I finally made it to Tigawok, and I'm already planning my next visit. Their Build Your Own Tiga Bowl makes it easy to create exactly what you're craving. I ordered purple rice with crispy sesame tofu, mixed veggies, kimchi, and their chili sauce, and everything worked so well together. The tofu was crispy, the veggies tasted fresh, and the chili sauce added the perfect kick. I really appreciate having another spot with solid vegan options that doesn't sacrifice flavor. The bowl was filling without feeling heavy, and I cleaned my plate. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!

No meat mapo tofu, eggplant string beans, fried rice (has HK sausages in it), and chicken string beans

    |[ s a d ]| Utterly disappointed- we were loyal customers here (we come almost weekly) but they changed the menu and removed the "plate" option, basil chicken, and made the mapo tofu fried instead of boiled tofu (unhealthier). They added purple rice which is nice but they have both $0.50 and $1 extra listed for it and charged the higher price- this is extremely unacceptable and misleading, we let it go but it was disappointing on top of the option changes. |[ o n l y p o s i t i v e ]| Only good thing are the added sauce options but you only get a small cup per bowl... this is now overpriced for very mediocre "Chinese food", not only did they make it less authentic and unhealthy but the price point makes it not worth coming for anymore. Hope things change someday so we can come back- otherwise not sure we will. Ambiance hasn't changed.

I've been to TigaWok a few times, and what made me fall in love with it was the original concept. You could choose several small dishes served in cute little containers, which made it easy to try different flavors at a very affordable price. My favorite was always the tomato and egg dish, so I came back craving it, only to find out it's no longer on the menu. It looks like TigaWok has shifted to a build-your-own bowl concept. You start by choosing a base (jasmine rice, chow mein, half or all greens, purple rice, or egg fried rice), then a protein, a veggie, and a side. They also offer complimentary sauces, and I really enjoyed the ginger scallion sauce. It added great flavor to my bowl. My only issue was that the menu wasn't very clear about what qualifies as a "veggie" versus a "side." I chose roasted pumpkin (squash) as my vegetable and spicy cucumber as my side, but I was still charged extra, which was confusing. I wish the menu explained the categories better or simply combined the vegetable and side into one selection since they're all vegetable-based dishes. It would make the ordering process much more customer-friendly and avoid surprises at checkout. I also ordered the braised pork belly, which used to be one of my favorites. Before, it came in tender, bite-sized pieces. This time, the pork was cut into larger chunks with a lot of fat, and unfortunately, the meat was dry. I understand that businesses evolve, and the staff explained that the new concept caters to their customer demographics. I appreciate that they're offering more vegan-friendly options while still keeping pork, beef, chicken, and shrimp on the menu. However, I miss the old concept that made TigaWok stand out. I hope they'll consider bringing back some of the original favorites and making the ordering process a little clearer. I'd love to see this place thrive because I've genuinely enjoyed it in the past.

Wow has it backslid. Now it's not al la cart, but instead just a bowl based on your choices. and they got rid of the best choice: basil chicken. only unhealthy options left. also it's super militating misleading. the wall shows that purple rice was a 50 cent up charge, but at the cashier I was up charged $1. Awful and unless they change it back, I am avoiding this place.

It is very nice. It's similar to panda express but so much better. I really love the red braised pork belly, that was very tender, fatty and delicious. The peppered chicken was very tasty as well. They have different varieties of dishes to choose from that are really delicious and fresh and fresh. They also offer pickled radish, and chili sauce. The best part was the utensils and containers they provided. It's really cool and high-quality covers and lids. Everything was available at a self-service counter.. If you had leftovers, you could easily pack them up yourself without having to go to the front again to ask for a to-go box. Such a convenient and a unique idea. A plate for two entree was $10.99 ( with additional a dollar or $1.50 for braised pork belly and curry ) and $13.99 for a plate of three entree of choice.

This is by far one of my children's favorite place to eat. Anytime we are even close to the area, they expect us to stop at Tigawok. I don't mind, because they happily gobble up the broccoli that they have here. It really is so good. I have noticed that some of the cute things that they had when they first opened are not there anymore. For example, there are no more men, no more lossing stick, and they use paper bags instead of the cute branded bags. But that's totally understandable, I can imagine offering things like that could be expensive. I was surprised it happened in the first place.

I visited this location around 12:10pm on a Saturday. There was no wait, and I felt very comfortable as I read the menu and took the time to understand the difference between a base and a mini bowl (aka I was not rushed). The employee was very patient and helpful. We ended up ordering the Garlic eggplant and green beans ($4), chow mein mini bowl ($4), orange chicken mini bowl ($5), and a fountain beverage. I really like the option of a mini bowl. Sometimes, I don't have the appetite to eat a full meal, and I don't want to waste food either. Other times, I just want to try new food. Regardless, I really appreciated the option of a mini bowl. The most enjoyable thing I had was the green beans in the eggplant dish. They were perfectly crunchy. All other items were okay to me. It was edible, just not something I would necessarily go back for. Overall the highlights of Tigawok for me was the friendly staff, cleanliness of the restaurant, and I enjoyed the option to have a mini bowl.

Cool new Chinese food concept with robotic woks and smaller side portions. You choose the different small plates you like so you can mix and match with others at the table vs panda etc that puts a combo all into one personal platter. Fresh Chinese favorites at Great prices with good consistent food. These guys may become a big competitor to panda and other quick service Asian chains.

I was hungry and near this place and as much as I don't like their 'No Cash' policy, I decided to eat here. I tried their pork belly with chow mien and their tiga cola chicken, the pork belly was excellent, tiga cola chicken was ok, I bought their 2 item bowl, I probably will try their rice with 1 entree next time. Service was friendly and professional, the place was kept clean

This spot is great. Easy! Convenient! And tasty!! I have been here about ten times now and keep coming back for more. They have a new tigabowl that I tried out today! Great food! Great portion! Better than what you would get at the competition plus the quality of the food taste better!

Food: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 What a upscale Chinese fast food restaurant. I have tried most of their menu and I love em all. They pack their food with very high quality boxes and my favorite was their free dipping sauce which takes the flavor to next level. I wish they open one near my house

I was in the area and walked in as I thought that everything was made to order but it's not. It's basically a food to go place. I came at lunch time and it was pretty empty inside. Service was friendly. The store is large and clean inside, but the food in the case did not look appetizing, it looked like it was sitting for a long time. Since I was there, I got the orange chicken and the tomato egg, and a bit of the hot sauce condiment. The hot sauce was delicious. The orange chicken was not, it was 90% batter and had a burnt taste. The tomato egg was ok but not great. Not for me.

Tigawok is a pioneering "robot-powered" Americanized Chinese restaurant chain launched in 2024 in Los Angeles by founder Tomas Su (Sunright Tea Studio) and Kelvin Wang (Beijing Tasty House). Tigawok focuses on a quick-service, cafeteria style and mini-bowl approach where customers can try multiples smaller portions. Dishes are intentionally priced to be affordable and competitive with grocery prices, typically ranging between $3 and $7. I really like the mini bowl concept, perfect portions and reasonable price. However, food is mediocre, lacking in depth or complex, authentic flavors. The feel of the restaurant was modern, bright, and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Dishes are acceptable when I am looking for a quick meal but not one I would specifically go out of my way to find again.

Beef pho hit the spot, perfect temp broth to wilt the herbs and sprouts, savory flavor, and tasty meats. The taco was a surprising hit, beef was the same from the pho topped with pickled onions. Must have with a spritz of lime and sriracha. Service was great, server was helpful, and friendly. Talked about the specials and took care of the rest. I even verified with the girl on the phone when placing the order i wanted jalapenos. The banh mi has no jalapenos, half the sandwich is daikon and carrots with a cucumber and the thinnest layer of overcooked beef on top. I ordered last month 2 banh mi and egg rolls. Banh mi had no jalapenos either, the egg rolls were missing lettuce wraps and the sauce was half the to go container. I've eaten here in person and received lettuce when eating in the restaurant, their yelp photos show lettuce wraps with the egg rolls. But every time i ordered egg rolls for takeout it is missing lettuce wraps. The one time i ordered and got the lettuce wraps with egg rolls, i had to explicitly tell them to add it that time. I thought this placed served the food as it should be in their culture? I've held back leaving a bad review of this place because i thought they would somehow improve or it was a one off mistake but this was the final straw. Consistently screwing up or intentionally holding back ingredients on takeout orders crazy. How much are you actually saving by with holding lettuce, sauce, and jalapenos??? This place used to be good, now it's just another above average spot. If you want banh mi, go somewhere else and be less disappointed.

The roti was highly recommended, and although I've enjoyed roti before, nothing has come close to this version. I'm a big fan of drunken noodles, but the version served here was truly exceptional--the best I've ever had. The flavors were rich, vibrant, and perfectly balanced. Our server was attentive, patient, and genuinely kind, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. To top it all off, the prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food and service. I thought it was too sweet for me and it didn't taste like most Pad Thais I've had or come to expect, but it was still okay. Veggie Rolls - This is pretty much salad/lettuce in a spring roll, and the peanut sauce is what makes it delicious. Not very large or filling, but good if you want some side greens. If you have a peanut allergy, skip these because they're kinda boring without the sauce. Panang Curry with Filet Mignon and added Japanese Pumpkin - This was a good dish! The steak was cooked a little too well for my liking, but it was generous in portion and the sauce was really flavorful. I was glad I added the pumpkin. Filet Mignon Pho - Not my favorite pho ever, but I liked that they offered Thai and Vietnamese options. When I ordered online, I didn't see in the description that it included bean sprouts or basil and that I had to order them for $2 each. I like my pho with every dang thing, so I spent the extra $4. The items did already come with the pho, plus I got an extra bag that I didn't really need to order. The steak was thinly sliced and tender, I just wish there was more of it. Salmon Rolls - These are pretty heavy, the fresh salmon is fried on the outside and rare on the inside. They come with a few dipping sauces, including a spicy mustard that I liked. Thai Tea Caramel Creme - This is honestly the reason I order from here. I am a damn fiend for Thai Tea-flavored desserts, and I crave this one all the time. It has a rich, velvety texture and a strong Thai tea flavor. I have thought of stopping by just to order this, and I probably will. Our orders have always been ready on time, although I can't speak for any dining-in experience, and I think it's a little pricier than other Thai restaurants. The website is just a little wonky... I like that everything is customizable in just about every way, and there are pictures of most items, but the pho order wasn't clear about what it would come with, and some of the upcharges are higher than they should be. However, I will come back for that Thai tea dessert because I've fallen in love.

The way it's set up is pretty cultural. It reminds me of some hole-in-the-wall Asian restaurant the way they have metal utensils at each table. It's almost like a self-serve system to certain tools which is pretty common. I haven't drank water out of metal cup in a long time, so that was nostalgic too. We tried a variety of dishes to get a fuller understanding of their menu of what this place has to offer. I was really looking forward to the beef roll because it's usually one of my favorite dishes, but this one was disappointing. I define a good beef roll as one that's a good mix of sweet, savory and refreshing. The meat makes it savory and the veggies are supposed to counter it make the whole dish feel light. If someone disagrees with me, please share your thoughts on what a beef roll should taste like. The one from Pine & Crane was drenched in sauce. I could not taste the meat or the veggies and the whole thing tasted like a stick of sugar. The mapo tofu was on point, but this is quality you can probably make at home. The flavor profile was very similar to that of stuff you'd get a grocery store. The three cup jidori chicken came recommended, so we tried it. The flavor is very pungent and goes well with rice. There was only one waitress handling the dining room, and she did not miss a beat. She was attentive, efficient, and kept everything moving even as the restaurant quickly filled up. The restaurant is polished and exceptionally clean, with a soft, comfortable ambiance that works equally well for a romantic dinner or a family meal. It was quiet when we first arrived, but before long it transformed into a vibrant, bustling neighborhood spot. Everything we ordered was delicious. The Gai Wings were flavorful, moist on the inside, and perfectly crispy on the outside. The Lemongrass Soup was bright and slightly herbal with a refreshing hint of lemon. The Pad See-U had that wonderful savory, slightly sweet soy sauce flavor, and the Sautéed Eggplant was soft and silky with a savory, garlicky flavor and just a touch of sweetness. Highly recommend the Papaya Salad (medium heat is perfect), Gold Rush (chicken potstickers), Fresh Rolls (crunchy jicama, tofu & fresh greens), Suki Dry (rice noodles with shrimp & veggies), and the Sautéed Eggplant with tofu. Their Mint Pomegranate Sparkling refresher is the perfect complement to the meal. Parking tip: bring plenty of quarters. You might get lucky and find a metered spot right in front or just around the corner.
