I got a bibimbap bowl with teriyaki chicken and japchae and it was super yummy. My husband got a bulgolgi burrito. We will be going back.

This place is amazing! My husband and I love the Big Bite Bowl. The bowl is made with fresh, flavorful ingredients and you get a lot of food. Finally, the staff is so friendly, I always receive such a warm welcome whenever I stop in.

BigBite is located right next to my job. I see it every morning and hoped to try it. Yesterday I was starving so I put in an order online. The service was super quick! I ordered a spicy chicken bowl, my husband had the spicy chicken burrito and we ordered a side of Chicken Katsu. The spice of the chicken was perfect. I loved all the veggies and flavor. My husband did not want vegetables but I'm glad they gave him some anyway. He needs some good veggies in his life. The Katsu with the sauce was delicious. When I came to pick up my order the sweet couple who own the restaurant greeted me! I absolutely loved that. They are too cute. Will try more items with my fellow coworkers soon.

Love everything about this place. The bulgogi burrito is my go to, sometime I get two, one for now and one for another day or latter that day. Entire family loves this place. Easy to order online and pick up and super easy to customize your dish. We have some "complicated orders" if ya know what I mean and it's all easy and I cannot remember a time our order was not exactly how we ordered it. Nice family who runs it as well. The food is good and reasonable! Korean bulgogi is my new carnivore obsession. I know there are probably a few carbs in the sauce but it is a small sacrifice I make. I ordered just the bulgogi with extra meat and it was perfect. My friend ordered the bulgogi bowl with a fried egg it was her first experience with Korean food. I got there early, in fact my friend forgot so I had to wait for her to arrive. She lives within a few blocks of downtown McKinney so it took about 15 minutes to get there. The weather outside was beautiful, but too bright to see my phone so I went inside and asked if they minded if I sat inside while I waited. They were so kind and helpful. The girl asked me if I wanted something to drink and when I asked for Iced Tea she brought me a bottle from the refrigerator. They don't have fountain drinks, just bottled sodas, juice, tea and water. The place is clean and cheery. I use a walker so I am always concerned about handicapped accommodations and the place is spacious as well as the bathroom fully accessible. Looking forward to visiting with my family. read more

I have to go with the bulgogi bowl every time I come here, it's my favorite kind of asian type of dish. They marinate it which is awesome, definitely impressed by this place the past 6 months I've been here. Drinks are just casual options mostly but the food outweighs that. Definitely recommend this for anyone in the area. read more

Last night we tried Big Bowl Bite and Burrito and it was absolutely amazing. We ordered the Big Bite bowl, one bulgogi bowl, and two teriyaki bowls for the kids, all to go. The service was fantastic. I believe it was the owner or manager who handed us the food. He was so kind and polite and even gave us four Moon Pies for free. The food was delicious and I honestly could not find one thing to complain about. The portions were great, everything was fresh, and it traveled really well for takeout. Amazing food and even better service! I would highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for authentic Korean food. My 9-year old son and I will definitely be back! I ordered the BigBite bowl with scrambled egg and my son got the Kids-Bol Popcorn Chicken! (He got it with the soy-based sauce to avoid spice but they gave us the Korean sauce on the side to try it and he loved it - in moderation!) Glad this is right down the street from us! read more

I had to get yelp so i could give this spot a review. 10/10 food was great, the people are nice, food came out quick. I got spicy shrimp bowl and housed it, if you like good food and and full stomach, the bowls are great, this my first time here. I will be back. It's my 3rd times I like this place but, this time a little disappointed. Rice was little hard and onion is not completely cooked so smalls not good & taste different than last time. Likely spoiled after having lived in Vancouver, Toronto, and San Francisco. As for Rice Garden, drove by and decided to try hoping once again for almost anything I can be loyal to. This was clearly Americanized Chinese food and worth a try via takeout. Ratings below are in context of what's in North Texas. Prices: Very reasonable and doesn't feel like the many other restaurants who have taken inflation to a new level. Portions: Texas size and should have no complaints. Appearance: Clean Staff/service: No idea as was takeout, but food was packed ready to go within 20 mins of a web order. Food: Slightly bland which I welcomed bc I find most restaurants over oil or over salt their food. Would suggest some modest modifications to improve reception while still keeping food "Americanized" and keeping costs down. Hot & Sour Soup: Needs more black vinegar, as was imbalanced. It was also missing more of the usual traditional things like wood ear mushrooms, bamboo shoots, strips of pork etc but with all of this no way one can sell for $5.99. Nonetheless, the vinegar alone would have brought it home. Sesame Chicken: Ordered white meat (and liked that they had that option with no up charge). Decent flavor, but slightly mushy hence may order extra crispy next time. Vegetable Hot Pot: It was just ok, very non-descript. In isolation reasonably priced, but compared to pricing of other items within the restaurant, it shouldn't be among the more expensive entrees. Kung Pao Shrimp: Ok, non descript, but edible and may/not order again. Also tasted (and looked) too similar to vegetable hot pot. Singapore Vermicelli: Decent, but needed slightly more curry flavor as was slightly on blander side. A small amount of BBQ pork strips (i.e., char siu) to balance out the chicken would have been nice. Will order again. Want to see them do well, and will do what I can to support them.
