My husband went around 8pm yesterday and sat outside and listened to the live music. we ordered a margarita and a blueberry mojito and the drinks were PHENOMENAL, so delicious. my Husband got chips & queso and it was good, I got the mean street nachos with birria beef and it was ok at best. The cheese on it was supposed to be liquid but you could tell it had been sitting for a while and the beef was really dry and had no flavor. I ate it cause I was starving and didn't wanna wait or cause any issues, I'll definitely go back and hopefully have better food. our server was nice but she didn't smile at all but she answered my questions about the mojito and gave suggestions which one I should get (she said blueberry was most popular) we were there for an hour and she popped up 4 times before we asked for the check. everything was great except the food, giving it a second chance

The restaurant is open and expansive but note it can get loud. My wife and I decided on the 3 course $40 dinner - great deal!. We both started with the wedge (full stripes candied bacon and onion rings!!) salad - this didnt look like any appetizer size! Our main was the salmon with grilled shrimp and our dessert was the cheesecake! Few places offer a 3 course meal of this quality and that combined with the top notch service from Midori promises we will return to Firebirds in Grapevine again

We had noticed…read moreFirebirds every time we were in the area, so we finally decided it was time to see what all the fuss was about. (Well... maybe luck had a little something to do with it. ) As soon as we walked through the doors, we were warmly greeted by Ms. Jenna, our hostess. She welcomed us with a beautiful smile, was very polite and kind, and escorted us to a booth in Ms. Destinee's section. While we were there, we also had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Corin, the General Manager. He was full of energy, very welcoming, and genuinely seemed excited to have us there. It didn't take long to notice that his positive attitude had rubbed off on his staff. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and worked together as a team. That speaks volumes about his leadership. Luckily for us, we had just missed the lunch rush, so we were seated immediately without any wait. The restaurant itself was very clean, well organized, and had a warm, inviting atmosphere. They also offer an outdoor dining area that was just as clean and well maintained as the inside. Ms. Destinee, our server, was wonderful. She was polite, welcoming, explained the menu, and gave us plenty of time to look everything over while bringing us glasses of water. To start, we ordered the Ranch Rings (onion rings) from the shareable menu for $13.75. They arrived hot, crispy, evenly battered, and perfectly seasoned. My only complaint was the cilantro, which just isn't my favorite. For our entrées, we all ordered from the "Perfect Pair" menu. My daughter chose the BLT sandwich with the Killer Mac & Cheese for $14.95. She absolutely loved it! The bread was nicely toasted, the sandwich was well seasoned, and the mac and cheese definitely lived up to its name. We also ordered the Salmon Club Sandwich with a Caesar salad for $14.95. The salmon was delicious, and the Caesar salad was fresh and flavorful. I went with the Crispy Chicken Sandwich paired with a cup of their Tortilla Chicken Soup for $14.95. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and seasoned just right. As for the soup... it was so good I honestly wished I had ordered another cup! Overall, this was an outstanding dining experience from beginning to end. Great food, excellent service, and an amazing atmosphere. Mr. Corin is doing an exceptional job, and his staff is a true reflection of his leadership. Without a doubt, I'll be coming back again. I hope to see y'all there!

Recently, I had lunch here, and they now have a new farm to table menu that really exceeded my expectations. The Ranch has reinvented itself many times, and now it's a restaurant I would visit for the food AND atmosphere. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - At its core, it's a bar with several indoor and outdoor dining areas with a country theme. The Ranch is so versatile that you can host a private event while people dine in the main area while others hang out at the bar. There's also a charming outdoor area that is nice if the weather is cool. Best of all - it's full of people and energy. 1 Star. Service - Our server was great. We explained the concept, went over the menu, and while a large table occupied his time, several of the staff were helpful. Everyone was dressed in Cowboy/Ranch gear. Texas Southern Hospitality is real. 1 Star. Food - My most recent visit was like visiting a new restaurant. The Ranch's menu has changed, and everything was new. I started with the pork belly appetizers, which was a great start to meal. The tender pork meat had a layer of sweet + salty belly that melts in your mouth. I went with the Barbacoa Grilled Cheese that was one of the best I've ever had. The barbacoa (shredded BBQ beef) was the star and was better than any brisket grilled cheese I've had. The sourdough was grilled with lots of butter, so after devouring the sandwich I had to wash my hands. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Absolutely. I had been to The Ranch so many times I considered a place to gather for Happy Hour. Not anymore. The new menu is incredible, and I can't wait to return. 1 Star.

This place gives Texas Chic vibes in a fun way. The hostess were very welcoming and helped us to our table shortly after we arrived. We decided to share a few dishes and really enjoyed them all. - The Meat and cheese board was a great assortment of items. While I didn't eat the meat, my friends really enjoyed the options. The cheese, fruit, nuts and spreads were all delicious. - The Margarita pizza had an interesting twist with the addition of pecans. I really enjoyed it however, I wished the tomatoes would have been consistently sliced as some were barely if at all sliced so you had to do a little more work to keep them in place. - The House salad was good and I enjoyed the vinaigrette it was served with. We also shared a bottle of the house white wine which we all really enjoyed. It wasn't clear from the wine menu that this was an option, but our waiter recommended it and even brought us a sample. The service of a waiter was a mixed bag. I'm not sure if it was the time of our reservation or what else may have been going on but we didn't find him to be as helpful without being prompted, at times made a feel a bit rushed and moved on from us quickly. It was the first time for at least two of us but he didn't ask this nor mention anything about the menu or concept to us. The one exception was with the wine recommendation. Overall we all enjoyed the food enough to want to return with hope for a better service experience.

The portions are also huge Our server was wonderful from start to finish. He was friendly, attentive, and checked on us often without being overbearing. The service was honestly the best part of the experience. We started with the Sichuan calamari, and this was easily the highlight of the meal. It was perfectly crispy, the glaze had just the right amount of sweetness and heat, and the seasoning gave it a nice kick without overpowering the calamari. It was one of the best calamari dishes I've had and definitely raised my expectations for everything that followed. Next was the tenderloin bruschetta, and unfortunately this one just didn't work for me. The flavors didn't come together, and it was much saltier than it needed to be. It felt like there were too many things happening on the plate without much balance. I wouldn't order it again. For the entrées, the Chilean Sea Bass was very good. The fish was flaky and cooked well, the risotto was creamy, and the sauce brought everything together without being too heavy. It was one of the stronger dishes we ordered. The lobster stuffed ravioli was another solid choice. The filling was generous, there was plenty of lobster on top, and the vodka sauce complemented everything nicely without taking over. It was rich but still well balanced. We also tried the New Zealand rack of lamb. This one had mixed reviews at our table. It wasn't as tender as I was hoping, but I didn't dislike it and again I didn't love it! The blackened exterior and the wine reduction gave it good flavor, but it just wasn't particularly memorable. My favorite entrée ended up being the tomahawk pork chop. The pork itself was juicy, flavorful, and cooked really well. I wasn't a huge fan of the pineapple bourbon glaze since I didn't think it added much to the dish, but the quality of the meat made up for it. We also had the strawberry spinach salad, which was fresh and a nice lighter option alongside all the richer dishes. Then there was also a side dish with green beans and almond and again no complains there. Overall, I left feeling a little conflicted. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere was great, and the portions were very generous. The food itself was a mix of really good dishes and others that completely missed the mark. After such an incredible start with the calamari, I expected the rest of the meal to be on the same level, but it just never got there. I'm glad we tried it, but I don't think it's a place I'd rush back to.
