Honestly, I was challenged by all of the offerings. What I ended up getting was pretty good. I wouldn't say it was amazing and it won't be the sole reason why I come back. However 3 stars for the tomatoes-one tomato was the top of a tomato and the tomato on the other half had the hard core in it. It was hard and not edible. The croissant was tasty but clearly had fallen apart and instead of giving me a fresh one, they pieced it together. My daughter's croissant had a hair in it- she was almost done - I did ask for more tomato and was given 2 fresh slices. The sandwiches were brought to table very quickly. The booth chairs were filthy and needed to be cleaned. Overall I would give it another try but I am skeptical. read more

Only 2nd time here and very pleased with the service I have received here so far. I was very pleasantly greeted by Emilee at the cash register who is always so great at helping me decide what I want. There are so many flavors to choose from but this time I ended up going with the classic chicken salad. Although, there was something wrong with my salad, the manager, Michael made sure the issue was fixed immediately and that I was completely satisfied with my order. Not only do they deliver excellent service, the food is quite tasty and refreshing on a hot summer day in Texas. There are plenty of yummy beverages to choose from as well. We were able to get tickets for today's Friends and Family event before they are open to the public and I'm so glad we did!! Sorry for the photo - I forgot to take it until I was halfway through! The dill in the first salad was more pronounced than when I have ordered it in the past and there we large chunks of cucumber throughout - it was even better than in the past! The grape salad is so sweet and delicious and the pimento cheese has thickly grated cheese than I have seen elsewhere but I loved it!! My fiancé ordered the Classic Carol on a croissant with mac and cheese, then added the tortilla soup to make it a trio as well. The mac and cheese is thick and cheesy so if you like that, definitely order it - we love it!! The tortilla soup had a slightly spicy and very flavorful soup - I will definitely order that in the future! We are already fans of Chicken salad chick and used to eat at their Hurst location frequently until they started serving bad fruit constantly so unfortunately we stopped going but we really like the chicken salad so we were thrilled to see a new location. I'm not sure if its the same owner or not but I'm hopeful that this location will be more interested in maintain fresh food. My "go to" chicken salad flavors are the Kickin Kay Lynn and the Dill-cious Dill. I like to go with a chicks meal but the crossest sandwich is bery good and so is their salads. I like to add an extra scoop of chicken salad to my order and its enough food for me. Im sure many people would be full with one scoop but with the chicks meal its just a single scoop of CS and some crackers so I like to make my side a second scoop. If you get the sandwich or salad its plenty of food and you dont need a second scoop, just for when you order the chicks meal. This location is easy to get to, its in the side lot to a mega church so PLENTY of parking. read more

I had never eaten at CSC until they opened the one in Southlake. To start, this place is so cute and cozy and the customer service was excellent! Everyone was so nice and helpful! I ordered the Kickin Kay Lynne with fruit and it was delicious! It was the right amount of spice and flavor. I would definitely order it again, but now I want to try all their flavors. My mom ordered the Fancy Nancy on a sandwich and she said it was so good! We tried each others and both loved them. Hers came on a croissant, but I know they have other types of bread if you want! My mom also ordered the Loaded Potato soup which again, she said was fantastic. I'm mad I hadn't tried this place before and I'm already planning on coming back soon to try the other flavors. When someone leaves the staff rushes over to clean the tables and that makes for a nice atmosphere. I like the Fancy Nancy and the Classic Carol. This place is disgusting and dirty with trash on "clean" tables and messy office supplies/laptops on unoccupied tables. Does the manager not have an office?? They seem to have no respect for their customers or themselves. They served food with a large bone, or a tooth, in it--I had to spit the bite out of my mouth. I showed it to them on the napkin and the way they responded was unbelievable. They tried nothing at all to make it right, didn't even give back the coupon that I used. I asked if there's anything they could do, for the disgusting experience that they had caused. The manager on duty was a very young man who didn't seem to be taking things seriously. He offered a weak, fake, apology, and all of the staff ignored me for the rest of the time. He seemed surprised at even the thought of wanting to take care of the meal for serving a dangerous piece hidden in the food. Don't support this business that only cares about money. read more

I gave it only 4 stars because I must eat gluten-free, and the choices always leave me still hungry after having spent over $14. for a standard meal and drink; that's only 500 calories. The menu is a little frustrating, as it's not posted online. That makes it difficult to plan what to order. I know soup is on the board, but it's silly to say it's a daily soup without posting what it is. The menu is difficult enough without having to ask a lot of questions. Another thing- the Dr Pepper fountain drink is really Root Beer. My husband tried to bring it to someone's attention, and the girl laughed and said "haha, they just ship it that way." Nonsense. If no one pays attention to a detail like that, what else do they allow to slip? The business has a lot of potential, but they need to spend less attention to being "cute" for women, and more attention to the product and the value. This place is run by kids and it shows. My husband picked up a Chicken Salad BLT for me. When I opened it and took a bite, there was no bacon, lettuce, or tomato. He drove 10 minutes back to the store, and the staff tried to just hand him bacon, lettuce, and tomato rather than remaking the sandwich (which was toasted). He told them to remake it, and also that he had ordered "regular chips" which is on the menu. They said their "regular chips" are Baked Lays (which is a separate item on the menu.). When I opened those at home, I noticed they were all crushed, but worse there was a large slit in the bottom of the bag, and all the chips (crumbs) fell out. The chicken salad sandwich was obviously just thrown together, and wasn't great. Needs an adult overseeing things. 2nd bad experience. Done with this place. read more

A chicken salad chick location just opened up in the neighboring town of Southlake, I was able to give it a try last week and I am a big fan!! Their menu lets you try "scoops" of different types which was great because they have a lot of recipes. I tried the classic, one with cranberries and almonds, and one with buffalo sauce. Easy online ordering process. Service at the restaurant is very professional! Service with a smile and the employees help each other and always greets the customers! I arrived early and asked the cashier if they could prepare mine, if they could. I didn't expect anything but asked anyway it was the lunch rush. I may have waited 7 min and again, I'm early for my pick up time. A few minutes later, the manager came out and apologized and extended his appreciation for my patients. 2 min later I received my lunch, and still early. Every experience with this location has been beyond my expectations. Great service is a rarity so I truly appreciate the service, quality of the food, and also how clean this location is.
