One of my favorite places to eat. I normally have it delivered but today I sat inside. Relaxing environment, friendly people and staff. Food was delicious.

I finally had the chance to come here today to grab dinner. I was the one who added this page on Yelp after I saw it was opening soon when I went to another place in the same plaza. I tried to come before when they first open but the grill wasn't ready yet and I couldn't wait an hour. Tonight I arrived in the evening to try their gyros. I found parking just fine in the lot this place is in. I asked first how long the beef gyro would take to make and I was told around 10 minutes. I was tempted on getting fries but the lady worker said to do the meal to get the full experience so I did. She said I deserve to spoil myself. It took over 10 minutes for my food to be ready and I took it home to eat with my Pepsi. The fries were all soggy by the time I got home which I don't far from this place like 10 minutes. So the fries were not good even when I added ketchup and black pepper. My beef gyro, I thought they give a decent portion but I just didn't like the flavor. The best part of my meal was my Pepsi soda. I have now ate at all the places of the plaza this store in.

Came back with a friend and was reminded at how average this place is. They can easily step things up to the next level by following Hummus Republic's business model. That place is FIRE . Probably won't come back, the place is just... meh.

Nick the Greek opened with a bang! For their opening day celebration, they gave free lunch to anyone who came to the restaurant between 11:30 and 2:30. Not just samples, mind you, but full lunches. I got a gyro plate with rice, salad, and pita bread and my daughter got the chicken souvlaki plate with french fries, pita bread, and salad. Both are normally $16.75 which is pretty reasonable by today's standards. We both really enjoyed the food and will definitely go back.

Came here by chance instead of Jersey Mike's and honestly, so glad we did! Got the chicken pita combo and it was so good. Soft pita, big portion, and really tasty. Fast service, nice staff, clean spot. Definitely recommend!

Best gyros in town and I love how local it is. It's hard to find a place that has good Greek food

The frozen yogurt is insanely good. I'm guessing a lot of people don't know about it, but it is excellent.

Came to this place looking for another hot dog place. The name caught my eye. And was not disappointed. Spanakopita is a must try.

Although Raffi's in Glendale is usually my go-to spot, I met a friend here for lunch and it was a nice change of scenery. Not only did I love the idea of having an outdoor patio almost to ourselves, but the inside is really cute with its retro mint accents, old school chairs, and wooden tabletops. I also loved looking at the Old World Hollywood black & white photos up on the walls. The only conundrum is finding a seat inside since this place fills up quickly during the lunch rush hours. Also, some folks just park it so they can work on their laptops while sipping on coffee -- not that I can blame 'em. Their Mediterranean, Lebanese-inspired cuisine, and fusion-inspired grill fare is delicious and the portion sizes are ample. Juicy tomatoes and slightly charred zucchini and summer squash sat vibrantly on my plate. Their savory chicken breast kabobs are made with authentic spices, but more on the lean, dry side. So I prefer their falafels, dolmas, and grilled veggies on my plate. SOTTA touts their Tomato Soup as "the best in town". Not sure I'd agree. My bowl was piping hot, but a bit on the bland side. I'd personally opt for another salad if given a choice: Their babaganoush is creamy, Greek salad is crisp, while the Shirazi Salad and Quinoa Tabbouleh won't disappoint. I'll have to try the Sautéed Mushrooms next time because the red wine, teriyaki, and garlic marinade piqued my interest. As for their drink menu, the coffee is excellent. Or try a 20 oz. matcha that's infused with passion fruit or guava. It's worth the splurge. Although Skaf's in Highland Park is still my fave Lebanese restaurant, I'll still make my way over to SOTTA next time on this side of the hill. It's still continents closer than the Adriatic Sea.

I ordered chicken breast, and the portions were surprisingly inconsistent. One piece was a reasonable size, while the other was significantly smaller and did not feel like a proper portion. The biggest disappointment was the Caesar salad with salmon. It came with only two very small pieces of salmon--approximately 1.5 ounces total. Honestly, even my cat would have been disappointed with that portion! It genuinely looked like they were down to their last small piece of salmon and divided it between the salad. As someone who is Persian and grew up eating this type of food regularly, I'm very familiar with the flavors, quality, and portions I would expect. Unfortunately, the food this time was well below average, both in taste and value. I would rate the taste about 2/10. It's especially disappointing because I previously enjoyed ordering from Sorta and appreciated having a convenient neighborhood option so close to home. But after two disappointing experiences in a row, I can't justify the price for the portions and quality I received. Sadly, I don't see myself returning. It's very sad that u spend 77$ for lunch for two and not be satisfied

We ordered out own plates. One 1/4 white chicken, chicken tarna, and chicken kabob plate. Each plate includes a side (we got the cucumber salad), rice, hummus, and pita bread. We added a small side of tabbouleh. All of that totaled to around $58, which was not bad at all. We even had enough to take leftovers home. Everything is delicious and tasty. My favorite thing here is the garlic sauce! It is to die for. I am going to have to come back and try their whole chickens. I wish the person calling out orders would call out the ENTIRE order when it's complete, rather than calling the items out individually as they are ready. I was standing by the counter, and she told me to come back when she calls me it is ready. This Zankou location is very big with indoor and outdoor seating. Parking can get busy, but there are plenty of spaces available.
