Every time I visit SoCal, I try to hit up The Kebab Shop because they're one of the few places that can accommodate my celiac disease. I came here on Sunday, April 19, 2026 around 4:30 PM and noticed that the tables were not bussed, there was no soap in the restroom and the sauce bar was a mess. There were at least 3 people working and there's just no excuse for there to be a mess. If there's no soap in the bathroom, which I informed the staff about, how many aren't washing their hands before going back to the kitchen? Staff was also slow when more people came in to order and were just standing alone at the register because all the staff was in the back kitchen. The food didn't even come with pickled onions on it and we had to ask. The staff used a gloved hand to reach into the pickled onions which cross contaminates the whole container of pickled onions with whatever was on her gloves. It's very good here. I enjoyed my fire wrap. I like the sauce bar. The wrap was big. Good value. I did notice a comment about the sauce tasting like mayo. That would be the dill yogurt sauce. It does not taste like a yogurt sauce. All the other sauces delicious. What I would change is that in my wrap, all the pickled onions were in one spot. Picked up an online order, came home and saw my order with 2 kofta orders that mind you is extra charge was extremely burned and not salvageable. I wouldn't even feed this to my dog. I called to inform them and instead of offering a refund for the item, they said if I go back they would offer me a discount. So I should make a trip back waste my time and gas to accommodate for their bad quality in service? Nope. Straight to the garage. You lost a local customer who will mention this in reference to your business. Quality check for food is important. Customer service is also important for businesses. We come to this location multiples times because not all franchises are created equal! We make the drive (25-30mins) to this particular location because of Junior. The customer service received from him has always been above par. Quick Side story- one the many times here, my husband dropped his keys here- we didn't realize it until we were within a few miles from home. We called the place and Junior stayed over business hours to hand over the keys, that were turned in by a customer. Aside from awesome customer service from Junior and Humberto, the food is always on point. We usually get the wraps and build to our liking. Unlimited sauces is a plus cus we are sauce people. IYKYK. One of my favorite lunch spots for the variety and flavor. But today, it was the service that moved me to add a review. I ordered a wrap but after eating halfway through it, it barely had any protein in it. I went to the counter to order a side of Kofta and the employee said, "No problem, we'll get that for you, and it's on the house."
