Food, as usual, was excellent. Including updated menus and pricing. We had the crab Rangoon and it was plump full of stuffing, orange chicken was top notch and the broccoli beef (extra spicy) did not disappoint.

    stuffed jalapeños

i don't normally write yelp reviews, but this place blew me away. everything on the menu looked very tasty but i got the stuffed jalapeño's which were phenomenal. huge portion size for the price it's an appetizer but i'm stuffed! the woman working the register was very sweet as well i'll definitely be back!

You get over the idea of gas station sushi once you try the food. We have been ordering from here for a few years now. Tonight we ordered crab rangoon (not something we will order again), ahi tuna tower (really good), Philadelphia roll (good) , Louisiana roll (okay) and crawfish volcano roll (very good). They are super nice but call ahead.

Bad food. Dried up chicken and frozen and egg rolls from a freezer at the store ‍‍‍

Chicken fried rice brought in from a friend for lunch and the stir fry chicken was awful!! The chicken pieces were so dry, you could tell it was left over chicken! Never again!!!! Also, the egg rolls were from frozen food department! Come on. I know times are hard, but you will loose business by serving old dried chicken and egg rolls from the frozen food department.‍‍‍‍ I never eat out and thought this would be a treat with our visit! Never again and this is why I usually never eat out!!! Shame on this restaurant owner.

Tiger roll left ,Angel roll middle, spicy salmon roll right

I got the angel roll and the salmon roll and they were so good!! The salmon in both were so juicy and big and was just so yummy. The tiger roll was also so freaking good. I loved it all. We also got the vegetable lo mien it was good but I recommend the sushi better! The prices were cheap and fair especially for how good the salmon tasted. I'm literally about to get some right now lol.

    Avocado bombs

Gas station sushi??? That's fantastic??? What an amazing hidden gem in a Celina 7/11! We had avocado bombs, stuffed jalapeños, orange chicken, and kung pao chicken. We arrived at the heart of the dinner rush, so there was a bit of a wait for our fresh, cooked to order meals. Entrees were generously portioned and flavorful. The avocado bombs lived up to the hype! The service was impeccable. Every table was occupied, and there was a steady stream of phone orders coming in. Don't let the location fool you; this is affordable and legit Chinese food.

What they say about gas station restaurants is absolutely true. This place is amazing! I ordered the Sweet Chili Shrimp w/Fried Rice and it was so damn good!!! I also ordered the Paradise Roll, but was too full to eat it, so I'll have to report back. ‍‍ If you're in the area don't pass this place up, it's definitely worth it!

My boyfriend and I wanted to check out this place because of all the interesting reviews, and it did not disappoint! It's true this place is simple on the inside and attached to a gas station, but the food was delicious with generous portions. I got the Walnut Shrimp and Crunchy Roll and my boyfriend got the Honey Sesame Chicken. The shrimp pieces were huge and crispy, and I loved the glazed walnuts! I was surprised by how much filling was in the Crunchy Roll. The Honey Sesame Chicken was also very well done. The woman working the register was also super sweet and nice - hoping to come here again!

What really stood out, though, was the service. Our waitress was fantastic and paid attention to the little details. My friend was making sure our order didn't include mushrooms, and she took the time to ask if it was due to an allergy so she could make sure everything was safe. All of the items that we had are in the photos, but the creative presentation is what stood out most! Cute bao buns, chicken served with ramen to allow the customer to enjoy it as they would like, and good sized portions. My only ask would be for more broth with the ramen dishes. The noodle to broth ratio was just slightly off. 9/10 would recommend.

Chicken was so dry I ditched it and charged me $5 for shredded vegetables, no rice. Look how awesome $5 worth of veggies (or should I say shredded cabbage) is. Really people ...rice costs you nothing to add to the order. Never again! I wouldn't feed this to my dog. Person on the phone hung up on me when I complained and blamed Uber.. $25 down the drain. GROSS! AND I'm expensing this so it's not even my money! Unfortunately, I reviewed them on Uber Eats prior to me eating. I wanted to give my delivery person a good review. BTW... I also asked for utensils and hot sauce.., didn't get ‍. So just keep blaming the delivery service. Never had an issue with any other Chinese place on Uber Eats. The food court had better food than this dump! That's odd that it's always the delivery services fault. DO BETTER FOR THE NEXT DELIVERY CUSTOMER!!!!

And the food is authentic. Hot Hong Kong milk tea and French toast are my favorite breakfast items and that's exactly what I got. If I were in Hong Kong, I would get them in the morning. But I wouldn't mind having them any time of the day! The milk tea was great. I liked the aromatic, bold black tea. It was fairly creamy and smooth. The French toast was delicious also. Fried golden brown, it was toasty on the outside, and nutty, buttery (with peanut butter filling) on the inside. I liked the condensed milk drizzled on top, instead of syrup, which I normally use at home. They also have other Hong Kong style dishes, like the baked cutlet pork chop with rice, fish fillet in creamy white sauce, and iconic street foods like curry fish balls, radish, and pork rinds (yummy!) This place is fully decorated with so many Hong Kong street items, like the big wall pictures of busy, beautiful city views, signs of major streets, shop signs, etc. If you're not from Hong Kong, they may not mean too much to you. But if you are, they're invariably nostalgic. If you want a delightful experience of Hong Kong food and ambience, come give it a try.

The green onion pork chop rice was flavorful and comforting. The pork chop was tender and well seasoned, and the scallion soy sauce soaked beautifully into the rice. Simple and satisfying, exactly what you want from a classic HK café dish. The standout was the stir fried flat noodle with beef. It came out piping hot with steam rising, and the texture was spot on. The noodles were perfectly chewy without being greasy or clumped together, and the beef was tender with that subtle smoky wok hei flavor. You can tell it was cooked fresh, and that heat and texture really made the dish shine. The salted lemon soda was bright and refreshing, while the Yuen Yeung was strong and smooth with that classic Hong Kong milk tea and coffee combo kick. The tofu pudding had an authentic Hong Kong flavor. Served warm with a light ginger sugar syrup, it was silky smooth, delicate, and not overly sweet, bringing back that nostalgic HK dessert shop vibe. If you're craving classic Hong Kong cha chaan teng comfort food, this place absolutely hits the spot. Prices are reasonable, portions are generous, and it feels like a true neighborhood spot. We will be back.

Step 4: Name every roll after either a volcano, a ninja, or an apocalypse. Komodo Loco apparently looked at that formula and said, "Nah." This place has actual character. The restaurant is dark and cool without feeling like you're being interrogated. There are cozy little nooks everywhere, and somehow it manages to feel both laid-back and upscale. Like if a speakeasy and a sushi restaurant had a child who grew up with excellent taste. Then the food arrived. Look, I've had plenty of sushi. I've had good sushi. I've had "my friend won't stop talking about this sushi" sushi. Komodo Loco belongs in the last category. The fish was incredibly fresh, but what really stood out was that the rolls didn't all taste like slight variations of spicy mayo negotiating with cream cheese. The flavors were genuinely original. We ordered the Crispy Rice Bites, the T-Dub Roll, and the Horacio Roll based on our server's recommendations. The Crispy Rice Bites were so good I briefly considered ordering a second round before I had finished the first. The T-Dub Roll disappeared from the plate so quickly that I suspect it may have violated several laws of physics. The Horacio Roll was one of those dishes that makes you stop talking mid-sentence and stare into the middle distance while reconsidering every life choice that led you to not order two of them. Which brings me to our server: Breann. Or Breanna. I apologize for not knowing which one. In my defense, I was busy entering a committed relationship with sushi. My daughter is moving to Denton, and since we don't live here, we asked what we should order. Breann/Breanna immediately became the Gandalf of menu navigation. There was no hesitation. No "everything is good." No vague server diplomacy. Just confident recommendations that absolutely delivered. She was kind, funny, helpful, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. More importantly, she made my daughter feel at home in a city she's about to call home. As a dad, that meant a lot. I also loved how Komodo Loco celebrated Pride Month. Not because restaurants have to weigh in on everything, but because the atmosphere simply communicated: "Hey, you're welcome here." And honestly, that's one of the best things a restaurant can do. Good food fills your stomach. A welcoming place fills the room. Komodo Loco managed to do both. So yes, I'll be back every time I'm in Denton. My daughter thinks she's moving here for school. I think she's moving here so I'll have an excuse to eat at Komodo Loco several times a year. One of us is probably right.

However, after placing our order, we noticed several tables seated after us receiving their food before we did. At one point, we were concerned our order may have been overlooked.
