The ribs here were surprisingly very tender and flavorful, while the brisket also had the perfect mix of lean and fat. They also make their dinner rolls fresh in-house, so every 20-30 minutes or so they'll come around with a basket of fresh rolls and offer them to people. For the price, you're getting a solid deal. Good meat, multiple sides, and unlimited fresh dinner rolls. On top of that, they give out BOGO free coupons often, so then the price comes down to $12/person. The price for taste here is unbeatable and I think that deserves a five star alone for that. Once they stop making those coupons, it'll probably go down to a four star. Spring Creek is a Dallas institution. Wish they had better brisket. Ribs and chopped pork were nice . Pork is with a mustard sauce (Carolina style). Sides are great! So very disappointed in Spring Creek BBQ off Preston in Frisco. I ordered online and went to pickup. I should have checked my order but after working all day I was tired and hungry. I got a half pound ribs and half pound pull pork and some sides for my mother and I to celebrate pre-4th of July. So is it me or did the weights change? Is this actually a half pound of each. Been eating Spring Creek since the 90s. To me, this is just what BBQ is supposed to be. I realize it's the "fast food" of BBQ, but the ribs are ALWAYS on point. Brisket can be hit or miss. Sides are consistent. Just don't go any later than an hour before closing. The brisket definitely gets worse later in the evening. read more

Please...someone is gonna have to intervene! A lot of employees standing around the ,front behind the counter, supposed to be serving but yapping! Really my experience with service at the last several locations Ive been to is severely lacking. Only a corporate intervention is gonna save them. They have what I consider a great bogo deal. Its been going on for decades. You get a coupon in the mail once a week for a buy one get one free rib dinner. They serve you about 7 ribs,2 sides, rolls sauce etc. It is a delicious bargain. However,its not what it once was and for some reason Spring Creek is rollling down hill at all their locations and no one seems to want to save them. We always have great food and service every time we go. My husband likes the lean brisket, potato salad and beans. I get the pepper sausage and baked potato (loaded with cheese, sour cream, butter, bacon and chives). The all-you-can-eat rolls are the best in town and they come to your table to fill you up! Spring Creek is better than I remember. We went there for Spirit Night and the staff was really friendly. The butcher slicing up the sausage was mesmerizing as his knife skills were incredible. The brisket, sausage, and pulled pork were pretty good. Not the greatest in Frisco but not bad. The Macaroni and Cheese was really good but Green Beans were too salty. I'm speechless. I ordered lunch from Spring Creek today and this is what I received when I asked for sliced brisket. My roommate smokes meat all the time and he was shocked at what he saw. He said there is no smoke ring and it looked like it was microwaved or cooked in a crock pot, definitely not smoked. Also the color was very off putting..I've never seen brisket like this. If that's what you want to call it. When I tell you it was so bad I didn't eat it, see pictures for proof. The only thing they have going for themselves is the sides. Definitely should not consider this barbecue. Super disappointing and disgusting to be honest. I read the bad reviews but against my better judgement, I ordered it anyways. We decided we wanted BBq so went to Spring Creek Bbq a bit up from the mall boy o boy was it delicious everything was pipin hot fresh and delicious the brisket was moist and marbled to perfection the ribs were full of flavor and literally falling off the bone. We also asked for a basket of fried okra that came out to order super fast and made with perfection. Then there was a lady walking around offering hot fresh bread. The restaurant was beautiful smelled delicious. The customer service was amazing and then one of the managers by the name of Danny walked over to us, asked if we needed anything else. He was glad to offer us a refill on our tea super pleasant experience. The food was a 10 out of 10 I wish I would've brought some of that fresh hot bread roadhouse who?????? This is a must try if you are in Frisco Texas and walking around the mall and making an appetite go to Spring Creek barbecue you won't regret it. Price is crazy high. This place offers coupons which pretty much forces you to use them or don't bother coming. Expect to pay over $20 per person. BBQ is not cheap. Prices have gone up. Ate here on a Monday evening about 5:30. The place was almost empty. Pleasant, friendly staff. I had brisket and sausage, with mac & cheese and baked beans on the side. Wife had a big salad. With enough BBQ sauce the meat tasted pretty good. Mac $ cheese were also pretty good. The beans had a very funky off-taste, so I didn't eat more than one bite. Wife said her salad tasted good, but after she got home she got pretty sick to her stomach, which went away the middle of the next day. Not sure that it was from her salad, but definitely not sure it wasn't either.
