Pot Roast with buttered corn and pinto beans on the side.

Went with Family after Sunday Mass. I ordered Pot Roast with pinto beans and buttered corn as sides. Also, their fluffy pancakes. Their delicious. This is the second time we visited this place since we tried their Veggie omelette and Western omelette during the first time we were here. This place is busy during Sunday lunch. Serving Staff are very friendly and helpful. Nicely decorated and well lighted place where you can have breakfast, Lunch and dinner. They close at 8 pm. Lots of parking space inside this huge Gaylord Stone Briar Mall.

Two visits over about ten days, and Norma's doesn't disappoint. Although their meatloaf could have been better, the fried mushrooms and fried pickles are the best in the area - to the extent I ordered them both times! The service is exceptional and quick. By the way, that biscuit monstrosity is outrageous.

About we got back. Its been far too long. Lots of competition in Collin county for our dining out budget. Posted photos of two yummy plates we got and saved for leftovers.

This cafe has branched out from the original I've been eating at for decades. Fortunately the food is almost as good at all locations. Traditional blue plate cafe grub done right. Complementary rolls and cornbread is a nice touch to get you going. You choose. Chicken fried steak, meat loaf or one of the other usual suspects. Add three sides and your in business. Tonight I had the catfish...very good. Go!

We didn't feel like cooking but we also didn't feel like getting all dressed up for a sit down restaurant and we also did not feel like going to eat a burger at McDonalds or something-- so-- the boyfriend and I ended up at a diner! We were really craving some 59 Diner type of place... (Y'all remember 59 Diner???) So we found Norma's Diner! Perfect??? A good old American classic-- and I would have thought so because of the old vintage decor and everything on the walls right? Wrong-- Norma's was missing the most quintessential diner items-- THE MILKSHAKE. We asked if they had all the separate ingredients, and they did, but then the server said that she could make a milkshake, she just didn't know what t he price would be. And it being Frisco, I didn't want to pay $15 for a milkshake....you never know these days..... The fried mushrooms were perfect. The bread for the table was cold and hard like hockey pucks. The chicken in the terazzini was dry, but the sauce and noodles are creamy delicious. The catfish was perfect. The sides were just ok. I feel the greens come from a can and the black eyed peas need bacon in it. The pies in the ase looked old especially the lemon merengue. I know we came in looking for a diner greasy spoon all American experience, but it didn't really hit. LOL??? 3 stars for the servers good attitude and the mushrooms and catfish. Otherwise it would be a 2 or below.

Good values with all the food options. Flavor was ok, best pick was catfish from all we ordered. Some food didn't warm up all the way through. Server only got you seated and drink and never got back till you ready to pay.

    Yay! We are here!

Great nostalgic 50's style diner! Norma's offers American classic dishes. Service was impeccably great! Our server broke down our options & I decided on the chicken fried steak (double dipped). The blue plates come with 3 sides & red plates have 2 sides. My wife & I tried the large slice of homemade apple pie! Yum!!! The cornbread & fresh hot rolls rock! I got some to go! Plenty of parking & nice sano restrooms. The dining area consists of both tables & chairs with nice comfy booths. Nice staff & fresh hot food! Bring an appetite & leave room for dessert! You'll be glad you did!

This place is home-style and Southern comfort goodness. The fried chicken salad is large and fresh. On the side - fried mushrooms. Highly recommend both! Don't miss out on the rolls - just like home!

Our server Khrista was amazing. Our food came out really fast and man that meat loaf was good. The location is convenient if you are shopping in the Stonebriar area. Also they have a great veteran special too all year!!

Apple pie with vanilla bean ice cream

Only had the apple pie with ice cream. Never tasted salty apple until now! The crust was flaky and the apples looked fresh. The ice cream helped save the day.

    Onion ring and chicken

Ok people I suggest that you save your money and go somewhere else. We were greeted with a beautiful smile and our waitress was very polite and friendly. Service is slow. Took them about 45 minutes for food . Order chicken sandwich that was over cooked to the point that it was just hard skin with bread. Onion rings were saturated with oil and no breading. Such a disappointment. Place was very nicely decorated with nostalgia. Sorry won't come again

    Dressing.

We ordered a thanksgiving dinner from Normas like we have done for the past 5years . This year it was just awful... The grandkids always love the dressing and roll's which were the worst. The rolls were stale and the dressing was barely edible. It appeared it was not mixed and was burnt. The ONLY thing that was wasn't awful were the mashed potatoes, pie and sweet teas. The really disappointing thing was we had no options and were stuck with the mess we received.

I went to Normas once off Dallas Tollway. Today was my first time in Frisco and my second visit to Normas overall. I got the breakfast burritos. They come with egg and sausage. I asked if they could put cheddar cheese on them and it was horrible. There was WAY too much cheese. I felt like I got a cheese burrito. I took one bite of solid cheese. I didn't even eat one of them. I just left. Also I wanted hash browns, like cubed potatoes and they don't serve them that way. Maybe it was just a one off. I might go again. You get a single paper napkin too wrapped around your utensils for the whole meal.

The pancakes are fluffy, fresh, and full of flavor. The coffee is amazing too. Everything tastes high quality and worth the wait. The café is always busy, which says a lot about how good it is. One thing we really loved is that they even have kiosk ordering, which reminded us of Japan. You can also place your order ahead of time for pickup, which makes everything so convenient. The space is beautifully decorated with a Thai jungle vibe, which makes for a fun and immersive atmosphere. Ordering is done via QR code at the table, and water is self-serve, so it feels a bit more casual and less service driven. The dinner menu was smaller than expected, with fewer than 10 main entrée options and a heavier focus on desserts and specialty drinks. That said, the Malay shrimp curry was excellent--rich and flavorful. However, for $21, it was a bit disappointing that it didn't come with any vegetables. The Mango Soufflé Pancake was a standout dessert--light, unique, and delicious--but at $20, it's more of a splurge than a casual add-on. One thing to note: there's a 10% automatic gratuity added to all orders (listed as a service charge in small print on the menu).

Even better right?? Well welcome to Parks Coffee! I've driven past this place so many times on PGBT that I googled them and saw they offered tours. So I immediately booked one and have to say it was well worth the cost. You get to see the behind the scenes and understand more about the process of making coffee. There is even a tour you can request in which you can roast your own bag (details on their website as it may change from when I post this). At the end of the tour you get to try a sampling of their single origin coffees that are paired with bite size pastries from a local bakery, La Casita, that were delicious! The pairings really brought out the notes in the coffee and even I felt like a coffee sommelier! Plus after the tour you get a discount at the coffee shop and it applies to their sweet shirts. Overall I highly recommend checking them out and taking the tour. Their coffees were great and the tour was enlightening.

I ordered the Les Omelette and chose my own toppings, hands down, the best omelette I've ever had. You can really taste how fresh everything is. I also tried the dulce de leche latte, which sounded amazing, but I didn't really catch the flavor, so it wasn't my favorite. Still, the food alone made it a great first visit and had me wanting to come back. I returned on 1/23 and decided to finally try a crepe and that's saying something, because I had a bad experience with crepes elsewhere that made me swear them off. I went with the Philly cheesesteak crepe, and it was delicious. It comes with a spring mix salad, which isn't really my thing, but the crepe itself was absolutely worth it. I also had a mango mimosa, which was really good. The second time I was there, the owner was on site and I got to meet him, super friendly and genuinely welcoming.
