I usually go to Shake Shack for their Shakes. They have some of the best shakes in town. They are not too sweet and taste really good. They have kiosks which makes the ordering easy. If you're using credit/ debit cards, I would recommend using the kiosk to avoid the line. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This location is usually not that busy during lunch time, but it gets really busy in the evening.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There are a lot of pick up/ delivery orders which makes the wait time longer. [[HIGHLIGHT]]For ambiance, this location has plenty of tables and it is clean and well maintained.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Also, the restrooms are clean too.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This location is street parking only and there is public parking in walking distance.

One of our family's favorite places to grab burgers! When you walk in, you can order at one of the kiosks, which makes the process quick and easy. We always go with the Shackburgers and fries. You can order your burger with a gluten free bun or lettuce wrap. The crinkly fries are good and you can add cheese and bacon. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They also have TVs that are usually playing sports games.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I recommend downloading the app if you want to order ahead or get some of the promos. If you dine in, they bring the food to your table. The service was friendly and the staff were checking in to see if we needed anything.

Dropped by on a weekend afternoon. Theres street parking but also a free parking structure less than a minute walk. Nice spot and well maintained! Adam assisted us and was really helpful and attentive to our food allergy and dietary restrictions. Adam also brought food to our table. Great service! I ordered the Carolina BBQ Burger and crinkle fries with a drink which happened to be a pride cup. Love that! For my drink I tried the Seagram's ginger ale. Tried the bbq sauce and honey mustard sauces with the fries. Both were really good. I like how the mustard is more mustard than honey and the bbq is not as sweet as other burger spot sauces. The Carolina BBQ Burger was really good. Juicy and full of flavor. Thank you!

I stopped by Shake Shack tonight to get a soda since the restaurant we ate at CO2 tank was emptied so the soda was flat. Shack Shack is currently having a deal where a small drink is only a dollar if you order off the mobile app so I took advantage of that. When I was checking out, I looked at my reward and I had one for a free sandwich so I got the chicken shack. I walked to Shake Shack from where we were at which wasn't far. The chicken shack wasn't ready yet but I saw my drink on the counter so I asked if I could get it while I wait. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They were not busy tonight so they had a lot of open seating inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My coke was delicious, I took the chicken shack home. My mom ate it and she thought it was good.

I still remember when Shake Shack opened its very first store in SoCal which was in WeHo. I also remember that we probably waited in line for about an hour just to get the first taste of their burger. Fast forward many years after, SS now have so many branches across SoCal. We now have one in Burbank which I probably visited twice already. I had their shack burger and chicken bites. They still taste good but I can't get past the issue with customer service. It's almost nonexistent even if it's not busy. They refuse to ring up your order and ask you instead to use the ordering kiosk.

We wanted a quick bite before we wandered the jackalope art fair right outside. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have such dim lighting and closed/shaded windows in here, it almost felt like they were closed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They now have self ordering kiosks to place your order but they are EXTREMELY slow and laggy and very unresponsive. It takes a lot of patience for this one lol. Once you're ready to check out, they tell you to "grab a table number" but there were literally none around the kiosk except by the one on the second to farthest end. It wasn't even stacked, they were kinda just tossed around it seemed like. Food came out quick and maybe I just wasn't feeling it that day but the cheeseburger didn't hit for me. I actually didn't really like the taste and needed to get ranch to hopefully make it better, which it kinda did but I still couldn't finish it. Not sure why since we typically enjoy shake shack in general. Parking around here is awful since it's in downtown Burbank but they do have a parking structure if you get lucky on a non-busy day. Wish there were more closer to us and hoping they bring back the Korean bbq flavored burgers. Those were fantastic! IG: @ammysalamii

    Food

I ordered food and it was a higher amount than I was originally told. Only to find out they took a $2 from my purchase I did NOT authorize!!! THEY'LL TELL YOU IT IS ONE PRICE THEN CHARGE YOU A DIFFERENT! DON'T GO HERE! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance was nice though.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

First time visiting Burbank location of Shake Shack. The eatery is located right on the corner and plenty of parking spots available in the plaza. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Shake Shack is very welcoming and lots of tables and chairs for dining. It's bright inside and also spacious.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You can do self order from the kiosk or order at the counter with cashier. Adam provided excellent customer service from the beginning of our transaction until the end. He took our order and also delivered them to our table. Thank you Adam! He also checked in on us to see if we needed anything. We had such a positive experience at this Shake Shack Burbank location. The Shake Shack Burgers, crispy cut fries and Orange Creamsicle were all on point and delicious. We ordered Shake Shack Burger both single and double stack, Carolina BBQ Burger and crispy cut fries. The burgers were all tender and cooked with the right amount of temperature. The meat was not over cooked. The crispy cut fries were definitely crispy. Carolina BBQ Burger was flavorful and not tangy. Will definitely frequent this location more often as we enjoyed our visit here along with the excellent customer service provided.

I tried the limited offer BBQ Boneless BBQ Rib sandwich bec the store pics looked really good but when it arrived at my table I thought they gave me the wrong item. Compare the pics and see for yourself.

Overall Experience: I think Shake Shack is good, however the price and portion makes it difficult for me to really love this place. I'll give it more of a 3.5. I do love it when they give promos like bogo or deals that's when I'll make it out here. Food: Everything is solid. I think the burgers here are more simple like a smash burger. Portion Size: Leans more towards the smaller size. Service: Generally, everyone here is cool and nice. Ambiance: [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plenty of seats and clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Presentation: Food always looks and comes out good. Parking Situation: There is public parking available for the area and you can just walk over.

$1.45 extra for a scant amount of crispy onions .... lol
    Daryl L.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry... I ordered a double shack cheeseburger with no lettuce or tomato. I paid extra for the hot peppers and $1.45 for crispy onions. When the burger arrived, I opened it and was surprised to see maybe 4 little pieces of crispy onion .... I got that for $1.45? See the photo ..... would that be considered price gouging?

It's a shake shack. Had their SmokeShack burger for the first time. It comes with cheese, bacon, and chopped peppers. It came out quickly and tasted fresh with a soft bun.

    Jason L.

First time having Shake Shack and first time having smash burger. Ordered the Shack Stack which adds the portobello mushroom + muenster/cheddar into the normal cheeseburger. Added pickles and onions as well. Initial impressions are that the mushroom 'patty' was so small in comparison to the burger. There was slight crisp to the breading but the mushroom itself was bland. The muenster/cheddar combination was gooey and plentiful; paired well with the fries. 5/10 The patty itself didn't have the crispness I expected from all the smashburger hype. Also not very flavorful either. 6/10 The single tomato and single sliver of lettuce was sad. 2/10 Pickles were very solid, if I am able to ask for more, it would be perfect as it cuts the heaviness of the meal. 10/10 Fries were very solid, I never really get crispy crinkle cut fries but theirs were nice. Could've been salted a little more. 9/10 Ordered at the kiosk and they dropped it off at my table. Service was friendly. Place was clean. Price: $18.17 for this, yeah no thank you. I'll go to a local mom and pop instead. Overall: not bad for a chain, but the price is quite high for what you get.

The one bright spot of the evening was our host, Sophia. She was welcoming, friendly, and made us feel genuinely appreciated from the moment we walked in. She provided the level of hospitality I expect from Islands. Unfortunately, everything after we were seated went downhill. We started with the spinach artichoke dip, which arrived extremely runny and lacked any real flavor. Even the "secret seasoning" couldn't improve it. It was not something I would order again. I ordered the Longboarder Burger and was equally disappointed. The bun had a strong, stale odor that made it seem as though it had absorbed the smell of a pantry shelf or had been sitting far past its prime. The smell was so off-putting that I had to take the burger apart and eat only the patty. Even then, the patty itself was underwhelming, lacking both quality and flavor. For a restaurant known for its burgers, this was unacceptable. Our server, whose name I don't recall, was absent for most of the evening. While I understand restaurants get busy, being busy shouldn't come at the expense of basic attentiveness. On more than one occasion, she appeared too rushed to fully listen to what we were saying. At one point, my partner was still in the middle of speaking when she simply walked away before he had finished his sentence. That left us feeling dismissed rather than cared for. I've always associated Islands with consistently good food and friendly service, which is why this experience was so disappointing. Sophia, the hostess, delivered excellent hospitality, but the food quality and the service we received after being seated fell well below the standard I expect from this restaurant. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because based on this visit, I would hesitate to return.
