Have ordered self-kiosk here twice. Good customer service, enough space for customers, hasn't been real busy when I go. Food is really yummy, & good portion size. Will be back

My wife & I came here after church. The food tasted pretty good. Unfortunately, we felt the service was not done well as they forgot our side items until we had to ask for them. After a while the server check and found out they had not even started and rushed it out to is. The atmosphere was chill though. We may try this place again and hopefully service will be better.

We are big fans of Burning Rice and were excited to try this new location. Right away noticed an upgrade- all kiosk ordering. Only way to order is at the self-order kiosk. Come prepared. Our foot was the on brand sizzling hot! (Listen to my video snip!) It was tasty, and just what I was craving. I love the versatility in options. So many flavors! And appreciate the pan seared tofu. I love the hit bowl that continues to cook my food. We also ordered spring rolls. We will mos def be back!!

Recently visited this place and I'll definitely be going back often when I want bibimbap. I enjoyed their hot stone option though it did take awhile for our food to come when we went as they had lots of online orders so it's not as fast as you might think. I like that there's so many protein options and you can decide how you want the egg cooked. Everything is customizable which is nice. Good mandu dumplings and crispy shrimp. They have a couple choices for sauce including their signature which is salty and sweet and maybe a tiny bit spicy.

Casual Korean food on the go or dine-in, but definitely worth the stay! This fast food type service has a screen where you place your order and take a number. You'll wait for your order to be brought out. I would HIGHLY recommend you dine-in because the hot stone bowl is only available dine-in (if you're on the go you can still get a bowl to go). We built our own bowls- kimchi rice, all the toppings, and protein was spicy chicken. The only variation in the bowls were how the egg was prepared- scrambled vs over easy. The sauce options are endless & tasty! Sesame, house made soy sauce, gochujang, and signature sauce. All are great additions to the bowl! The best part was our bowl was steaming hot the entire time. We loved this experience, and hope to be back again soon.

As a dad and self-proclaimed restaurant reviewer (mostly for the benefit of my son, who just nods while shoveling food in his mouth), I have to say--Burning Rice in Allen is absolutely on fire! And I mean that in the best way possible. This location is a new location, but they've already got everything running like a well-oiled (or well-sizzled) machine. The staff? Super friendly. The service? Fast and efficient. The bathrooms? Clean enough to make me say, 'Wow, they actually care!' And the food? Oh man, the food. I'm still in disbelief that I have my very own Burning Rice this close to home. My son and I both got hot bowls with an egg on top, and let me tell you--these bowls arrived sizzling like a dad on the first warm day of BBQ season. The wooden casing around the bowl keeps the heat in, so be careful because these things could double as a hand warmer in the winter. But that heat is what makes the magic happen--the rice gets perfectly crispy at the bottom, the flavors mix beautifully, and every bite is an explosion of Korean BBQ goodness. This isn't my first time at Burning Rice, but it's my first time at Burning Rice in Allen. Needless to say, I'll be here a lot and will continue my exploration of their awesome menu. Seriously, I might start measuring time in "how long until I get another Burning Rice bowl" instead of days and hours.

Went in for a quick lunch since it's near my doctor. The food was fresh, hot and good. Thank goodness for the sweet server who stood and helped me with my order. I am picky and you have to order on their computer. I prefer human. Yes, I'm old. LOL Will definitely go back!

This is my first time to this restaurant and recommend it to me by a South Korean business owner I know. It was very tasty and a decent value. I would definitely go back again and try some different sauces on the spicy pork next time.

The food was good, if not the greatest BBQ I've ever had, but the overall experience was much fun. The restaurant is in the form of a large barn with ample seating and a walk-through line where you can pick out your meat and then any sides and drinks you'd like. I enjoyed having the "conundrum" of trying to figure out which of the meats to try as they stare at you from the smoker, all saying, "Pick me!" My first visit to any BBQ place is nearly always to try the pulled pork, figuring that if they can't get that right, nothing else is likely all that good. That's not always true, but since pulled pork is one of my favorites, it's a good approach anyway. :) I took my platter laden with an abundant amount of pulled pork and then selected corn on the cob, cole slaw, a slice of custard pie, and a sweet tea. After paying, I made my way into the main dining area and selected a high-top wooden table along the wall that was, shall we say, very awkward to sit at based on how the stationary stool was positioned in conjunction with the table, so I moved to a nearby regular table that was just fine. There's plenty of outdoor seating, but based on the temperature that day, I chose to stay inside. Digging in, I found the pulled pork to be good, but it was a little dry and salty. The standard house BBQ sauce was good, though, and the corn on the cob was very nice. The cole slaw was about what you'd expect, and the custard pie was tasty, even if it wasn't the best I'd ever had. The sweet tea was excellent. What I probably loved most, though, was eating all this in that environment, with the Texas-American paraphernalia hanging on the walls and a radio station playing nothing but 80s and 90s country music over the speakers--the years when I loved country the most. I wanted a BBQ experience as big as Texas while I was here, and I got that. For that reason, my visit to Hard Eight was a hit, and I will happily visit again on a future trip.

But our curiosity based on reviews and menu options got us to decide on this place. We seated ourselves as place was basically empty. Ordered Rattlesnake Bites(corn), chips and queso and waffle fried with Mojo mayo! For the main course, 4 of us got different entrees. I got the smashed burger with hill country on bed of nachos, my wife is vegetarian so she got the grilled avocado with Fajita Cantina on bowl of buttered lime rice. Our friends got Brisket on hacienda and then had switch it to hill country as the hacienda had tomatoes in queso and bowl of buttered lime rice and smoked chicken with buttered lime rice. None of the entries had any flavor. Hill country tasted like only BBQ sauce and there was not even a hint of mole. Brisket was fine but damp rice made the entree subpar Grilled avocado wqs grilled and again the rice was damp. Smoked Chicken was hard as well. Appetizers were the only good part of experience. Waitress stopped by and asked us if everything was good, my wife said food was mediocre. There was nothing done to make it right. I managed to finish mine but rest of them left the restaurant without finishing and hungry. 14$+ for an entree and it lacked anything to write about. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone for the food or service.

I ate the popper, lb&j, and the cowboy, which I love (ate the smokehouse in the past and that's also a top choice). The Cowboys pimento cheese was just the right amount of cheese for the slider and the jalapeno cilantro aioli was an outstanding addition to it. The PB&J - I'm a sucker for jam in a burger and the blackberry jam was refreshing and cool and paired great with the bacon in the peanut butter while still complimenting the meat. The Popper had a lot of rosemary lime aioli which was delicious to bite into. I've been here several times and narrowed down to my favorite 4. The sides (waffle fries, extra sugary drinks, onion rings) could be improved but while the sliders are pricy, they leave a great impression. The service is also very kind to lete grab a lot more ketchup packs and you do feel the "butcher" vibes in the food when you're eating.

Cowboy - Beef, pimento cheese, crispy onion straws, jalapeño cilantro aioli - DELICIOUS. the pimento cheese was the star of the show and made the slider taste extra good 2. Smokehouse - Beef, smoked brisket, Cheddar, pickled red onion, house BBQ sauce, rosemary lime aioli - I enjoyed this the only downside was the brisket was dry and made me so thankful for the drink that came with my meal. 3. Popper - Beef, fried jalapeño & cream cheese, pepper jam, bacon, cilantro, rosemary lime aioli - DID NOT ENJOY. Unfortunately the jam that this burgie came with just overpowered the whole thing and not in a good way. It did not mesh with the rest of the ingredients and the popper had no flavor or filling. It just flattened when I took a bite and I got nothing but a mouthful of that terrible jam. The waffle fries were ok just nothing special. The onion rings though....OMG so crisp, so fresh, so flavorful. Would just come back for those. Service was fine, we were the only people waiting to order so it was quick.
