excellent service, the food is quite tasty and refreshing on a hot summer day in Texas. There are plenty of yummy beverages to choose from as well. This place does get packed for their lunch rush so either take advantage of their togo system or get there early!

We were able to get tickets for today's Friends and Family event before they are open to the public and I'm so glad we did!! I have loved Chicken Salad Chick since I discovered it a few years ago but we rarely ate here because it meant a bit of a drive would be required. I am thrilled that they opened in Southlake! I have been keeping tabs on it, awaiting their opening! Today we were each offered a meal of our choice and any donations collected will go to Metroplex Meals on Wheels. I love that! I ordered "The Chick" with a scoop of their Dill-icious Diva with their grape salad as a side and a scoop of pimento cheese, making it a trio. Sorry for the photo - I forgot to take it until I was halfway through! The dill in the first salad was more pronounced than when I have ordered it in the past and there we large chunks of cucumber throughout - it was even better than in the past! The grape salad is so sweet and delicious and the pimento cheese has thickly grated cheese than I have seen elsewhere but I loved it!! My fiancé ordered the Classic Carol on a croissant with mac and cheese, then added the tortilla soup to make it a trio as well. The mac and cheese is thick and cheesy so if you like that, definitely order it - we love it!! The tortilla soup had a slightly spicy and very flavorful soup - I will definitely order that in the future! Please check CSC in Southlake out and let's make them their most successful location yet!

Meh, just ok. I don't have anything real bad to say, but nothing great either. I ordered the Classic Carol on a Croissant and a side of Macaroni & Cheese. It was all middle of the road. Our service at the counter was decent, but once again, nothing more than adequate. The ambiance is classic southern tea room style. That is what Chicken Salad Chick has done is found a way to franchise the average and mundane and get people excited over it.

My husband and I came to the new Southlake locations Chicken salad Chick for their grand opening. We are already fans of Chicken salad chick and used to eat at their Hurst location frequently until they started serving bad fruit constantly so unfortunately we stopped going but we really like the chicken salad so we were thrilled to see a new location. I'm not sure if its the same owner or not but I'm hopeful that this location will be more interested in maintain fresh food. My "go to" chicken salad flavors are the Kickin Kay Lynn and the Dill-cious Dill. I like to go with a chicks meal but the crossest sandwich is bery good and so is their salads. I like to add an extra scoop of chicken salad to my order and its enough food for me. Im sure many people would be full with one scoop but with the chicks meal its just a single scoop of CS and some crackers so I like to make my side a second scoop. If you get the sandwich or salad its plenty of food and you dont need a second scoop, just for when you order the chicks meal. This location is easy to get to, its in the side lot to a mega church so PLENTY of parking.

Kickin' Kay Lynne. Comes with a side, pickle, crackers and cookie.

She led me back to the table with my friends and created some small talk on the way, so that was a nice change of pace, considering many people just point you on your way. We were seated near the back which seemed to be somewhat like an open kitchen feel, which I actually thought was pretty cool. Our waitress was very fast and helpful with picking out our foods based on our likes. Once the food came out, everyone seemed to really enjoy their meals, including myself. We started the table off with the biscuits and fried green tomatoes (demolished!). I kept it simple with the chicken and waffles (delicioius and crispy), which was a HUGE helping (yum!). Others at my table enjoyed the the shrimp and grits and WB chicken sandwich. No complaints heard from them! Overall, I really enjoyed the ambiance, the food, the service, and the experience I had for my first time there. Would come back again for dinner to see if there is a difference.

I'm glad I checked it out because it was easily one of the best fried chicken experiences I've had, especially for the value. The price was fair, and the portions were gigantic. I got the biscuits and gravy along with the fried chicken entrée, which came with four pieces of chicken, gravy (again!), and sides. Everything was very satisfying. The folks working there were also very friendly. They reminded me of the humble, hard-working people I grew up around back in the day. There's a nostalgic, feels-like-home kind of vibe here that made the meal even better. I was more than satisfied with both the food and the service. Highly recommended. As a side note, because the portion was huge, I asked for a to-go box. For some reason, they didn't have to-go boxes at the time and gave me a small plastic bag instead. I'm not sure if that was a one-time thing or some kind of no "to-go" policy, but it didn't affect the overall experience.

All smiles and eager to help, my kind of customer service! We were seated shortly after arrival, with no reservation, so that was nice! We dined in for Sunday brunch, nice sized crowd & the football games were on the TVs. Our server, Kevin, was so sweet and attentive. For the table: Fried catfish - amazing! Not too greasy, cooked perfectly and battered/seasoned well. Kevin confirmed that the fish is cooked in separate oil, win for me when I'm eating pescatarian. Waffle - delicious! Personally, I don't like my waffles crunchy so happy to report theirs were soft and fluffy! They add cinnamon to their batter which is a nice touch. Grits - both the cheese and regular were enjoyed! Cornbread - solid! A nice helping of butter served on top. Margarita - also solid! My only "pain point" would be that the building could use an update inside but clean nonetheless.

Super busy, inside the door was being held open since there was just people coming in and out. Had to get on a waitlist and that took an 45 to an hour to be seated. Once seated, the server wasn't anywhere to be found until 15 minutes after. I'm sure it was extremely backed up. But then the order didn't come after an hour. At that time, I didn't feel as hungry anymore so maybe I'll come back on a slower day. The food was decent but the sides were all pretty sodium loaded and the chicken was pretty greasy. The ambiance was and the hostesses were helpful. I would recommend to go on a slower day at least once if you haven't tried this place. Everything costs $60+, In my opinion the dishes are a bit overpriced. If you're watching out for your calories with this one then just forget it!

I read…read moreother Yelp* review of Juicy's, and was dying to try it, so I checked their hours and headed over around 2PM in the afternoon. When I arrived, there were no cars in the parking lot and it looked closed. I went up to the front door to see if there was a note but all that was posted there were their normal hours. Based on that, they were supposed to be open. Not a good start. I posted about this on Facebook, saying it looked like they were closed for good. A friend of ours replied the next day that she had moved down the street from Juicy's and she saw the restaurant open for business that day. I headed over again and they were open. Soul Food, Comfort Food, Home Cooking, whatever you want to call it, that's what they're serving at Juicy's with a large side of FRIENDLINESS. I grew up in south Texas, so a bowl of pinto beans with a piece of cornbread is a meal I love to this day. However, I was craving chicken, so I ordered the chicken plate (you can specify 4 wings) with mashed potatoes w/brown gravy and pinto beans (of course). Have you noticed that most dining out today is underwhelming? It seems to me the restaurants are using cheaper ingredients. Everything tastes bland. BUT NOT AT JUICY'S! The meal hit the spot for me. The wings are "whole wings," meaning there are no "drums" and "flats." Each wing at Juicy's is BOTH PARTS. It's the whole wing! I was full after just three but Bonnie grabbed the last one to "keep it from going to waste." (I think she was keeping it from going to MY waist...) The beans reminded me of my mom's pinto beans. The brown gravy on the potatoes reminded me of my grandmother's gravy at Thanksgiving. The cornbread was almost like cake. Even the music was great, featuring R&B and blues. We found ourselves humming along to the music as we feasted on the food. We're definitely going back.

Don't sleep on the sides as those greens and yams are all seasoned great so I know somebody at least in their late 40's back there with some blessed hands. With this being my second trip in 2 days there's no doubt I will be returning fairly often to try the other dishes. What a great find PS Don't forget to get some Kooliad.

If you have an XY chromosome, this is your place. 1 Star. Service - Rowdy Cowboy is known for having great servers who are very friendly (and nice to look at). The shoestring fries were awesome and made the perfect pairing to the steak. I ordered the Brisket Sliders but ended up with Wagyu Sliders.
