I usually go to Shake Shack for their Shakes. They have some of the best shakes in town. They are not too sweet and taste really good. They have kiosks which makes the ordering easy. If you're using credit/ debit cards, I would recommend using the kiosk to avoid the line. This location is usually not that busy during lunch time, but it gets really busy in the evening. There are a lot of pick up/ delivery orders which makes the wait time longer. For ambiance, this location has plenty of tables and it is clean and well maintained. Also, the restrooms are clean too. Got a to-go order for three shake shack (their signature) burgers, fries, and a large size coke. Upon arrival, there was one cashier who was struggling to take orders from an old couple. So someone else from the kitchen came out to help with pick up window. Therefore, total time spent to go in and pick up the food was about 5mins. What came down to give 3/5 stars was the food taste. It felt like the food quality has gone down from the time when they first opened. Maybe the sauce was overpowering the meat and cheese? Maybe the meat got cold too fast? Something didn't feel right. The more I took a bite, I just wasn't satisfied. The fries were slightly on the soggy side vs crispy. Maybe I should've asked to cook longer? I don't know exactly what it was but I wasn't happy with my food overall. However, paying only $1 for large size coke was amazing! One of our family's favorite places to grab burgers! When you walk in, you can order at one of the kiosks, which makes the process quick and easy. We always go with the Shackburgers and fries. You can order your burger with a gluten free bun or lettuce wrap. The crinkly fries are good and you can add cheese and bacon. They also have TVs that are usually playing sports games. I recommend downloading the app if you want to order ahead or get some of the promos. If you dine in, they bring the food to your table. Dropped by on a weekend afternoon. Theres street parking but also a free parking structure less than a minute walk. Nice spot and well maintained! I stopped by Shake Shack tonight to get a soda since the restaurant we ate at CO2 tank was emptied so the soda was flat. Shack Shack is currently having a deal where a small drink is only a dollar if you order off the mobile app so I took advantage of that. When I was checking out, I looked at my reward and I had one for a free sandwich so I got the chicken shack. I walked to Shake Shack from where we were at which wasn't far. I still remember when Shake Shack opened its very first store in SoCal which was in WeHo. I also remember that we probably waited in line for about an hour just to get the first taste of their burger. Fast forward many years after, SS now have so many branches across SoCal. We now have one in Burbank which I probably visited twice already. I had their shack burger and chicken bites. They still taste good but I can't get past the issue with customer service. We wanted a quick bite before we wandered the jackalope art fair right outside. They have such dim lighting and closed/shaded windows in here, it almost felt like they were closed. They now have self ordering kiosks to place your order but they are EXTREMELY slow and laggy and very unresponsive. It takes a lot of patience for this one lol. Once you're ready to check out, they tell you to "grab a table number" but there were literally none around the kiosk except by the one on the second to farthest end. It wasn't even stacked, they were kinda just tossed around it seemed like. Food came out quick and maybe I just wasn't feeling it that day but the cheeseburger didn't hit for me. I actually didn't really like the taste and needed to get ranch to hopefully make it better, which it kinda did but I still couldn't finish it. Not sure why since we typically enjoy shake shack in general. Parking around here is awful since it's in downtown Burbank but they do have a parking structure if you get lucky on a non-busy day. First time visiting Burbank location of Shake Shack. The eatery is located right on the corner and plenty of parking spots available in the plaza. Shake Shack is very welcoming and lots of tables and chairs for dining. It's bright inside and also spacious. You can do self order from the kiosk or order at the counter with cashier. Adam provided excellent customer service from the beginning of our transaction until the end. He took our order and also delivered them to our table. Thank you Adam! He also checked in on us to see if we needed anything. We had such a positive experience at this Shake Shack Burbank location. The Shake Shack Burgers, crispy cut fries and Orange Creamsicle were all on point and delicious. We ordered Shake Shack Burger both single and double stack, Carolina BBQ Burger and crispy cut fries. Conveniently located in beautiful Downtown Burbank (as Mr. Jay Leno used to say) this is a pretty cool Shake Shack. Not sure if it was because of the layout or what but it was one of the most spacious locations we have been to. Plenty of seating inside and some outside which makes it fun to enjoy a bite to eat and people watch. My husband and I were up for the Burbank Wine Walk and decide to go in to grab a snack. Love they have plenty of screens to order from plus the normal cash register if the screen ordering is not your thing (or you are like my Mom and paying cash). We bought some fries and a can of the Shack red wine. Fries are always awesome, perfectly salted and hot and fresh. The wine was surprisingly awesome as well. We sat for a bit and watched one of the many tv's they had on (I watched SpongeBob). The staff was amazing, so nice and welcoming from the moment you walk in and even a bye and pleasant greetings when you leave. They want you to order via the screens that are there so the one cashier doesn't stay at their spot at the register. As if we don't have enough screen time in life already. Then the screens to order are laggy AF. The people there aren't very bright or social so good luck getting any questions answered. The food was as expected. Nothing really special. We went to this Shake Shack at 5pm for dinner on a Friday night - it was empty and quiet which is what we prefer. The only downside was the tablets for ordering were very hard to use and you can't customize your food with them - so we just ordered at the counter. Food came out fast! Burgers were fine and as we expected, fries were extra crispy and very good. We were shocked they had decent gluten free buns as well - and they were not the ones that fall apart! My fiancé greatly enjoyed his burger with the GF bun. Kind of hate how the ordering is now all digital. That's my one boomer complaint. We came around 1pm on a weekday, and it wasn't crowded at all so we got our food fairly quickly. I ordered their Truffle Burger special, I think it's a limited seasonal item? It looked SO voluminous in their photo, but the actual burger was nowhere near that LOL. Added pickles and onions as well. Initial impressions are that the mushroom 'patty' was so small in comparison to the burger. There was slight crisp to the breading but the mushroom itself was bland. The muenster/cheddar combination was gooey and plentiful; paired well with the fries. 5/10 The patty itself didn't have the crispness I expected from all the smashburger hype. Also not very flavorful either. 6/10 The single tomato and single sliver of lettuce was sad. 2/10 Pickles were very solid, if I am able to ask for more, it would be perfect as it cuts the heaviness of the meal. 10/10 Fries were very solid, I never really get crispy crinkle cut fries but theirs were nice. Could've been salted a little more. 9/10 Ordered at the kiosk and they dropped it off at my table. Service was friendly. Place was clean. Price: $18.17 for this, yeah no thank you. If I recall correctly it's been a while since I ate in Shake Shack. We use to go here pre pandemic and I notice a couple of new things on the menu. Of course, the contactless kiosk is a new addition too but if you're paying cash like what we did you still need to go to the cashier to have that option. Same yummy burgers on soft buns freshly made as you order but the price is the main difference from years ago. I like the frozen hot chocolate shake due to the fact it doesn't leave a bitter aftertaste and not too sweet it pairs perfectly with my sroom burger. I tried the cheeseburger and my husband had the chicken sandwich. We both thought it was great and went back the next day just to make sure it was as good as we thought. At the corner of the street, hard to miss. Parking is available a short block away in the parking structure or right next to the restaurant with limited slots if you are lucky. There are self processing stations where you can order off a tablet. If you like to do it old school, they have a counter to order in person. When the order is ready, they will either bring it to you or call your name. Simple and sweet. The burgers are fantastic, some would say that in-n-out is better... I would argue... but to each their own. The patty is thicker and the bread just melts in your mouth. The cheese fries.... those are a must add-on. They change their drinks seasonally and I love that. However, when I got back to my car some of my order was incomplete. I should have double checked everything with the cashier, but I did not. I ordered a double shack burger and only received a single and noticed ah unpleasant piece of brown lettuce. I also ordered their chicken nuggets and didn't receive the sauce with my order. We walked in, ordered from the kiosk, and within minutes, I had delicious smooth velvety custard. We sit down and observe a man who is lying down on his back, looking at the back of the television they have mounted on the wall. After a few minutes, he announces, "Get ready for this!" And then proceeds to yell out "aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh." A few moments later, one of the employees asked him to leave and escorted him to the door.
