I havent been to Del Taco in over 2 years. We decided to stop in late after a concert to pick up a bite. The drive line in the drive thru was quick and everything went smoothly. We received ALL of our food and it was hot... and the fries didn't taste like they had been sitting there forever. The guy at the window was pleasant and asked us if we needed any hot sauce. The Combo Burrito was good as were the Chicken Soft Tacos. Considering that it is fast food, I was very satisfied, it definitely hit the spot. My only constructive criticism would be to check on the soda machine. The Sprite had a certain taste to it that I wasn't a fan of and I ended up not drinking it. I'm not sure if the mixture was off but honestly, it almost tasted as if the lines might need a cleaning or something of sorts. I swear I dream about this place at night. I'm a New York native so getting a quick bite is common for me, but actually enjoying it is surprising. The staff is super nice and always in a good mood no matter the time. Orders are always given to me correctly and within great time. These guys have always welcomed me with a big smile and a How are you. Jose is taking orders, getting orders ready and doing the cash drawer. Stopped by on a Wednesday at 1.30 in the afternoon. There were a few people inside. My order of 1 crispy chicken, 1 carne asada on a crispy shell, and 1 ground beef on a crispy shell tacos was taken momentarily and arrived a few minutes later. I like the taste of soft wheat and crispy corn tortillas better than what they have at Taco Bell. The crispy shell is thinner and creates more of a delicate bite texture. The ground beef is similar but I feel like is a finer grain. Crispy chicken is my favorite. There are people who controversially claim there's no need for Taco Bell if you have a Del Taco nearby. Personally, I like having options to choose from. But I admit that my preference would be Del Taco. read more

Missing items have become a constant issue--today, Fredy forgot the fries that came with my combo, and last time, it was a taco. I shouldn't have to double-check my bag every visit just to make sure I get what I paid for. The food is decent, and the staff is generally friendly, but the lack of attention to detail is unacceptable. As a longtime customer, I expect better. I like coming to this Del Taco because it's on my way to work. I also like that it's open 24 hours (at least the drive-thru is). The food has also been delicious. I love their crunchy tacos and chicken soft tacos. Customer service has always been good. This is a good size Del Taco, so there is plenty of tables inside if you want to eat inside. STILL the best fast food combo burrito of anywhere I've had that reminds me of the Taco Villa combo burrito in Amarillo I had as a kid. The combo burrito with green sauce (no red) is amazing. Customer service at this Del Taco is top notch! You would not topically expect such high quality customer service from a fast food restaurant but here it is obvious. They go above and beyond with friendliness, helpfulness, and genuine customer care. It's a Del Taco. Keep that in mind. It's good food, comfort food, as a reminder to when you were on a tight on a budget, served fast. Came in here while waiting for a buddy to land in Burbank at the airport. Just wanted to carb up, since I had gone to the gym earlier in the day. I've been to this Del Taco before, just never had time to do a proper review. It's great! I mean for what it is, and the nature of the style of eating establishment, I give this place five stars. Mainly the reason for that is because it's clean, the parking is relatively easy, the staff was on it with quick service, and a friendly smile. Speaking of which, I'm sure the staff here changes on a regular basis. People who work here move on with their lives, maybe they're just here for a college job, or decide to go on to bigger and better and greener pastures. With that being said, every time I come in here, the staff is always been pretty friendly. I think the owner of this particular one makes it a habit to hire the right people each and every time. In terms of the food, it's your standard Del Taco. Everything is pretty cookie cutter in terms of size, taste, quality, etc. One piece of advice I will tell everyone who's reading this is to download the app. You do get some offers from time to time that are worth it, and can always try something new at the suggestion of the software. One last thought, call it words of wisdom, that I would leave to the staff working here if you're reading this: whether this is your first job, or you just need some extra cash, or maybe you just want to build some experience, working here is definitely Foundation building. You're going to get a lot of trash talk, probably people who don't appreciate you and take things for granted. But hang in there. Use the opportunity of working here as lifelong lessons on how to deal with people, the structure of problem solving, and the hierarchy of the chain of command. I went to Del Taco to get my guys, who've been working hard for me, some food. Normally, when I get everything else like fish tacos, quesadillas, and other stuff, it's always good. But probably the worst possible experience was getting their burritos. The guacamole was rotten and old, tasted like feet, and the burritos were just like a giant wet diaper filled with vegetables and barely any meat. When I questioned what was going on, they told me, "Well, I saw the guy make it, he did put chicken in there." Then I asked them for a pastor one, and they did add extra meat, but the meat tasted very weird and bad. Also, the drinks--guess I should have checked, but who normally does--tasted like a bad mix. The Sprite was all syrup with not enough seltzer. I ordered a Coke but got a Dr. Pepper, and it was the same thing--just syrup and not enough of the seltzer mix. Really horrible. Normally, it's pretty good, but this time it was really bad. At all costs, avoid the burritos--the giant ones that are nothing but a mishmash of wet vegetables, rice, and beans, with very little meat because they want to save money by not giving their customers any real amount of meat in the food. This location is very conveniently located right next to the Burbank Airport. It is located in a plaza just outside the entrance to the airport with a bunch of other restaurants. This location is rather slow in their service whether drive-thru or in person. On multiple trips, I can't say any trip has been particularly fast. The most recent trip was the first one I have gone inside, and the service seemed even slower as they were short on staff. The food itself was lackluster and not prepared to my requests and the portion size of the meat/ingredients in the tacos seem to be a bit less than other locations. Definitely a budget friendly deal.What separates this location from the others, is the attention to detail. This location is across the street from the Burbank Airport, so you can imagine the high volume of customers coming through daily. Despite how busy this place gets during peak hours, the food is rarely made sloppily. The dining room is always clean. The line moves quickly. The orders are always correct. I stopped by during lunch time after placing an order on the app. The app instructed me to go through the drive thru and give my name. I did so. The lady was annoyed at me and told me to drive to the window. I did so. She then immediately shoved a paper at me and said online orders are difficult and waste a lot of time slowing the drive thru line. I was perplexed. I looked down at the paper and it was for delivery drivers asking them not to use the drive thru. I explained to her I'm not a delivery driver and I tried to show her the app and my order and she wouldn't look at my phone. She then asked me what I ordered and I told her it was only a burrito. This infuriated her even further and she said you only ordered a burrito and I hesitantly said yes because I didn't think there was a minimum amount I had to order as the app had gladly taken my money for that one item. I did not push further as I did not want my food tampered with. When she handed me the food she told me never to go through the drive thru again with an online order as it makes work harder for them. The worst service and food I have ever had there. I have gone to this location for about 10 years and yes I did have minor issues but this time it tops it all. The person who took the order didn't seem to understand me. I repeated the order 10 times. What I ordered was Del Tacos with only meat and cheese. He said to me "with beans and chips". I said tacos don't have been and chips and he said meat and cheese. I said yes only meat and cheese. When I got to the window I clarified and he said only meat and cheese. When I got home they were beans, only beans in the taco shells. What???? I tried to call the location and after it rings for a while they pick up the phone and take it off the hook. Horrible service, long wait for no reason. The time on the receipt is 5 min fast also. I order sides of rice and beans along with $30 worth of other food. After waiting for almost 20 min I was given the rice and beans is a tiny sauce cup.
