I put him into a go order and specifically told them I want no onions on my kebab in my salad. When I came to pick it up the woman told me that they refused to take the onions out of the to go box. She said she spoke to the manager and that he said it is their policy that they do not remove onions! Unbelievable! We've been here before as it's on the top outdoor area of the mall but went in thru the mall as evidently the outside area was flooded due to heavy rains. Located inside the Burbank mall this Panini is always a hit. The service is quick and the staff is very patient and kind. One of my favorite things to order is the lentil soup. For the record I am a fan of Panini Kabob Grill, and most locations are really efficient and well operated, but this one in the Burbank Town Center was exceptionally awful. My boyfriend and I got here around 8pm and the restaurant looked really empty. Staff said it would take 15-20 minute. I figured it was to set up the table. However we waited for 40-45 minute and still had not gotten a text from them so we walked back to check on our table... since 9pm is the closing time. They said our table was ready and seated us in the back at a small table. When things are closing down and the restaurant is empty, I don't see why they couldn't seat us at a more comfortable table. I would have ordered more if I had space. We had to waiveeeee someone down to order. And I had to keep reminding them for the water we asked for. The front of house staff was really lacking. My boyfriend had the Beef Koobideh Kabob with 2 Skewers ($19.99) and I ordered a Salmon Brie Panini ($16.99) with the chicken soup as my side. Wait for it... ... ... ... .. .. .. wait longer.. .. .. The food finally arrives and I bite into my panini... BLAND. Keep in mind I have been ordering their salmon brie panini for years at multiple location. I was expecting a delicious fatty salmon with balanced capers and red pnions and fresh dill. What is this so bland?? I opened up my panini and it was CHICKEN... Ummm the Chicken Panini ($14.99) is cheaper than the salmon I ordered. I had to waive staff down again. They checked the bill and apparently it was the waiter that put in the chicken panini... SMH. He asked if I wanted it remade but at that point it's super late, and I'm over it with these people so I said no thanks, but I didn't want to be charged for a more expensive item I didn't get. To be fair it was all front of house problems... my boyfriend really enjoyed his koobideh plate, so the back of house is fine here. We'll give credit where it's due. Between the waiting, poor service, wrong order... I'm definitely not coming back. Hard pass. I hope management improves the way they run things here. When I have an incredible experience at a restaurant I write my review almost instantly. I will say that the food here is really good. My beef koobideh was perfect. It was tender and seasoned just right. Their rice is fluffy, the hummus delicious and of course pita is a must. Now the reason why it has taken me about 4 days to write this is speed of service isn't a strong suit here. So if you have plans after dinner then this isn't the place to go. We were largely unnoticed except for a few waters but had to flag someone down to get our orders taken. I can't say for sure that I won't go back and I can't say that I will. read more

Beware ! I usually go to the Glendale location, but since I had family visiting, we decided to try this one instead. While the food was excellent, the service completely ruined the experience. Our waitress, Aracely M., provided some of the worst service I've encountered. She came across as rude, sarcastic, and lacking basic customer service and professionalism. It felt like we were an inconvenience rather than paying guests trying to enjoy a meal. I'd strongly caution others to be aware, as this kind of service can really impact your visit. Service is usually good too but the other day we ordered the steak kebab plus an appetizer platter which was good. The single steak skewer was almost all vegetables. Plenty of onions , peppers etc but about 3 pieces of steak to share. I get that it's a meal for one person but it was lacking. We usually get the ground beef kebab and you get way more. I see a lot of people getting the chicken family meal and I've had various paninis. This one dish put me off from wanting to go back. Our waiter was not helpful either. Tucked on the 3rd floor of the Burbank Mall that's situated to the side of Downtown Burbank, it would be easy to miss this restaurant, and I have to say for a chain restaurant, it certainly can deliver some delicious Kaboba that wouldn't be out of place in your favorite family-run Middle Eastern/Mediterranean restaurant. The Flat Iron Steak Kabob that I ordered was juicy, tender, and very filling. There's just enough basmati rice was aromatic and delicious, and the Greek salad really balances everything together with very good vinaggraite dressing. I do think that the food here in general is very healthy with that in consideration. Was happy to have upgraded the salad to the strawberry date version! I think they may have used the same vegetables and sauce base for their Mediterranean salad and swapped it for different toppings. Brown rice was already enjoyable and slighty flavored. This is my first time in the Burbank location, which is located inside the mall. My go-to meal is the chicken kabob plate and I got mine with rice and cesar salad. The portion was huge, a great value for the $17 price tag. The kabob was tasty, juicy, although I prefer for my kabob to be slightly more marinated and grilled onions and other veggies to be more well done . This time they were grilled a bit less. The kabob was still delicious and tender. I would dip it into cesar dressing as their cesar is just phenomenal. I would rather give this place a zero for the server who works there. Unfortunately we came here multiple times and other servers were ok to split a check except this one Hispanic lady who works there (couldn't get her name because I didn't pay much attention) but she is very rude!!!! She literally walked off as I was talking to her trying to figure out if we can split a check before we eat and it has been done before. The manager needs to have a sit down with these servers and and explain to the how to set up their transactions on how to split checks for parties sitting on the same table! Met some friends here for a going away lunch. It's on the second floor of the Burbank town center and seems very popular. It was so popular that we wound up sitting outside on the patio. It was a hot day and we would have been more comfortable sitting inside in full AC. They have ceiling fans to keep you semi cool so isnt brutal. No big deal, but if you have a choice, definitely sit inside when it's hot. I didn't eat much, I only had a steak sandwich. They give you plenty of food as you can see from the pics! My steak tasted great, no complaints about that at all. The service was also great as the hostesses and restaurant staff were all nice and helpful. Seems like a nice place to eat! I remember coming here before the pandemic and they were just as good then. The main entrance is in the mall but you can enter on the Magnolia side of the mall by going up the escalator. This place and the atmosphere is so amazing, I love the dimmed lights and the cushioned chairs some of the tables have.I got a Linguini Bolognese Pasta which was so yummy and We also got a family combo to share which was with chicken skewers and two salmon skewers. The salmon and so good and i loved it with the rice. The chicken however could've been less dry but it was still so yummy all together, the cooked tomato's were the cherry on top that made it so delicious. Last weekend, I ordered takeout from Panini Kabob Grill in Burbank. Their online ordering system was easy to navigate and when I arrived at the restaurant, my order was prepared on-time. The staff were friendly, and this is reflected in the restaurant's ambiance as well since I saw some fun family dinners when I picked-up my order. Since I was getting dinner for my family, I had selected multiple items, including the Falafel Combo Appetizer with Pita Bread, Koobideh Wrap with Lentil Soup, and the Family Combo with Mediterranean Salad, Basmati Rice, and Chicken and Lamb Skewers. This place is a great place for protein and salads. It's not on the menu, but they have a chicken kabob/koobideh combo and it is HUGE! I usually intend on saving half for home but the chicken is so juicy and the ground beef kabob so tasty I end up eating it then and there. The bulgur wheat pilaf is great - I usually get an avocado salad with that. For less than $30 that's quite a steal nowadays. I will admit, I don't think the place screams sanitary or clean however, it definitely could use a little more wiping on the tables, but it's nothing terrible. I went to the pick up area and spoke with a male Hispanic. I informed him that I wanted beef kabob. Which he repeated and asked how many. Only 1. Paid $20+ including tip.
