Knight is a family owned restaurant that has been in Burbank for at least 20 years. Since everything is made fresh, they don't have a huge menu. But knowing the very hospitable owners and staff, if you want something, they would do their best to cook it.  Their portions are huge and very reasonable. I had a fish sandwich (choice of salmon or tilapia) with cooked vegetables that was so big I couldn't finish it. It was at least 4 ounces of salmon for about $14. First and last time going here! To start, I had a long black hair in my salad, so they remade it. Then for my entrée, there was another long black hair in the food! She went to go remake it but I told her that she didn't need to. I didn't want them to make me more food, but they did anyway and gave me to go food. Then they charged me full price. On top of it, the girl who was working, was extremely rude and made it seem like it was an inconvenience for her to remake the food "three times" as she said, even though we never even asked her to. This time the chicken didn't taste like chicken nor did it look like chicken. Nor did it taste like meat. Imitation? Or old meat? The salad was also drench in dressing. It was the worst salad I have ever had. My dad agreed. We both had the worst diarrhea post our lunch. I am a nice person but my facial expression changed once she tried to explain the check to me. She called the salad Greek "chicken" salad. The word chicken got me upset inside but my face unfortunately can't hide it. That was chicken? When the bill came, they charged us $5.50 for the salad while the fries were free. The salad was also overly sour and soggy. My daughter, a friend, and I had a very disappointing experience at Knight Restaurant. My friend's sandwich arrived cold, and the waitress was unkind when it was mentioned until the cook overheard and offered to replace it. When we asked for an extra plastic bag for our divided leftovers, the waitress responded rudely and accused us of wanting "everything for free," even though we had not received anything free and had even declined ordering a full side of yogurt sauce earlier. She also stood over us while we paid, watching for her tip, which made the situation very uncomfortable. The service felt rude and unwelcoming, and unfortunately the food was not very good either. This is for a delivered order. We ordered the moussaka plate, Falafel plate, hummus, and blinchik via GrubHub. Delivery was fast, and the food was still hot when we received it. The Greek salad was very tasty, but also drowning in dressing. The containers were falling apart but also stuffed with about 3 cups of rice each. My partner enjoyed the moussaka, and I found the Falafel tasty, but crunchy/chewy and dry rather than crisp with a moist center. The roasted tomatoes were hard with bits of charred skin. The hummus came with 3 pitas and a small container of tahini or garlic sauce... we couldn't tell, and the hummus itself had a weird flavor. The blinchik were tasty but soggy as they packed it on a few lettuce pieces and tomato slices. We were overwhelmed with rice and dressing and underwhelmed with the packaging, hummus and veggies. Ordering was confusing; the side option only allows one choice, and then it comes with rice anyway, so I'm not sure why rice was an option. $8 delivery fee was kinda ridiculous, but finding moussaka isn't easy either. If we do try this place again, we'll go there to eat. read more

I've gotta say, this was a highlight of my trip from Las Vegas to Burbank for two days. I was brought into the restaurant before I even stepped inside. The gentleman up front (possibly the owner), Greko (sorry if I butchered that) came outside to my wife and I as we were looking at the menu, deciding if we wanted to eat there. Asked if we had any questions, and said he had a table ready for us, even though after we told him we were taking it to-go. And we did mention to him that my wife had a tomato allergy, so we wanted to make sure whatever we ordered, was made without tomato's. We walked in, and it seemed like just the right mom and pop shop. Greko was behind the counter being friendly and ready to take our order, the cook behind him preparing to make our food, and the overall feel of the restaurant just felt.. Right. And before we told him our order, he turns to his cook and says, "For this order, no tomato's. It's an allergy." That right there really stood out, ensuring us that he heard us, and let the cook know before he even started making our food. We order, pay, and he tells us a quick story that really just, gave us a peek into his life. That may not be important to most people looking for food, but he was genuine in life, and was genuine in making sure our visit there was perfect. Now, the food. Probably the best Greek food I've ever had in my life. I had the lamb burrito and wow. That's all I can say. Wow. The lamb was tender and tasty, the onions were sautéed to perfection, and the hummus was delicious. My wife had the falafel burrito and she was blown away by the taste as she devoured it. This place is worth every penny. And if you see Greko, be sure to ask him about the Maxima he bought in 1994 with cash, it's a good story. 10/10. read more
