Buffalo chicken salad on a croissant
Linda N.

You already know I'm coming back!! This is the perfect spot for lunch. I tried the buffalo chicken salad on a croissant with a side of broccoli salad and fruit. At a glance I thought the broccoli salad was going to be a glob but wait a minute I believe it was the star show stopper of the meal! Do not sleep on the buffalo chicken salad I repeat!! It has just enough spice so creamy mmm I wish they were open on Sundays. They have a nice patio in the back overlooking a little pond. Very pristine and ideal to take your mama or family after running errands. Last but not least the complementary buttery cookie they give you is muah chefs kiss. Reminds me of those soft pink frosted cookies with sprinkles that you would get back in grade school.

Menu (without the prices)

Staff is friendly and pleasant. I ordered a Fancy Nancy sandwich with tortilla soup. The sandwich was good and the tortilla soup was GREAT! The soup was very tasty, not spicy at all. The sandwich was a typical chicken sandwich, but I was expecting better since chicken salad sandwich is their speciality. I would come back and maybe try another chicken sandwich.

Place is super cute, and the chicken salad HIT THE SPOT. We weren't sure which chicken salad to get so Dylan offered us samples to try! They have all different types of chicken salad... some with veggies, some without... some with fruit, some savory, some spicy! We can't wait to go back and try other salads. The only reason I'm not giving this place 5 stars is the lack of parking in this strip mall and the lack of seating in this restaurant. We were there today, on a Wednesday at lunch time, and it was crazy busy... the staff took our order without noticing that there weren't any tables available.

THE best chicken salad! You can't go wrong with chicken salad chick. They're always served fresh and their pasta salads are to die for... Even their packaged cookies are good! I always order online and is always ready by the time I pick up. Everyone at this location is very welcoming and friendly.

Great new place in the popular Frisco West Main Street area. Several flavors of Chicken Salad... generous scoops on a sandwich or on the side with crackers. Excellent fresh pimento cheese. Bright new place, clean and great staff. Outside seating in the back. I will be back.

I went a couple of weeks after it opened and it was packed during lunch on a weekday. It took about 15-20 minutes to go through the line and another 5-10 minutes to get the food. Be patient if you go here during peak lunch hours. The Kickin' Kay Lynne could use some more kick to it. The Pasta Salad was bland. The Chicken Tortilla Soup barely had any chicken in it. The Frosted Cookie was painstakingly sweet. The best part about the food was the succulent pickle spear. I don't think I will go back for just the pickle. The price was reasonable but the food didn't live up to all the hype.

Damn, I love Chicken Salad Chick. I love it now that we have a location in Frisco! I've been waiting ever since I moved up from Houston 2 years ago to have one! TADAAAA~~ I love it even better that they're also on Uber Eats. PS:Please bring back Dilliscious Diva XOXO

Yesterday I had the pleasure of going to Chicken Salad Chick on their grand opening day and getting takeout. We had some fresh baked bread at home and decided to try a few of their items as sandwiches. Atmosphere is very welcoming and exciting. I've never been to one of these before and wasn't sure what to expect. But upon entering you go straight to the back of the restaurant where you'll either grab some ready to go items or place an order with a cashier for dine in/takeout. I went to the cooler and grabbed one each of the large containers of Classic Carol, Fancy Nancy, and plain Pimento cheese. Also, their desserts looked pretty good and decided to pick up a few of them to try out....for science. I got a buttercream frosted cookie, a chocolate chip crispy treat, and a slice of key lime pie. Upon packing up my salads, the folks there gave me the perfect amount of crackers to accompany them. My SO is one to prefer the basics, and he had the Classic Carol. This has a very slight touch of celery and a wonderful flavor. He VERY much liked it and said it was a 5/5. I ate the Fancy Nancy with pecans, apples, and seedless grapes. The flavor was outstanding and refreshing. Just the perfect mixture of textures between all of the ingredients. I'm not normally a fruit in my chicken salad person, but I'm excited we're eating this again tonight. 5/5 Before we get to the desserts, we tasted the pimento cheese. This one we weren't 100% on. I really liked the flavor but found the mixture to be quite dry. For the pate of the south, I did not find it to be especially creamy. My SO thought it was too Pimento-y, if that's even a word. This is something we'd most likely skip in the future. 3/5 Now to the desserts. My SO, the official taste tester of key lime pie who is VERY critical, absolutely loved their key lime. He said it had the perfect texture and lime flavor. He would gladly eat this again. We both enjoyed the buttercream frosted cookie. For a cookie that comes pre-packed, it tasted amazingly fresh. As for the chocolate chip crispy treat, perfect pull and softness to the treat but admittedly the chocolate chips somewhat ruined the pillowy experience. While delicious and would absolutely order again if it were plain, I probably wouldn't get this again. Desserts as a whole 4/5 Overall, takeout was a hit. We are super excited to have them in the neighborhood and cannot wait to try more of their food options. So many versions of their chicken salad look delicious and wished there was a big sampler to try a bit of them all. Guess we'll have to keep coming back!

I love a really good chicken salad. My favorite is Kickin' Kay Lynne which is combination of buffalo sauce, ranch, bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, jalapeños, & Sriracha! So good! Anything jalapeño I love. I always walk out with a few.

Think they have new owners. Aren't nearly as friendly and polite as the previous owners. Changes the whole atmosphere.

It was soo delicate but flavorful *morning bun: flaky, cinnamon and sugar.. there's areas of it that are caramelized and has a nice chewiness to it. Worth it. * everything Croix: if you like everything bagel seasoning you'll love. I'd choose the is over a bagel. *pastrami croix: yum! It's a fun take on a pastrami sandwich. I really liked this, I love pastrami and sauerkraut so it was right up my alley *glazed croix: I loved this! My husband thought it was too sweet for his liking but it's like a cronut but better. The croissant is still super buttery and flaky. I will say, you can't eat it pretty lol it's a messy one but I love it * chocolate chip cookie: it was good, I am a thinner cookie person but overall it was good!

The interior isn't big but there are 4 small tables for seating and a bench for waiting. They have sweet and savory morning baked goods - croissants "croix", daily made sourdough flavors, sandwiches, and coffee. The service was great - the cashier was super helpful and gave good honest recommendations. I got a sandwich (mortadella, burrata, pistachio), 3 croix's (strawberry and cream, everything, and pistachio), and a black cold brew. Food came out in about 10 mins (about the time it took to write this review and take a couple pics). Food was really good - bread was super crunchy and everything was very flavorful. Not gonna go in detail. Try it yourself. I promise it's worth waking up at 7am and driving out here! Note - while I didn't get any, I did notice that the sourdough is premade and you get it instantly.

I could not pass up the opportunity to try a Matzo Ball! I have heard about them, but have never actually seen one in the wild. A bowl of Hodgepodge soup for me, with a big surprise. It came with a Kreplach. Livin' on the wild side now. Expanding my culinary horizons. With the soup I ordered one of my favorites, a Lox Bagel. I darn sure know what those are. I have eaten a basket full of those things in my life time. My wife went with the Ruben and potato salad. The Hodgepodge is a hearty bowl of chicken noodle. With a filling, tennis ball sized pastry, the Matzo ball. Plain in taste, surprisingly light in texture. Hiding behind that, the Kreplach. I like those little dumplings. Basically, the equivalent of a Chinese pot sticker. This soup would be good to treat a cold. The Lox Bagel was disappointing, especially for the price. Actually, everything on the menu seemed a little pricey. The Ruben was a good honest portion of beef, packed between two slices of delicious toasted rye. My wife liked it. The potato salad, not so much. Commenting that it was bland in comparison to her preference of potato salad. Order at the counter, your food is delivered. The service was slow, even though the restaurant only had a few diners. Clean bright dining area. I can only assume that the décor duplicates a New York Deli.

That level of hospitality is hard to find these days. As an added bonus, Mike treated us to a complimentary portion of the Brioche Banana Foster French Toast, and it was absolutely outstanding. The brioche was perfectly prepared, and the banana foster topping took it to another level. It was easily one of the best brunch items I've had in a long time. For our main meal, my son and I both ordered the Chicken and Waffles from the brunch menu. It was a perfect 10 out of 10.
