Absolutely delicious! We tried the bean and cheese burrito with carne asada and the asada mulita, and both were amazing. The carne asada was flavorful and well-seasoned, and the mulita was the standout. They use high-quality, melty cheese and fresh homemade tortillas that make a huge difference. Everything tasted fresh and was cooked perfectly. We'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend giving this place a try! And also the service was SUPER quick. Really great vegan options but there has been ONE time where I ended up finding meat in my food. However, they apologized and fixed my order for me, very kind staff. I am SO disappointed! I drove past here and saw a good crowd so I searched the reviews and they were good. Sooo, why not give it a try! I went back the next day, in the early evening and it was only myself and 2 other customers. I was waiting to be acknowledged and it never happened... the lady at the window ignored me and addressed the guy who came in after me and then when she was done with him, turned her back on me and still did not acknowledge me. Ok.... I'm just waiting. Patiently. Finally, I caught her eye and she said: "One second." Ok...no problem. Then she finally turned around and leaned down and asked what I wanted. I just wanted 2 shrimp tacos. Ok...total was $6 and some change. No problem. Waited for about 10 minutes and she called me over and gave me my bag. Drove back home and was ready to check this out. Ummmmm.....no! To start, absolutely NO seasoning, but that is ok because I can put my sauces on it. But, the kicker was when I tried to pick up the soft taco and it fell right apart. I could not pick it up, no parts of it. I ate it with a fork, and it looked like vomit. Thankfully, it did not taste as bad as it looked, especially after I added some flavor to it. All in all, the experience was HORRIBLE! The wet taco with dry ingredients was a bit questionable. Asada was good, al pastor and cabeza were not bad either, I personally prefer al pastor on the crispier side so will have to ask and see if they can make it extra crispy next time. Prices are good for these days, many places charge $2.5-3 per taco now, which is insane, only a few years ago $1-1.5 was the norm. Here it's still just under $2 and the meat ratio is ideal in my opinion. 6 of them got me full, you can probably get away with 4-5 if not too hungry. Salsas are decent, and they don't sting out on peripherals - pickled jalapeños and carrots, radishes, limes. The service was pretty quick too and they have outside sitting. The food is always great here. If you're looking for some authentic Mexican food that you can pickup quickly and take home or eat at their outdoor seating this is the place. I'll get some pics next time I stop by but I'm here minimum twice a month I have to admit. When I don't feel like cooking dinner or didn't have time, I know the family will be happy with a meal from here. This place might just be my new go to spot for Mexican food! You can't beat the prices. Less than $3 per taco and they're full of meat? Amazing. This small business is located in a little corner and parking can be a little tough to get, but so worth it! We got a feast of food: al pastor, birria, fish and lengua tacos, aqua frescas, and a quesadilla. All tasted delicious! The birria did not come with consommé. I've been eating at this on the go fast El Tap since my college years . Best midnight , grab , snack and go. I love everything on the menu and have tried and sampled most of their dishes. Very affordable and you get A LOT for what you pay for and it's sooooo goooooood , very mom and pop and very authentic. The service is always excellent and they always give you extra of everything . The meat is fresh and the chicken flautas are crunchy and fresh . My favorite is the cheese quesadilla... not cheap on the cheese it runs cheesy and so delicious. No problem with finding a parking space at 330 pm on Saturday afternoon. There is no indoor dining room, only outside table and chairs. This is a walk up window type of fast food joint. Not sure if it was an old Der Weinerschnitzel as it has the classic steep A-framed roof. I browsed the menu board for a minute, stepped to the window, and ordered a bean-cheese burrito, a pastor burrito, and a double bacon cheeseburger togo. It seemed that I wasn't sitting too long, about 10 minutes, when she called me to pick up my order. Carolina offered me the radishes, pickled jalapeno, carrots, and she put two of red and green salsas in the bag. I was out of there in under 15 minutes. YMMV. The two burritos will be leftovers as I chose to eat the burger first. I wish the bacon was crispier but they were not. It's a good burger, would have been much better with crispy bacon. I've been coming to this place for over 35 years: before they opened this physical location: Food truck on San Fernando Road by Chevy Chase. For me: it's like time just stood still. The Tacos are exactly the same: I will drive out of my way anytime I'm near Glendale. Burrito: the item you HAVE to Get!!! They add one small slice of cheese that like nothing you can compare it to. Sounds odd however it just makes it all come together. How to Eat Burrito: yes there is small science to get the right taste. 1) take small bite to crack open burrito 2) little squeeze of limón 3) dash of salt 4) little salsa (green) ENJOY ... Highly recommend: order few burritos to go. No one will believe you when you get home that you just had the best burrito in Los Angeles County. This place was terrible could've been an off night -- The one thing I asked for was no rice in my burrito and they gave me extras rice so incredibly dry. They in-fact do not stay open till 3:30 AM on Saturday I think I left there about 1 AM and they were closing up very big misconception especially if you're looking for somewhere to eat after hours and you see that they're open until 3:30 AM and get there at 1:15 to see that they're closed it's very deceiving. Definitely will go to their competitor El Sauz when I go back to Glendale, which is no time soon read more
