Ight was amazing. The food was great and it left my taste buds dancing with joy. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to have a good time with their family. I would love to come back again. read more

We gave Cotton Patch Cafe three tries and they failed each one. The service is horrible. The forget to bring you half your meal and then they never come back to check on you or ask you if you need anything else. The food and atmosphere are ok though nothing outstanding or special and definitely not worth the hassle of actually getting your meal. read more

This is a great place for lunch. I've been here a number of times with my coworkers and I usually get a chicken fried steak plate or chicken fried chicken. It's a touch of country style cooking without it feeling too country. The prices, service, and quality is pretty good. read more

The Caesar Salmon salad gets a 100++!! Cotton Patch is my daily lunch stop the food and staff are awesome. S/o to Adam @ the Lewisville, Tx location he is there everyday at the bar with a smile when we walk in!! Just wanted to acknowledge quality food and customer service because you don't get this everywhere read more

Yummy food and very courteous service. Love the comfort food and casual atmosphere. A great place to take the kids and family!!

Disgusting. If you like very greasy (not drained/dripping oil) food, then this is the place for you! I tried it with my son and husband tonight as we are new to the area and are trying new places (to us) each week. I can think of many other better meals for 46 bucks. One star for nice attentive staff. read more

Love their chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken! We have always had very good service. The last time I was there I finally got to try the fried green tomatoes. Loved them! I was hoping to try the fried mac & cheese but for some reason, they are seasonal and apparently it was the wrong season. If you go there in the summer wearing summer attire bring a sweater (or don't take your blood pressure meds) because they crank the AC down even though some people are visibly uncomfortable. I will be back! read more

Went in for dinner and had outstanding food and service! Danni was so helpful and welcoming. I highly recommend asking for her next time you dine here! read more

The service was quick, friendly, and nice. But the food? I ordered the fish and chips. I know it's fried, but still, I didn't quite expect for the grease to literally splurge into my mouth in every bite. I've never had anything fried that had that much grease!!!!! read more

I ordered fried pickles, blackened tilapia, salad and steamed vegetables. Salad and dressing was not great. Steamed veggies were fairly bland. Tilapia was cooked well and seasoned properly. Pickles weren't *tart* enough..but had a nice texture. My friend ordered peach cobbler a la mode. It was OK. Service was great, though. I'd go back again probably for a burger or steak--both recommended by wait staff. read more

I have been to this location two times. The first was great, the food fresh, tasted great and even the kids loved it. The second time we went we were disappointed. Our waiter seemed much more interested in flirting with the other wait staff and standing around chatting. The mood was mediocre at best. We had to ask for refills and had to ask for a check twice. read more

Good portions, price, food, and service. Chicken fried chicken is so good! Just the right amount of batter and juicy chicken breast inside. Meatloaf wasn't too good but was edible. Wasn't dry or anything, but the flavor and sauce was weird. If you like traditional meatloaf with tomato sauce, don't get this. Bacon fries and chips with queso & salsa were good appetizers. We had a table with 4 adults and the two appetizers and individual meals (smaller portion options) were all finished. Love their bread rolls! Super pillowy soft inside and buttery crust on the outside. Piping hot too when they brought it out. Our server was really good also. Kept coming for refills, checked in once in awhile (but not so much to be annoying), quick and friendly. Overall very good first impression. I'd be coming back next time I'm back here visiting. read more

The workers here are not serious, I placed an online order came in to pick up, and no one had my order ready nor did they have a clue about the order. No apologies or anything they weren't busy but they had a lot of staff on site, so why wasn't my order ready? read more

Love the food here. This was my second trip to this location and I was not disappointed. The only draw back is that the place needs more room to house all the people that come in! read more

Plenty of food and good service. However, the quality of the food was mediocre. Maybe it's me - I prefer seasoned food. I thought it was bland. Think I'll skip it next time. read more

I recently started going back to Cotton Patch as I heard they made changes at this location. I was very surprised it had changed for the better. Food was better, it was cleaner and we had a great time I will start making this my weekly spot again. read more

Amazing chicken fried steak and HUGE portions! Mondays $7.99!! Family oriented restaurant, large portions at reasonable prices. The menus is extensive and the service was pretty good. I liked how laid back the restaurant was and child friendly. Will definitely return! read more

Such great comfort food and always great customer service! Ashlynn G. is highly recommended and Corey the manager is wonderful. We will definitely be back! read more

Ordered To Go tonight everything was correct on my order and was hot and servers fast! Just how I like it!

We went in for lunch and our server Patrick was wonderful. Since we dine with a 2 year old it is important to me when they go out of their way for the little ones. He brought out my son's food first, which he loved, then came our food which we loved. He was so attentive, nice and very respectful. This is not the first time he has been our server and every time he is wonderful. read more

Very pleasant service and the food was fresh and good. Great place to stop if it happens that you are in this part of the world :-)

Fathers birthday and he received a sirloin instead of the prime rib. They comped but this is not our first bad experience. If you have a choice, choose better than we did. read more

ROACHES!! This was one of my favorite restaurants since I moved to Frisco in 2015. Today's lunch ended that relationship. I stopped in for a quick lunch today. I ordered chips and queso and tortilla soup.....and waited, and waited, and waited, and waited. Just when I had given up and was going to leave in frustration, the waitress brought my food. It must have been sitting forever, as the cheese had a film on the top and my soup was cold. I sent the soup back and ate the chips and queso. After eating, I went to the ladies room to my HORROR THERE WAS A HUGE DEAD ROACH ON THE FLOOR right next to the toilet. I will never never never eat there again!! Food poor, service poor, cleanliness....ROACHES! read more

Our server today was mediocre at best. She didn't even check on us once we were brought our food by someone else. We had to flag her down to get the check and once we got it it took her 10 mins to get our card. Before you can say maybe she was busy, no she was to busy talking and flirting with other servers. The food was pleasant but not mind blowing. read more

I can say that six years ago, I thought Cotton Patch was a good place to go. But recently when I have gone, I was disappointed in the atmosphere and the food. I think the main reason for the nose dive in the quality of the food is due to a chef change. Now, there is a sort of mass production feel to the restaurant. I have also experienced a lack of the high level of service, that use to be apparent. I would love to go back, but refuse to as long as their food is not to the quality that I serve at home. read more

This is a cute place! Me and my mom went right in and got seated. Our waiter was very good and pretty cute! The food came out quickly. The bread was good, it was like miniature loafs of bread. Mom liked her chicken and fries. She was glad they actually got to come with gravy for a change, more places should offer gravy! I had a side of fries with my cup of CPC potato cheese soup. They had a good variety on their menu. read more

Very kid friendly! Warning it does get busy on the weekends! Not too long of a wait though. Love the chicken fried chicken and mash potatoes... read more

Good chicken fried steak and grilled, blackened shrimp. Butter cake with caramel sauce is addictive.

Chicken fried steak was tough and took a while to chew. Loaded mashed potatoes tasted like they were frozen then thawed out. "Chicken tortilla soup" was not chicken tortilla soup. The Mac n cheese was ok. read more

The deal with chains really comes down to service assuming there is good management in place. As a while I think Cotton Patch is decent and have at at several different locations. Thus one was on par with most of my experiences as far as food goes. The hostess wasn't very friendly but the waitress made up for it. read more

Love this place. Good for comfort food. Always a great vibe and the waiters and waitresses are always in a great mood. Try not to come at dinner time 6-8 other wise it's Always crowded. But the food always speaks for itself and is always good. Definitely a home feel place and everyone should try :) read more

Never order a margarita here...EVER! Had a newbie waiter that knew nothing about service and when I told the margarita didn't taste like a margarita he went to ask the bartender. He came back to our table and said the bartender said they don't have a good bar. Truer words. He didn't even offer anything in exchange. He was a terrible waiter and gave terrible service. Manager then came by and asked if everything was to our liking?! I told him what happened, he offered to remove the charge but I had already paid the tab. He ended up giving us a coupon for a free appetizer. I would've preferred better service and a better margarita. read more

Second time back was worse. The hostess was not friendly she appeared to be training an older gentleman which he was very pleasant when he sat us. The waitress was nice but she kept telling us how understaffed and busy they were. As someone who has worked in the food industry I feel you should never tell your guests these things. It took quite a while for her to come over to take our drink order we ordered an appetizer at the same time she said she would be back for our food order. when she did return she said she had to go get her pen & pad and she would come back. After a bit she took our order and said the appetizer wasn't ready and said " do you even still want it" we said yes and she said "what was it again?" I'm only speculating but it seemed as if she forgot to put it in altogether. When I ordered our kids' food the menu said choose an entree and side. one wanted chicken and fries the other spaghetti (silly strings I believe is what it was called on the menu) and salad. She said that it would be 2 sides because salad isn't an option I showed her the menu which said salad with low fat ranch as an option and she said "oh okay fine" She then returned a minute later to ask what the kids wanted again. Then another lady came over to say they didn't have spaghetti so we changed to corn dogs. When I checked the time We were 25 minutes in and still no appetizer (bacon cheese fries) they finally arrive and bit later our food comes no corn dog but a huge salad so I ask the girl if it was on there or not. She just walked away. The waitress comes over after a while and I ask her she said she will get one. I told her not to worry about it she's happy with the large salad there's no way she could eat both just please don't charge us since we never got it. She says okay and leaves but comes back a few minutes later with the corn dog anyway I said no we said we didn't need it. There's no way she could eat both she could have if it was the small kids salad with her meal but it wasn't. Our drinks set empty for almost the whole meal until a gentleman came over to fill them, I assume he was a runner or busboy he had an apron on, he was very nice. I sent this via message when it happened and the response was to fill out an online form. I'm not gonna do that I already told you how horrible it was. Only updating my review so other people are aware of how bad this place is. read more

The servers at this restaurant are always smiling and the orders are always correct. The benefit is the food also tastes great.

Our server was a skinny guy with a black eye. He did an awesome job and had great knowledge of the foods. No complaints with the service or food. Just as good as I remember when I worked here 5 years ago except they revamped the whole place and some new menu items. read more

I just wanted to thank our sever Momo for the excellent service she provided. She was very patient and provided speedy service. She greeted us with a smile. The food was excellent and tasted freshly prepared. I will definitely return... read more

Our server Momo was probably the best server I've had in years. She should definitely be working at a 5 star restaurant!

We travel to this location even when There's traffic as the food and the service are a 10. We eat here at least 3 times a month and anything we order is always fantastic. We recently order the top sirloin and it was as tender as can be. Better than some steak restaurants we been to. read more

I placed my order online and was there within 5 minutes. I spoke with an employee who was in the parking lot delivering food but she said she didn't do take-out. I then called into the restaurant and told them I was there and could they bring my food out as soon as it was ready. At the specified time on the order, I called in again asking about my order. Was told they would be right out. When the employee came to the car, I asked if my meal had been sitting there and it had FOR SOME TIME. Now shame on me for not calling back in sooner but shame on them. I was parked in a spot specifically for pick-up orders. Neither of the first two employees had any buy-in to the process or the customer experience. The only reason I am rating it 2 stars is because Amira who brought my food to me refunded my money. She was apologetic and responsive and understood the customer is the reason the business operates. Chewing gum and twirling your hair doesn't pay the bills. Servicing the customer does. The food was cold by the time it came to the car which is a shame as I was there shortly after the order was placed. read more

I've eaten here and 4 other locations. Always been pretty good food and service and fair pricing. Nobody is mentioning that it is just like the Black Eyed Pea when they first started. Not too many places to get veggies anymore, sad. read more
