Bulgogi
D K.

The menu is a perfect blend of traditional Korean dishes with a modern twist, and every bite was bursting with authentic flavors. The beef bulgogi plate was tender and perfectly marinated, served with fluffy rice, japchae noodles, and fresh veggies that complemented it beautifully. The taiyaki with sweet red bean filling was a delightful treat, and their boba milk teas (I got the matcha!) were refreshing and perfectly sweetened. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. If you're in Prosper and craving authentic Korean cuisine, Goyaki is a must-visit! We'll definitely be back! Kitchen looks clean and so were the restrooms.

Spicy Chicken Plate and Mandu

We stumbled up this restaurant while searching for a Korean Restaurant, and boy were we pleased! This joint surprised us with the quality and taste of the food! Owner is friendly and cooks the order fresh. My husband isn't a big fan of Korean food, but this place, he craves! Lol Our go-to orders are Spicy Chicken plate + Beef bulgogi plate - which comes with picked veggies, rice noodles, two Mandus, and two tempura shrimps.

Bibimbap

I was really excited and hopeful about GoYaki, especially since it's the first of its kind here in Prosper. Unfortunately, the experience fell short in several key areas. While the food was flavorful, the quality didn't quite match up. The galbi, for instance, had good seasoning but was overly chewy. And when it came to value, I expected more. I ordered the bibimbap, and as you can see from the photo, it had hardly any meat and was missing several traditional ingredients. Most surprising of all--there was no kimchi included. When we asked about it, we were told it had to be purchased separately, which is disappointing given that kimchi is typically a staple of the dish. I really wanted to love this place, but the food lacked authenticity, and the overall value just wasn't there.

The food here is delicious! We ordered Togo the spicy pork, spicy chicken ,Galbi plate and the red bean taiyaki for dessert . It's very flavorful and great portion size. Everything was so good. The owner is very friendly and food came out fast. I'm so glad it's close by. I'll definitely be coming back and more often to try everything on the menu. highly recommend.

Goyaki is a great spot!! We ordered to go. Everything was fantastic. We loved the LA galbi, bulgogi beef, japchae, shrimp tempura, and mandu. It is so wonderful to have such a good Korean restaurant in Prosper. We highly recommend and can't wait to go back.

Omg.,,when I say this is the best spicy pork bulgogi I've ever had and I'm not even exaggerating. It's legit korean food and they make it fresh when you order!! def will be coming back here to try the other stuff on the menu!

Fabulous Korean food, kiosk order and nice clean seating area. We ordered the spicy chicken bowl and beef bulgogi bowl. Both were fabulous. After seeing the Bungeoppang delivered to the next table, we had to order some. Oh my goodness, so good. You can not go wrong with a warm crispy pastry filled with Nutella. We will visit again.

Self explanatory!

I did a Mini NAE Chicken bowl (one with veggies and one with white rice + green onion). I feel like each bowl was delicious, but maybe slightly dry. I'll be back again, and would love to taste test the sauces! I did find my bowl with green onion had a little too much green onion. Other than that, no complaints! Since this location is an hour away, I always make sure to stock up on their magic sauce. They even sell a sauce package, which is a lifesaver. The only downside to being in Texas is that many locals aren't used to the original flavors. I was told that most people here don't like to drench their meat in sauce, so this location is considering reformulating it to better suit local tastes. The restaurant itself is well maintained, clean, and has plenty of space for dining in, which makes the experience even more comfortable. Service is exceptional! The owners and staff give you their full attention and genuinely enjoy building relationships with customers. The food does take a bit longer, but that's because every bowl and plate is cooked fresh.

The staff was genuinely friendly and attentive, which immediately set a positive tone for the experience. The menu offered a great variety with plenty of options, and I really appreciated that items were clearly marked to indicate whether they contained raw fish. That's a thoughtful touch that makes the menu more approachable for guests who may be new to sushi or prefer cooked options. Presentation-wise, the rolls looked fantastic and were plated beautifully. The flavors were good as well. However, the one thing that held the experience back for me was the portion size of the rolls. Some of them were extremely large--my Rock & Roll was so big that fitting a single piece comfortably in my mouth was a challenge. Sushi is traditionally meant to be eaten in one bite to enjoy the balance of rice, fish, and fillings. When the pieces get too large, it can throw off that balance and make the eating experience a bit messy. I also found the eel sauce to be unusually thick--almost molasses-like--which didn't quite have the smooth, glossy texture I typically enjoy. Overall, it's still a solid spot worth trying, especially if you enjoy larger rolls and generous portions. For me personally, the size of the rolls disrupted the balance I look for in sushi, so it may not become my regular spot--but others may really enjoy it.
