    Salt and Pepper Pork Chop
    Heather R.

Century Dragon in Burbank is one of my longtime favorite spots in LA--I've been coming here for about 10 years, and I'll still happily drive out from the South Bay just for their Orange Tofu. It's always perfectly crispy and easily one of the best versions I've had anywhere. This visit, we also ordered the Sautéed Green Beans, Fish Fillet with Black Bean Sauce, and the Salt & Pepper Pork Chops with garlic and jalapeños--everything was so flavorful and comforting. The menu is huge, and even though I keep coming back for the orange tofu, I'm excited to branch out and try more dishes next time. Consistently delicious and absolutely worth the drive!

Street parking available. The restaurant is small but has plenty of seating. The menu has all the expected dishes.' For a Chinese restaurant, they have a lunch special everyday except holidays. Serving size of portions were very filling and a great value. Ordered a bbq pork appetizer which was a good size shared dish. Soup was hot and savory. Lunch special came with soup, rice, spring roll and an array of entrees to choose from. I tried the shrimp in lobster sauce and the overall flavor was good, mixed the rice in to sauce. Husband ordered the orange chicken spicy it had flavorful but didn't get the waterworks running. The staff was friendly, and gave good recommendations. Overall found a nice new place to enjoy a good lunch at.

Man, a staple of Burbank. No matter how many times I come up here, have to go to this little bit of goodness every time! Smacks you with the deliciousness of the Asian cuisine. Service is always above and beyond when we go there. It's a small little nook with about a 8-10 tables and booths. If you love Asian food, gotta eat here.

Place is decent. I'd say average across the board. The breading on the lemon chicken fell off every time I picked it up. The lemon sauce was okay. They forgot to bring out the appetizer and started making it after I had my main dish in front of me. The server was kind but maybe a bit forgetful. I did enjoy the soup quite a bit. I got a lovely fortune. I'd never complain if I was forced to eat here but I would also never go out of my way to go here either. Average and that's alright!

The mixed vegetables was a large portion, which was great, however the beef and broccoli with slightly on the smaller side, which looked more like a lunch special as opposed to a dinner plate but overall, it wasn't bad! Atmosphere was pleasant and air conditioned. I'll go back!

We were welcomed by the Super friendly Gentleman and the lady who runs this place Tried their Vegetable Fried Rice (very good) & Spicy Beef (excellent must try dish)! Also if you're a Chili Oil fan like me then they sell them in jars for $5.99 which is really really good! If you're in the Burbank area then this place will NOT disappoint you, you'll find good food and most importantly great kind people here !!!

Prices are pretty dang good for Chinese, but some of the dishes reaaaally lack flavor. We've tried this place twice and end up adding soy sauce to the noodles and fried rice. The main chicken and beef dishes are good though.

I decided to check it out again, so let me give you all the pros and cons. Cons : parking and the parking lot is horrendous. Do not do it. There's one way in and one way out. It's a very narrow. It's very crowded. The way the cars parked are weird. Try and find parking on the street even though how all is set up right there you will not be able to find much. 2. They have no lunch menu meaning no discount prices no combos nothing like that when I asked about it I was told the only difference would be you would get noodles or rice if there was no price difference. 3. Not a fabulous place for nice dining. If you just want something casual, you don't care how it looks OK there's plenty of seeing but the restaurant looks like a storage room from the front door all the way to the back door. This is how it looks. 4. The three rice options were white rice, fried rice and brown rice. I opted for a fried rice and then when I saw it it looks like brown rice. Also looks like white rice did not look like what traditionally you think. Fried rice would be when I inquired about it. He said oh it's just white rice with egg you will see from my pictures. I didn't see any egg and even though the rice was tender, was like in a jelly mold instead of loose fluffy rice. Pros: 1. Food was delicious and I had Mongolian beef which comes with a brown sauce, beef, green onions, and white onion and there like small noodle type something at the bottom I'm not sure what that was.

My Kung Pao chicken was freshly prepared and had the correct ratio of vegetables to chicken, and it had the proper number of large peanuts and a very piquant savory/ sweet sauce that was nicely balanced and complex. I was honestly shocked at how good this dish was! A good sized portion and a generous scoop of white rice made this lunch treat the perfect surprise discovery! Reasonable prices will bring me back again to try other dishes from the menu. Cheers...... Frontier Wok Too

Lots of vegetables, large portions, fresh hot green tea and soup with each meal when you eat in. They have lunch and dinner combos, but honestly everything on their menu is awesome. My favorites include orange chicken, szechwan sliced bbq pork, mongolian beef, honey walnut shrimp and the dish I order every single time I go: buddha's delight. It's packed with various vegetables in a slightly sweet sauce that delivers the nutrients your body is craving. They offer take out, but I suggest dining in to get the full experience. The walls are decorated with a mix of artwork and images of their food while a pop station plays in the background. You'll sometimes find the kids doing homework at one of the tables during the week. They're sustainability friendly too, so if you'd like them to package something up in your own container, they're happy to do so. So grateful to have a traditional chinese restaurant that's run by a family like this in the area.

Regardless, I was immediately greeted and got my food quickly while it was still piping hot. I was extremely impressed by the flavor and tenderness of the shrimp here. I could drink the sauce my kung pao shrimp came in. Everything was perfectly cooked and the spice level was very mild, despite the bits of charred chiles mixed into the dish. I could actually probably go up a spice level or two if anything. The rice tasted even better once I got the idea to mix some of the sauce into it too. Unfortunately, I ordered a boba Thai tea from them but they were out of boba and it turned out to be a little too sweet for me anyways. The prices were pretty fair especially for their lunch meals so I really didn't mind.

It was a but busy when we got there but luckily we got seared pretty shortly after arrival. We originally wanted to sit at the bar, but opted for a table for less wait time. When first looking at the menu we were shocked by the prices. I knew immediately i wanted to get the hui tou potstikers with pork and noodles. We ended up adding on the hongkong style wontons too. To my suprise the wontons arrived in a delicious and warm broth, keeping them perfectly moist and plump. The broth was so delicious even on a hot day, tasting faintly of sesame and scallion. Despite both dishes being pork they were so different and equally amazing in flavor. The pan fried potstikers which were CRISPED TO PERFECTION especially reminded me of black bean shortribs that you get from dimsum, fatty but hearty and had me wanting more and more each bite. The minced pork noodles were to no suprise, so good. Noodles tasted fresh, the sauce was umami with mushrooms and pork. While im not the biggest fan of mushrooms, i still ate it up. I feel it would be so good with some picked cabbage too to complement the saltiness. Most notable thing... THAT CHILI OIL. We probably used almost half the jar left at the table. It wasnt spicy at all, but it had this flavor that i genuinely have never tasted before. The texture of the chilli and sesame and the nutty flavor had me in awe. Enough to take two jars home... i would do it again. Servers were so quick, made sure everything we needed was at the table. Regardless of the crowd we were met with promptness and generosity. This that wonton place your girl tells you not to worry about forreal. Will be coming back despite the long drive from home.
