1 star Extremely disappointed with this experience. I ordered a breakfast burrito around 8 PM, planning to eat it when my husband got home around 11:30 PM. When we finally cut into it, we realized they had given us a completely different burrito/order. I immediately called the restaurant, and I was told that corrections or refunds could only be made the same day. At that point it was already around 11:45 PM. I live about 20 minutes away, so driving back would have put me there after closing. I even offered to send a picture of the incorrect order, but was told they couldn't access the email. What made this even more frustrating was how unaccommodating the employee was. Knowing there was no realistic way for me to drive 20 minutes back to the restaurant before closing, I expected at least some effort to find a reasonable solution. Instead, I felt like I was simply being told there was nothing they could do. When I said I would contact upper management for a resolution via email, the employee even seemed relieved, rather than concerned about resolving the issue. I understand mistakes happen, but the restaurant made the mistake--not me. The least they could have done was offer a refund for an overpriced burrito that I didn't even order. It's now past midnight, and I have to drive way out of my way just to find somewhere that's still open to get food. Omg, I saw this establishment on tik tok and had to try it when in Lo's Angeles. We finished biking the Santa Monica pier, and was hungry. I was always told to have a taco when in Los Angeles. And it was perfect that I have Brick and Fliur bookmarked on my LA food collections. We ordered a lot more food to try out. We ordered the carne asada fries, fresh chips and salsa, el pastor burrito, and fish tacos. The fish taco was so delicious and flavorful. The sauce was a creamy siracha mayo aioli. With purple pickled cabbage. The carne asada fries we got was a size large and it was so filling that we didn't get to eat the burrito. The guacamole and crispy fries were amazing. This place was such a fun surprise! The location was easy to find, although parking in the front isn't ideal we made it work. When we walked in we were greeted immediately with a welcoming smile. We ordered a torta and the carne asada fries. The serving was so generous and the food was so flavorful. There's not much seating aside from a few stools and a high top area as it's more of a pickup spot. But either way I would recommend it. Randomly picked up on this place, the House Special Burrito is really good (menu photo for contents). The chipotle aioli sauce added so much flavor to the burrito and has a nice little kick to it. The burrito comes in a big size, so it makes up for the price of the burrito a little bit. I found street parking for this location. The parking lot directly behind this place does not allow parking for Brick and Flour. The door said PULL, but it went the other direction instead and the person who was behind the door pulled towards them as we were entering the establishment. You order the food first and they will call your name when the order is ready. As we were waiting for our food, there was a lot of wind coming from the open door. I tried to close the door to stay warm, but I think the door was broken because it wouldn't remain closed. Also, as we were waiting, we noticed bugs flying in from the door and going to the window (saw a big mosquito in front of where I was and some little gnats of some sort). Due to the door remaining opened, I was really cold and couldn't be comfortable. Even another lady sitting next to us tried shutting it, couldn't do it, so she moved to another spot while waiting for her food. There really wasn't any tables for you to enjoy your food. We went there hoping to eat there and celebrate a birthday. There were a few counter spots with chairs, that maybe 10 people at most can sit and eat. I feel like the spots that were available are meant for people to sit and wait for their food to be ready and takeaway. I don't consider this place as a sit down restaurant. They do have some room in the front that they can add a few tables and chairs for guests to sit down and eat. Their food was a little pricy for what it was. However, the quesadilla that I ordered wasn't bad for the size I got. They have a regular size and a large size for the nachos/fries. It is definitely sharable with friends! It was more Americanized than we hoped for. The Pastor didn't taste like authentic Mexican flavors. But the food overall, wasn't bad. It also comes with spicy and mild salsa. The carne asada fries were my favorite. The carne asada was well seasoned, and the fries were still hot and fresh. The guac and the pico all balanced well with the fries and carne. Would say this is a must order. The elote was decent and was seasoned well but unfortunately the corn itself wasn't sweet. As the restaurant describes itself, they do not focus on traditional Mexican food and is executed in Tex Mex style. It is a hole in the wall, so the space is very small with very limited seating. On the day of the visit, it was slightly uncomfortable too as the door was broken and thus was constantly propped open, making the interior rather cold on a winter LA night. That was probably the biggest downside and the staff did not want to close the door. I do work in Glendale on occasion so I made sure I stopped in. I would pass by this restaurant all the time but didn't know this place existed. The restaurant itself isn't huge. But there are a couple tables if you do want to dine in. The staff here has always been very good at taking our order and then everything else is made to order so there's a slight way but your food comes out shortly after. They do have a big menu board that hangs on the back and you're able to see how much everything is. If you don't want to wait make sure to order online directly or through a food ordering site. I always get the sidewinder fries so it's a mix of curly and wedge fries. Definitely ask for salsa so you're able to get more of a salty taste if that's what your preference is. 4 stars for the burritos. 2 stars for the service. We realized they forgot our order after we saw several others who came after us eating their orders first. Finally they asked what our order was, and then quickly prepared it. We had already waited about 15 minutes by that point for a burrito. The burrito itself was really good. Not the best I've had even in Santa Clarita, but not bad by any standard. If it weren't for the poor service, we would've come back. Besides the service, the other negatives were that the price is quite higher than some other burritos we've had, but the burritos themselves aren't exceptionally better. We think they should price these at around $9, not $14. There's also a 5% "service charge" which does nothing at all, except taking more of our money. There are no signs posted about this extra 5% service fee, not even at the register. We only found out after checking our receipt and seeing we were charged extra for absolutely nothing. Very scammy if you ask me. If you need more money, raise your prices - we were tricked, and won't be going back. read more

I do think it is a little pricey but I didn't mind since ingredients tasted fresh. I don't mind paying more as long as the freshness of the ingredients justify that price and I got the sense that this place tries to use fresh ingredients. I brought it back and said I cracked my tooth where the employee stated "it must have been the beans". I asked for the manager to call me as was only looking for reimbursement for the tooth repair. Went back two more times with my bill from the dentist and not one call from the management. In addition, they didn't offer a replacement or refund for the burrito. I went to my dentist and she said that I was the second person from them with a broken tooth.
