Order 2 asada tacos 2 pastor tacos they were okay asada was better then pastor. Order of asada quesadilla with everything and wasn't all that either. There red sauce isn't spicy green sauce is ok. Guacamole sucks.

    Pastor tacos! Yum!

Stopped here the other day for a quick snack- it is super tiny inside, just a few tightly packed tables, one cook, one man at the register. It was 1:30 on a Tuesday and there were a lot of people coming in and out! All except us speaking only Spanish so I think that says a lot about the authenticity and quality! We only had enough cash to get 4 tacos, decided on all pastor. They were delicious and much more substantial servings than typical street tacos. Like needing a fork to eat what fell off as we tried to eat with our hands. Messy but so good! Wish we had tried more types. Would definitely go back to try more. I bet the burritos are bomb!

Profile of cigarette smoking man (cigarette not pictured at the time, but he definitely had one lit).

It's 6:30pm on a Friday. We walked up and a bigger guy was sitting inside smoking a cigarette and just said incredibly rudely said "closed". Even if you go by their posted close time of 7 p.m., it's still a store employee/manager/owner sitting down inside an unlocked restaurant, with their open sign still illuminated, SMOKING A CIGARETTE. I could be mistaken but that's not legal in California these days, right? Disgusting, illegal, and undoubtedly should be inspected by the department of health.

Well it seems as the other reviews for this place is either Love or Hate and not much in between, Taco Naco is a small place located in a strip mall almost hidden behind another business that's located on the corner, you could easily drive right by this place and not even notice it, and whom ever laid out the parking spaces must be "Nano". Simple menu with a nice selection of meats and although they were out of a couple I wanted to try I was still able to get me four tacos, the guy tosses tortillas on a grill to warm them, then slings some meat (pre-cooked) that's held in warmers and adds some toppings onion, cilantro and salsa!, food is ready quickly. Nice mom and pop taco spot. $8 burritos and $2 tacos are a little pricey for a hole in the place like this but quality is decent.

Old School Tacos the way it should be!!!
    Anthony E.

This place is quick and convenient for a quick lunch or snack... Tacos are old school and taste great, especially with the red salsa. Price is reasonable and customer service is a cool laid back vibe. Will try something else next time. Seems that they have quite a bit to offer.

    Best need tacos in Burbank!

Went back and had another round of tacos to confirm the 5-starness of this place and... Yup, they're still rock it!

For tacos and burritos you have to try this place.

Very tasty asada burrito. Flavorful! Beef was pretty good quality...not dry or fatty. Next time I'll have some tacos! Yes will be returning.

Worst place ever. Small dirty place. Ordered something simple like chicken nachos. Took a bite and chicken was rancid.

The service was outstanding; they refilled said chips and AMAZING salsa three times. The food (generous portions) came our quickly and they refilled the waters before being asked. What can you make vegan? I asked, since the menu didn't mention anything specifically. The waiter, unbothered, began listing what they could make me but I stopped him pretty quickly at enchiladas. They ended up being good but the star of the plate was their vegan rice; it was clearly different from what all the meat eaters got on their plates. There's was yellow/orange, but mine was green and fragrant- cilantro and lime clearly central in the cooking. SO GOOD! I will definitely come back for the service and to try something else from the ready list of vegan entrees they seemed happy to offer off-menu.

Last Saturday, we celebrated a family member's birthday at this restaurant. Just want to say right…read moreoff the bat that this place really hit it out of the ball park in almost all aspects of the dining experience. First off, it's a beautiful restaurant with Spanish touches throughout. There is seating inside and outside the restaurant in the courtyard. In the courtyard, there was a musician playing the guitar. Loved, LOVED his rendition of Hotel California. Really put me in a relaxing mood. The food here is unbelievably good with a few minor exceptions. Here is a run down of everything we had: -Patatas Bravas 5/5 stars. The roasted potatoes were delicious and the creamy sauce drizzled on top made it that much better. -Croquetas de Jamon y Pollo 4/5 stars. I remember it being tasty, but it wasn't as memorable as some of the other things I tried. -Gambas al Ajillo 5/5 stars. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and flavored. Even the bread, which tasted like sourdough, was fantastic. -Calamares Fritos 10/5 stars. No, that is not a typo. I usually avoid calamari like the plague since I'm not a fan of the taste. Here, however, I couldn't stop eating the calamari. I was popping them in my mouth like popcorn. There was something about the batter they used to coat the calamari. It had a satisfying crunch to it. Didn't even need the sauce it came with. -Prime Ribeye (prepared medium rare) 3/5 stars. The steak was okay. It was a bit undercooked and didn't have a nice crust on it. -Papitas Fritas: 10/5 stars. Once again, not a typo. The fries here were something special, which is saying a lot since fries are ubiquitous. The fries were delicately crispy and delicious. -Jamon Iberico Cebi de Campo with Manchego Cheese 4/5 stars. The Jamon Iberico was good, but not great. It had a slightly weird after taste that I usually don't get from high quality Jamon Iberico. -Tarta De Queso and Churros con Chocolate 3/5 stars. These were the only two items that I was truly disappointed with. There was nothing special about these dessert items. The churros were bland. -Cucumber Mint Cooler and Devil's Day Off 5/5 stars. Both of these drinks were refreshing. The Cucumber Mint Cooler, in case you're wondering, could best be described as a well executed, non-alcoholic cucumber mojito. The Devil's Day Off was a fizzy grapefruit and cinnamon delight. I have to end this review with the service. It was top notch. Our server, Robert, was not only extremely friendly, but helpful and informative. He walked us through the menu and talked us out of ordering certain items so that we wouldn't over order food or get items too similar to one another. At one point, we were debating whether to order the Churrasco a la Plancha (8 oz ribeye) or 12 oz ribeye. One person from our family wanted the fritas that only came with the Churrasco while another person (me) wanted the 12 oz ribeye. Robert resolved the disagreement by suggesting that we just order the 12 oz ribeye and they'll throw in the fritas for free (which they did). At the end of the meal, he made sure to point out that the gratuity had already been added to the bill and that there was no need to add a tip. We appreciated the heads up, otherwise we may not have noticed that. If it's not clear from my write up, I really enjoyed this place, despite a few items that missed the mark. If it wasn't so far away from where I live, I would have been back this weekend to try out more items from the menu.
