Took my toddler son to Dillas for lunch for some father and son bonding! We dined in, and I really liked the layout of the Restaurant. It was up to date and very clean. I also appreciated that despite it being a chain, they added elements of the Frisco community as part of their layout. The staff was very friendly and the menu had a variety of options that sounded delicious. Ultimately, I went with a regular Founders combo meal, and a kids meal cheese quesadilla. This QSR concept looked like a cook to flow, so it might take a little longer to get your food, but it was well worth the wait for the quesadilla because it was delicious! It was packed with flavor, and had a good toast on the tortilla. I would highly recommended getting the founder with chicken, might try it with steak next time. Now, for a QSR, it is a bit pricey and a combo all included is about $14 - $18 depending on the type of quesadillas you get, with brisket option being more expensive. You can get a gorillas combo, which is closer to $20 -$25 dollars, which is steep. The quesadillas itself is worth the premium pricing, and the fries were good, be it a little over seasoned, yet it did not seem like you get that many, more like a handfulI for a combo and kids meal. I was not a fan of the sauce that accompanied the quesadillas which was the creamy churry. It did not have much of a punch with its flavor and the consistency of the sauce was very watery, and not as thick as sauces at other QSR concepts. To compensate, I did get a side of queso sauce for dipping, and their queso was fire!! Overall, I was still left hungry, and don't know if I would want to spend $20+ for a larger combo. I do plan on coming back as I do want try their other quesadilla menu options, as they do them very well, but I would probably just get it by itself rather than a combo going forward. That is in my opinion the best value way to experience Dillas! read more

Don't order the Primo nachos. They are more like Temu nachos.. any nachos at Taco Bell are better than these. The advertise picture on the menu and what's on their app. Definitely does not match what they give you. The RATIO of toppings to nachos is not equal. Please see my picture for reference. There are more nachos than anything on this plate. They allow you to get two toppings one meat and one nacho cheese. It's like getting nachos at the movie theater. You'll need to get an extra cheese lol Any extra toppings you want they charge you extra With my order, I requested pico and hatch peppers When I got home I had to assemble my plate. All toppings, including meat and nacho sauce came pre-packed in a tiny containers. my nachos were looking pretty sad And to top it off, my nacho chips were stale AF. This is strictly for take out. We ordered close to $200 worth of box sizes with a variety of flavors, brisket, hat hatch chile, buffalo chicken and something else. The meat chunks were substantial but everything was really salty. Perhaps it's because there's a large quantity of bacon in all the choices we had but it was a bit much. Other huge draw back is they never gave us the sauces which I hear is a big element of the flavor. It's too bad we spent that much and didn't get everything. So i've been to Dillas a few times and I can confidently say, when it's good, it's SO GOOD!! When it's not, it's a bummer. My favorite quesadilla here, BY FAR, is the BEAST! Sadly it's a limited time only/dillas madness seasonal offer so it's not on the menu year round, but whenever it is, I absolutely take advantage! The first time I tried The Beast, it was absolutely PERFECT. LOADED with so much cheese, brisket, fries, bacon, jalepenos, hatch chilies, queso, and the GLORIOUS jalepeno ranch on the side. I also had a side of guac sauce (SO GOOD), and french fries. The fries were hot, fresh, and so well seasoned. It really was such a great meal that exceeded all of my expectations. I was completely blown away and SO HAPPY to go back and have it again. So I came back the next week and sadly, it wasn't as good as the first time. The toppings weren't as plentiful, fries were just okay, and while it was still good for what it was, it just wasn't the same. Meanwhile, a year later, I was able to have The Beast the other day and it was just as good as it was the first time I tried it! So after evaluating my experiences here, I think my main problem with Dillas is the inconsistency. Some days it's awesome, some days it's just okay. The absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced this evening. Attention Jacob Shockley, General Manager upon entry we asked about the type of meats available? The girl behind the counter just pointed to her back and said they're right there. We figured it out and then inquired as to what size of quesadillas were available and again she pointed to behind her. We mentioned that we had no idea where she was pointing...she thought it funny. I ordered half chicken and half ground beef and she immediately said we can't do that. The other lady came out and confirmed "you" couldn't do it. We weren't even offered the opportunity to pay more??? I've never given a review this bad and suppose the reason why the restaurant is always empty is your approach to customer service. I was at Dillas today, and let me tell you, I am not usually a fan of Tex-mex food here in the metroplex. However, I was served by a lovely lady named Furyha, and the service that I received was beyond incredible. I had the Chicken Hot Hatch with chips and corn salad! I was so awestruck by the food that I had to thank the person who made the food, and that's when I met the truly amazing young woman named Niyeli. She was so sweet and thoughtful. Let me say this, Dillas is going to be the type of place that I go to when I'm in need of comfort because that's what their food and their staff provided me today. But their prices and portions is getting a bit ridiculous. We usually order the gorilla size (the regular looks like an appetizer) and make it a meal with drinks and 2 sides, I like their fries so I like to always order double fries, and what I got was what looked like one serving....and $19.25 later for that one meal. Since my woman is a quesadilla junkie I decided to take her here. You can order from a number of different quesadilla or just make your own. I had The Founders while my sexy boo customized her own. Both were really good....a big thing for me is that the food was served HOT like right off the grill. Neither had too much cheese and they were not great... Just yum and fresh.
