Chicken Pomodori sandwich
Aaron O.

Super tasty breads - excellent. My wife and I came through while tonight and tried their 2 for 6.99 deal after seeing it on instagram and I was really impressed. I tried the beef sandwich, which was basically an elevated version of a traditional roast beef sandwich, but with a nice sauce and some crunchy bits on top. I also tried their shrimp scampi pasta, which was my personal favorite. Very buttery, the tomatoes had a lovely sweetness, and the shrimp were juicy too. The place was mostly empty when we arrived for an early dinner but filled up quick! The service was solid and helpful and they got everything out pretty quickly - roughly 12 min or so from order to table. We loved the deal especially...we'll be coming back to try more of the sandwiches and pastas, and kudos to corner bakery for running these deals and giving us a great excuse to get out and try something new :)

Bacon & Cheddar Panini & large iced truffle mocha

You're greeted with such a warm welcome the moment you walk in. The service is always fast, my order is always accurate, and you can tell every meal is made with care. My go-to is the bacon and cheese panini with a side of their incredible salsa, paired with an iced truffle mocha... it's absolutely amazing!

Chicken noodle soup

Disgusting this place has gone downhill ordered a chicken noodle soup and got mushy paste you can't even make out what's in it. It tastes cheesy and not like a soup. Never again. Gross.

entry way was even dirty

first off I wanna say something positive about the pancakes... The pancakes were so yummy and so fluffy. This establishment was by far the most dirtiest. I almost walked out when I went inside the bathroom and saw a mass destruction of diarrhea around the toilet seat in the women's bathroom. The are so dirty throughout the restaurant, the tables were all filled with crumbs, so you know none of the tables were wiped down as well. The were really dark, but you can tell they were cleaned in a while and the carpet that was there was so so disgustingly dirty. I don't even know how this establishment can get away with being this unclean. It seemed like a health risk being there.

Dental work today so I have soup for lunch. I guess everything is expensive now. $7.69 for a cup of soup, and $3.59 for a small drink. They are not very busy at lunch. Sad I missed the $7 panini by a day or 2. That would have been a good value. Surprised at the wait for a cup of soup....was hoping it came with bread. It didn't. Wondering how the soup is made. Chunks of potatoes were firm and super hot. Hotter than the rest of the soup. Order it with no green onion because they overpower the taste. It's good. Relaxing place.

Breakfast Basket from Corner Bakery!

Corner Bakery in Burbank is one of the businesses that not only has great food, but also is giving back to the community. Thank you Raffi & Zohra for breakfast donation for Teacher Appreciation Week. Our staff enjoyed every bite of it!

We were on our way in traffic and needed to make a pit stop. On walking in, I am not familiar with the area yet it seems like this is a local chain that gives vibes like Panera would? The staff were friendly yet were in training so it took a bit to get our drinks (salted caramel lattes) and they were worth it :)

A bit of a fav of ours from past visits so thought we have breaky here this morning Nothings changed service is good food is a reasonable sized serving and coffee is good ( serve yourself form vac pumps ) This time was disappointing as the food was barely warm and the potatoes were actually cold , not sure how you achieve that other than letting it sit unattended for to long Will be back but not rushing

every day since the last time i updated the review (still one star by the way). the link that @terance c. posted doesnt work . clearly youre not taking this seriously and i hope the other yelpers reading this dont stop and eat at this establishment. they serve you moldy pastries the manager doesnt apologize and the owner plays games . save your time and money and go somewhere else.

Had the Ruben sandwich and it was delicious, the only bad thing about this Corner Bakery is the parking.

Don't waste your time. The food is edible, but so blah and overpriced for what it is.

Not a huge fan. My stomach always feels a little upset after eating here. It's something about the eggs, I think.

The space has a really interesting look and feel that sets it apart and makes it a cool place to hang out. The drinks were fun and creative, although they were just okay for me. We also tried some of the food, which was fine but didn't really stand out. I didn't get a picture of the food, unfortunately! Overall, I think Klaveras is worth checking out if you're looking for a place with a different atmosphere and a fun setting to catch up with friends. The vibe and decor were definitely the highlight for me.

Food was beyond sub par you can make the food at home and would taste better! Save your money. Everything we had from two orders of "taquitos", "esquite", quesadillas and a blood orange mojito. The only thing with a bit of flavor was the esquite, but again to pay for roasted corn on the cob with just mayo and cheese? For $13 ? NEVER AGAIN. I have a problem with the way they name their items which is a bit misleading. For example, they have an item called taquitos, meaning you would expect a rolled fried taquitos. What came was tacos dorados so why is it named taquitos? They DID write on the menu that it's fried tacos..but again why are they not just calling it TACOS DORADOS? Same with esquite typically esquites are corn off the cob but this was on the COBB and yes it was described on the menu as on the Cobb but again why not call it ELOTE instead of esquite. Clearly this is semantics but just frustrating. If you want authentic Mexican food there is a Don Cuco's around the block that is WAY better than this place. They are at a different tier than this Kalavera's location. If you're a drinker perhaps that would make the food taste better...so disappointed and a waste of money!

We live…read moreabout an hour away with traffic, so this was going to be a whole day mission for us The day before, we were looking at the menu and couldn't decide what to get because everything looked so good. Since we were already making the trip to Burbank, we decided to be crazy and come for breakfast AND dinner. And we did just that! For breakfast, I got the steak and eggs, my husband got the eggs, sausage and ham, and we shared a Belgian waffle. Everything was delicious! Our server was extremely nice and friendly (I unfortunately didn't catch his name). Everyone seemed like a regular, and he was chatting with everyone, which was so nice to see. We even told him we'd be back for dinner! We explored Burbank for the day and came back for dinner. I got the Philly cheesesteak and my husband got the burger and fries. Everything was just as delicious! I even burned my mouth because I wasn't patient and took a huge bite which honestly just proves the food comes out hot and fresh! We'll definitely be back! Great food and great service!

Disappointing, Overpriced, and Barely Effortful- We drove out of our way with the whole family…read moreafter a great day at the museum, expecting a classic retro experience based on past reviews. What we got was an incredibly underwhelming, overpriced letdown from start to finish. The service was sluggish and merely mediocre, but the food was the real shock--it looked completely different from any photos on their menu or online. When our meals arrived, the portion sizes were almost comical. Each plate came with an astonishingly skimpy pile of maybe 10 to 15 tiny fries, and my burger was barely larger than a slider. My daughter's milk chocolate shake was served in a tiny 8-ounce plastic cup--not very 1950s diner-esque, to say the least. Even worse, my daughter's chicken sandwich looked so suspect that we had to conduct a detailed examination to ensure it wasn't raw or pink in the middle. The table itself was noticeably dirty and grimy, and the ketchup bottle on the table was downright gross. Believe it or not, the garlic wings were actually very good, but that was the sole bright spot in an otherwise sketchy meal. Maybe we caught them on an off day, but for these prices, that shouldn't matter. Save your time and money--think twice before coming here because we certainly won't be back. Also the prices on the menu are very inaccurate!
