Make it make sense. You order a large salad and get a tiny container of salad dressing. You ask for extra dressing and they say it's going to be an additional charge. How much? $6! Not unless I'm getting a bottle of dressing. Get it together Niko, it's literally garlic ponzu- not liquid gold.

We've seriously been sleeping on this place. We've been coming here more and more lately, and it honestly hasn't disappointed once. The sushi is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made, and the overall experience keeps us coming back. Definitely becoming one of our go-to spots.

This place is pretty small but they fit a decent amount of people inside. They have regular table seating or sushi bar seating. They have soooo many options of rolls, maybe about 50 different types. Although it was busy in there, the service was pretty quick for drinks and food. The nigiri pieces we ordered are very fresh and melt in your mouth. The sushi rolls and the bento box were very good. It was in a strip mall so I was skeptical but noticed that those are the best sushi restaurants.

I went to this Japanese restaurant during weekend lunch. It is located inside a little plaza so there is decent parking available. There was a little wait since there are some people who come to dine or order food to go. It is not a large restaurant, it is a bit intimate with a bar seating so you can see the chef make the sushi rolls. I recommend this place because they offer quality sushi and bentos. They have a diverse menu with no rice options as well. Prices are reasonable and the quantity of food you get with the bento was worth it! I like their combination of having tuna sushi, bulgogi, salad, rice, and miso soup. The whole dining in was made more enjoyable with the staff's friendly customer service. Definitely will come back again.

The infamous poke salad and scallop sushi

Many years of coming here, I still choose this place as a local sushi spot. Their poke salad is so simple but out of this world delicious! Especially with a squeeze of lemon and extra dressing. My go to rolls are the tataki roll, the Natalie roll which is packed with fish and chunks of avocado on top and of course anything with fresh scallops! Service is always quick and super friendly. Place is a bit on the cozy side but good thing is they accept yelp waitlists which is a win.

The food, service, and overall ambiance were great. We arrived at 9:23pm and were the only customers in the restaurant so the food came quickly. Sushi was very fresh! Definitely going back

I don't know how this place got out of my rotation. I used to come here allll the time. Their poke bowl is my favorite item on their menu. It's so simple but that dressing they pour on it, is so delicious. I can sip it haha You can't miss when it comes to the rolls and it's so hard to choose. But I feel they have a roll for just about anyone. It is a very small spot but it makes it feel intimate and there can be a wait time. If I counted correctly there's enough seating for like 30 people and that's including the bar. Also, the service is great here and they are pretty quick as well. I like that the waiters don't go around acting like one specific table is theirs, they constantly are checking up on everyone.

This place is my absolute favorite for Sushi. It's a small place with a few tables and you can dine by the bar where the sushi chefs are at but it's worth the wait, Trust me on that. I always like to start with their Edamame and their half Poki Salad, it's delicious their dressing is by far the best I've had on a salad does contain peanuts so just be aware of that. Their Alaska roll is also a great choice the salmon is cooked and I love it that way, a nice crunch and very flavorful. Their service here is fast and attentive food comes out pretty fast they have a few sushi chefs due to that. They have a bunch of cool names for their signature rolls all over the wall so you can try new stuff. Love the decor it's simple yet unique for sushi. If you are ever in the Burbank area def give this place a go!

"The Johnson" roll and Poki Salad
    Siri H.

I tried this spot for the first time the other day- it was AWESOME! So many people recommended it that I had to go in. Wait was not bad, servers were quick and kind. I sat at the bar. The server recommended two popular items to me and they SERVED!! The Poki Salad was flavorful and fresh and The Johnson roll was creamy and delightful! Not too spicy. I could have shared these two items with a second person, but I ate it all!!! No regrets! I even came back later with my bf to make him try. He loved it too! We tried the Alaskan Roll (not pictured), which again tasted SO fresh and flavorful and the gyoza. I liked the crunch of their gyoza! We then ordered The Johnson with shrimp tempura (bf wanted tempura) and it was great. 10/10 would recommend!

This restaurant is located just outside the downtown area of Burbank within a small strip mall. The restaurant does have a small parking lot for customers. The restaurant is quite small with a sushi bar and table seating. Not the best place to go with large groups. The restaurant does feature an extensive list of rolls as you can see within the picture menu. Plus, they have a menu of specials featured on the walls. And you can always get just fish (sashimi). The rolls were good, but I prefer rolls without chopped fish or intimation crab. I like my fish whole, but most of the items on the menu featured chopped tuna or crab. The restaurant prices are good for sushi, and especially for this area.

    Tempura Green Tea Ice Cream

Another amazing experience at Niko Niko. Had our usual garlic albacore roll with poki salad. Wife wanted to try the garlic edamame and it was a hit! Our daughter had the California roll and a cucumber hand roll. We ended our meal with a tempura green tea ice cream and it was the perfect ending to a great meal. Service was great as usual!

    Ultimate Albacore
    Caitlin M.

This is a popular local sushi spot. The price is fairly reasonable too. I've tried a few rolls from here, all good, but nothing beats the ultimate albacore for me. I am obsessed with the little onion crisps and garlic ponzu it comes with. Every time I order a roll to-go here I'm tempted to just stay because of the bubbly atmosphere. This place is always buzzing at night, whether people are locked into a game or catching up with friends over sushi and sake. The chefs working at the center of the main table also have great energy. Make sure to end your night here with their green tea ice cream, it's the perfect sharing size.

We were craving sushi (as always) and wanted to try somewhere new. After researching multiple contenders, we settled on Niko Niko and I'm so glad we did. We arrived around 5pm on a Saturday and got seated right away. Service was friendly and fast. The wait staff was very attentive and kind. The vibe was nice but casual. They had the dodgers game playing which added a fun sporty element to the restaurant. The food was amazing! My personal fave was the rainbow roll. Apart from their printed menu, they also have tons of other roll options on their wall! We decided to order the golden state from the wall menu and it was awesome! Just a little more spicy than I can handle lol! So be sure to ask your waiter if a roll is spicy before ordering if you're like me. We will be returning!

The standout was the Spicy Shrimp Wontons, which featured delicate, silky, the shrimp filling was perfectly seasoned, and the spicy chili sauce had just the right balance of heat, umami, and a subtle hint of sweetness, making each bite addictive. The OG Ramen was deeply comforting and satisfying, with a rich, flavorful broth and perfectly cooked noodles that held up well from start to finish. We also tried the takoyaki, which had a lightly crisp exterior, a soft, creamy center, and plenty of savory flavor, finished with classic toppings like bonito flakes, mayonnaise, and takoyaki sauce, tying all flavors together. Seated in a rather interesting part of North Hollywood, the summer heat did not deter us from eating here, as the smell immediately brought my worries elsewhere. A vast majority of the food here was fantastic, and the only reason I was going to opt for 4 stars was the takoyaki had quite a tiny portion in the actual dough ball- despite the actual breading so soft and fluffy, it was like the most delightfully extravagant packaging for something that was a bit of a let down. Though, much to the credit of our waiter she understood and offered to swap it out for another appetizer, which probably deserves the vast majority of the praise here. The vegetarian dumplings we ordered were legitmately some of the best dumplings I've had period. From the vegan mayo to the best gentle heat I've ever had the experience I've eating. Just hot enough for a brief moment with delightful heat throughout. The chicken skewers we had and the calamari were solid and with a perfectly paired Thai Iced Tea, I only hope to visit again and drown in dumplings. Cheers!

Alex himself took my order and the food came out pretty quickly and fast. I was very hungry so I got 2 main entrées and their regular small salad with peanut dressing. Ordered their Pad See Ew with beef & shrimp that also came with well cooked broccoli. I also got their crab fried rice and stayed with my water. Both entrees were cooked really well and were hot & tasty. My only complaint was that the beef was a bit overcooked and hard to chew. A lot of to-go orders and delivery/pick up by 3rd parties. Place was SPOTLESS CLEAN, including their gender neutral restroom. They also had nice decor all around. I really enjoyed my lunch and the portions being HUGE, took the rest home for my son to eat. Especially one open very late most nights! So many times after a long late work day I had no options for food, having a gluten allergy and being vegan, so now this is where I can go and expect a nearly perfect ramen every time. The no. 10 ramen (that has no broth) is my favorite. The ramen with broth is on the thicker side, and every type is good. They kinda all taste very similar to be honest. But even for people that eat meat, all the flavor is still present in the broth and ingredients. The atmosphere is also very nice and dark, with a decent amount of seats and nice background music playing, no annoying top 40 stuff. Always some nice electronic music that isn't too energetic or too sleepy. Sometimes there can be loud people but that really can't be helped in todays culture unfortunately, especially LA. I do wish they had more caffeine free drink options. Maybe some liquid death sodas, la crouix, or lemonade options would go well with the ramen or rolls! **The only other thing to keep in mind is that they tend to stop serving within a half hour of closing and sometimes they close early, might be best to order ahead or call if you intend on coming by around closing time, I was very disappointed two times because of this. ** Also, there is a shared lot and usually open spots on the street too. While I was in this establishment several months ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they only had lunch specials available from Monday - Friday at the moment. They currently don't have happy hour. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is non existent. You will have to find street parking or local parking garages. Make sure to read the street signs well before parking. I saw someone get a ticket while walking to the restaurant. Food and Drinks: I got myself a peach jasmine iced tea. It came in an old school can type container, which was very unique and cool. The drink itself was very fruity, floral, and refreshing. As someone who loathes super sweet drinks and food, this was just right. Perfect for a hot summer's day. My dope ass friend and I ordered the spicy garlic chicken rice and shaken beef garlic noodles. The spicy garlic chicken rice is a signature wok dish featuring flash-fried chicken, broccoli, and jalapeños tossed in a bold, savory garlic sauce served over a bed of hot and fluffy rice. It also comes with some popular Vietnamese veggies like lettuce, daikon radish, and pickled carrots. The chicken itself was soft, tender, and flavorful. Truthfully, this dish was mid compared to that of the shaken beef garlic noodles. It was also a pretty hefty portion of food. The shaken beef garlic noodles were hella fire. You would be remiss if you didn't order this, y'all. That's like going to Disneyland during Halloween season and NOT taking a photo with the gigantic ass pumpkin. Tsk tsk tsk. Anyways, this dish had thick, incredibly tender, mouth watering, and juicy cuts of wok-seared beef tenderloin and buttered onions served over generous portions of al dente savory, garlic-loaded noodles. As a fan of garlic and onions, this dish hit the spot. Also, this was a "wet" noodle style rather than a dry stir-fry. The generous portion sizes make it a heavy, highly filling meal. Staff: So I arrived earlier than my friend. They technically were not supposed to seat me until my friend arrived, but because the restaurant was pretty empty when I arrived, they told me to sit down at a booth to wait for my friend. Thanks, Mariska. She was very welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum.
