We haven't been to fuzzies in years. On a whim, when we were headed to a different restaurant, we turned into the parking lot and decided to grab some nachos. Other than the fact that the cashier could not serve margaritas, everything was wonderful. The nachos were as good as we remembered. The only drawback is that the original fish taco is no longer showing on the menu, and you have to act like a knucklehead by asking if they still have it, etc. Fortunately, they did have it, and it was perfect. I was staying in Plano on a weekend trip and needed a place to pick up some quick breakfast tacos. Saw the generally positive reviews, had limited options and the location was convenient. My first red flag was that there was no build your own breakfast taco option when ordering online. That meant that I had to pick an existing taco and add/remove things, resulting in a higher price than if I could just build it myself. But I was in a hurry so whatever. Pick up the tacos and look in the bag. No salsa. Just some tubes of Taco Bell style taco sauce. Neither hot sauce (although it was called that) nor fresh salsa. So I asked for some and the guy seemed confused: "you mean real salsa?". The guy started trying to ring me up to BUY real salsa so I said never mind and walked out. Been buying tacos in Texas for 20+ years and never been made to pay for salsa to go on a taco. Food was decent for what it is. The location was not busy. We walked right in and placed our order. Some of the tacos are half priced on Tuesdays...the fish/shrimp tacos and specialty tacos were not half price. The food was delivered to our table quickly. The food was fresh and we enjoyed our tacos ( shrimp and fajita chicken tacos), chips and guacamole. The customer service was also good and helpful. My friend ordered the Shrimp taco's which consists of Grilled shrimp served on a soft corn tortilla and topped with garlic sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, shredded cheese, cilantro, and feta. while I ordered the Spicy pork served on a soft corn tortilla and topped with garlic sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, shredded cheese, cilantro, and feta. 2019 Yelp 120 Challenge #77 My very first experience with Fuzzy's Taco Shop was pretty good. I ordered their shredded chicken nachos with no chips and instead I got regular saggy nachos. Yuck! Luckily my hand band brought extra Fuzzy chips. I decided to give this Fuzzy's location a second chance. This time I ordered my lunch her. Chicken Nacho's with nacho's on the side and chips and Queso to share with my coworkers. Unfortunately, when I went to pick up my food . I didn't notice that my chips and quest were missing until I retuned to work 15 minutes later. I was so disappointed because I tried to give this location another chance but, they refuse to pay attention to simple details. I called to inform the manager that they did not include my chips and quest and they just said that they would give me chips and queso on my next visit. I wasn't driving another 15 minutes just to pick up something that should have been in my order the entire time. For being the first time in years, I gotta say the place looks the same (vibrant with colorful colors) the vive is nice and fun. Too cold to sit outside the patio, although I do gotta say it looked quite inviting! I have to brag about the cashier (did not her name) Host:AM cashier 2 1:13pm 20095. She should be the mascot for Fuzzy's Tacos! She gave us an AMAZING welcome, I have never ever had that type of fun and full of energy welcome at a place like this. I even commented about her great personality and that she made us smile. The reason I am giving them a 5 star vs a 3 is based ONLY IN SERVICE and response from staff when a problem took place. We ordered the Burrito Bowl - Fajita Chicken, which comes with black beans/Cilantro Lime Rice. I asked fir all three sauces, Chimichurri/Sour Cream/Avicado with Cream sauce/reg House Salsa. I had to ask her to please allow me to change it because I was not satisfied with the chicken (to me it's either a low grade chicken or most likely chicken fillers). It was way too chewy and no white meat at all. She immediately apologized and took it back asked me what I wanted instead, I asked her for the beef. She immediately placed the order and asked me if I wanted anything else while I waited on my food, she offered chips and I agreed. They are quite nicely they come hot and sprinkled with their rub. When I got my Burrito Bowl (beef), I had a few bites, it was better than the first one, but I still don't think they use the right stuff. So I gave it to my Hubby and he traded his Ground beef Nachos (what was left of them. We would go back but we would opt out their burrito bowls. Honestly the cilantro was a bit off, not syr if the kitchen staff washed it properly bc when I bit into the burrito bowl it was like bitting on prices of sand.
