Came here on a Friday for lunch, after much debating over several other local Chinese spots. This one definitely has the best prices and portions and I appreciate that they have all day specials, not just lunch time. We got: Sweet and sour pork special with fried rice and egg roll Orange chicken with fried rice and egg roll Beef lo menu I really liked the fried rice. It was the perfect level of moisture, well seasoned, and not overly eggy. My husband said the egg rolls were good. The pork was good, too. Some sweet and sour sauces can get too tangy but this one was just right. The orange chicken was okay. It wasn't as crispy as I would have liked and the sauce didn't taste that much different from the sweet and sour, but it was still good and a generous portion. I think the noodles were our favorite. Great portion size and not overly loaded with veggies. Usually things like sprouts and cabbage get too overwhelming, but this was perfect! My husband thought everything lacked salt, but I disagree. I am very picky with my Chinese food. That being said, this is the best I have found in this area, and I love that it is in a location I can drive to without too much of a hassle. The parking lot is a bit small, but so far every time I have gone here it has a spot or two available. There are other yummy restaurants here, but for Chinese, this is the spot. Just wanted to say, again, that I haven't been here in a while and with what looks like new owners (can't say for how long) the quality of the food has gone up some. When I came for my takeout, it was around 1:00 on a Sunday and the place was empty but they were busing a lot of tables so there must have been a big crowd earlier. Word must be getting around. So far I've only had the Orange Beef and Orange Chicken and both were moist, juicy and very flavorful. No hard coatings or chewiness like other places. The orange coatings were actually tasty with a bit of layering (not one note) without the overt sweetness that other places have. Next time I go I'm eating in to try out the soup you don't get with takeout. That, and the prices can't be beat. The all day special (with egg roll) works out for two meals for me. read more

On the hunt New York egg rolls, I was told to try here. They DO NOT have New York style egg rolls, what they have are Costco chicken egg rolls. Horrible. However, I was surprised by the rest. It's definitely a family owned business. Super busy for Lunar new year. I had been here once before on a regular day and the wait time was 10-15, but today it was really busy and wait time doubled. I'm happy for them! Anyway, I really love that they have several tofu options since I'm not eating meat and it can get very dull. More like 3.5 stars. Picked up a to-go order so didn't get the dine-in experience. But this small place in a run-down strip mall felt cozy and quaint with friendly service. Got veggie moo shu, veggie eggrolls and sesame balls. Everything was packaged well and survived the trip home intact. All the dishes tasted very good, fresh and good flavor. Unfortunately no house-made pancakes nor hoison for the moo shu but the generic kind instead. Also no house-made hot mustard for the egg rolls. Sesame balls were very good, better than expected. Currently it's not possible to get the full experience at China Lite. The main dining room is closed off and it's filled with to-go boxes and containers, leaving the front dining room a bit of a mess. Unfortunately when dining in, everything is also served on paper plates. As with many restaurants, they're short-staffed and there's no one to wash dishes. I had the XLB dumplings, Garlic Chicken Chow Fun Noodles, and Beef with Garlic Sauce. Over all the food was fine; nothing really stood out to me as amazing, but the Dumplings were my least favorite. The skins were pretty thick and the pork did not have the best flavor. I would skip them next time but I would order the Noodles and Beef Garlic again. The prices are reasonable. The Service was friendly and I appreciate all the hassle restaurants are going though to open back up. I hope China Lites gets the staff they need but until then I'll just stick to the takeout. read more

Friendly service, fair prices, great food. We ordered takeout from here the other night. The restaurant is in an unassuming little strip mall next to a few other restaurants and a liquor store. The parking lot is small but we didn't have any issues finding a spot. The inside of the restaurant is clean and decorated in the classic Chinese American style complete with a fish tank and paper Chinese Zodiac placemats. It's cozy and rich with nostalgia. We ordered the Beef Chow Fun, Chicken Fried Rice, Xiao Long Bao, and Sautéed String Beans. The portions were generous and still piping hot by the time we got home with them. We spent around $45 and got enough food for 2-3 meals. Everything tasted fresh and delicious--the Chicken Friend Rice and String Beans were our favorite. We will definitely be coming back! read more

I REALLY want to like this place. A star for the decent service and a star for the price. Lunch specials are certainly cheap but this is a prime example of getting what you paid for. I've been here twice and the salt and pepper fish was extremely floured up yet the fish still tasted too fishy. YIKES. Then I had the chicken with broccoli and there was a really spongy, chewy but unbreakable white opaque indescribable object that in my years of existence I still can't figure out what it is (pictured). The chow mein and broccoli beef were pretty yummy and not that much different from any other Chinese food stand you order from. The fried rice was whatever but definitely not your typical fried rice. They are perfect portions to share with at least 2 other people and come in microwave safe containers. Making it easy to store in the refrigerator if you have leftovers. OMG I highly recommend this place. It is such a good price!!!! You get a lot of food for the cheap price that it is. It's quality Chinese and is fresh and oh so yummy. It's also pretty rare to consistently have good quality without error when it comes to food these days.... I've ordered from them like four times and I've never had a bad meal. I also only get the beef with broccoli and the cream cheese wontons so I can't really let everyone know that every dish is good, but at least the beef and broccoli and the cream cheese wontons have been amazing. The chicken and beef had an unnaturally chewy consistency. The noodles tasted like rubber- I couldn't eat them. The Kung pao didn't even have peanuts. Best won ton soup around!! I'm so glad I found this restaurant when searching for won ton soup one day. It is truly the best won to soup I have ever tried; very tasty and packed with won tons and veggies. I was definitely willing to try more dishes after that, and did! Up until tonight I guess we have ordered for perhaps 5+ years from China Lites. Tonight, they lost our business though. My wife opened her Fried Rice to find one very dead bug right on top of the rice in plain view of anyone who would have closed the container. It was in such a position that it would have been impossible to miss. Sorry folks, I know that things happen....but this little fella made it into her fried rice, into the container and then was plainly visible to anyone who would open the container. Having a bug infestation is bad enough, but sending it out to your loyal customer means one of two things: Either your quality control is very poor or you simply didn't care. Either way I will not be purchasing again going forward. Sorry. I really hate to write bad reviews but a bug in the food that made it all the way via delivery? Unacceptable in my opinion. read more
