Chicken Pomodori sandwich
Aaron O.

Super tasty breads - excellent. My wife and I came through while tonight and tried their 2 for 6.99 deal after seeing it on instagram and I was really impressed. I tried the beef sandwich, which was basically an elevated version of a traditional roast beef sandwich, but with a nice sauce and some crunchy bits on top. I also tried their shrimp scampi pasta, which was my personal favorite. Very buttery, the tomatoes had a lovely sweetness, and the shrimp were juicy too. The place was mostly empty when we arrived for an early dinner but filled up quick! The service was solid and helpful and they got everything out pretty quickly - roughly 12 min or so from order to table. We loved the deal especially...we'll be coming back to try more of the sandwiches and pastas, and kudos to corner bakery for running these deals and giving us a great excuse to get out and try something new :)

Bacon & Cheddar Panini & large iced truffle mocha

You're greeted with such a warm welcome the moment you walk in. The service is always fast, my order is always accurate, and you can tell every meal is made with care. My go-to is the bacon and cheese panini with a side of their incredible salsa, paired with an iced truffle mocha... it's absolutely amazing!

Chicken noodle soup

Disgusting this place has gone downhill ordered a chicken noodle soup and got mushy paste you can't even make out what's in it. It tastes cheesy and not like a soup. Never again. Gross.

entry way was even dirty

first off I wanna say something positive about the pancakes... The pancakes were so yummy and so fluffy. This establishment was by far the most dirtiest. I almost walked out when I went inside the bathroom and saw a mass destruction of diarrhea around the toilet seat in the women's bathroom. The are so dirty throughout the restaurant, the tables were all filled with crumbs, so you know none of the tables were wiped down as well. The were really dark, but you can tell they were cleaned in a while and the carpet that was there was so so disgustingly dirty. I don't even know how this establishment can get away with being this unclean. It seemed like a health risk being there.

Dental work today so I have soup for lunch. I guess everything is expensive now. $7.69 for a cup of soup, and $3.59 for a small drink. They are not very busy at lunch. Sad I missed the $7 panini by a day or 2. That would have been a good value. Surprised at the wait for a cup of soup....was hoping it came with bread. It didn't. Wondering how the soup is made. Chunks of potatoes were firm and super hot. Hotter than the rest of the soup. Order it with no green onion because they overpower the taste. It's good. Relaxing place.

Breakfast Basket from Corner Bakery!

Corner Bakery in Burbank is one of the businesses that not only has great food, but also is giving back to the community. Thank you Raffi & Zohra for breakfast donation for Teacher Appreciation Week. Our staff enjoyed every bite of it!

We were on our way in traffic and needed to make a pit stop. On walking in, I am not familiar with the area yet it seems like this is a local chain that gives vibes like Panera would? The staff were friendly yet were in training so it took a bit to get our drinks (salted caramel lattes) and they were worth it :)

A bit of a fav of ours from past visits so thought we have breaky here this morning Nothings changed service is good food is a reasonable sized serving and coffee is good ( serve yourself form vac pumps ) This time was disappointing as the food was barely warm and the potatoes were actually cold , not sure how you achieve that other than letting it sit unattended for to long Will be back but not rushing

every day since the last time i updated the review (still one star by the way). the link that @terance c. posted doesnt work . clearly youre not taking this seriously and i hope the other yelpers reading this dont stop and eat at this establishment. they serve you moldy pastries the manager doesnt apologize and the owner plays games . save your time and money and go somewhere else.

Great options from soups to salads to sandwiches and of course bakery goods. Great for lunch. The chicken lemon orzo soup was delicious.

Dirty floor. Dirty restroom. Waited 20 minutes for a breakfast sandwich. Probably would have been better off at Starbucks. Won't return.

When it comes to Mediterranean food, SOTTA in Burbank does a great job this side of the Adriatic…read moreSea. Although Raffi's in Glendale is usually my go-to spot, I met a friend here for lunch and it was a nice change of scenery. Not only did I love the idea of having an outdoor patio almost to ourselves, but the inside is really cute with its retro mint accents, old school chairs, and wooden tabletops. I also loved looking at the Old World Hollywood black & white photos up on the walls. The only conundrum is finding a seat inside since this place fills up quickly during the lunch rush hours. Also, some folks just park it so they can work on their laptops while sipping on coffee -- not that I can blame 'em. Their Mediterranean, Lebanese-inspired cuisine, and fusion-inspired grill fare is delicious and the portion sizes are ample. Juicy tomatoes and slightly charred zucchini and summer squash sat vibrantly on my plate. Their savory chicken breast kabobs are made with authentic spices, but more on the lean, dry side. So I prefer their falafels, dolmas, and grilled veggies on my plate. SOTTA touts their Tomato Soup as "the best in town". Not sure I'd agree. My bowl was piping hot, but a bit on the bland side. I'd personally opt for another salad if given a choice: Their babaganoush is creamy, Greek salad is crisp, while the Shirazi Salad and Quinoa Tabbouleh won't disappoint. I'll have to try the Sautéed Mushrooms next time because the red wine, teriyaki, and garlic marinade piqued my interest. As for their drink menu, the coffee is excellent. Or try a 20 oz. matcha that's infused with passion fruit or guava. It's worth the splurge. Although Skaf's in Highland Park is still my fave Lebanese restaurant, I'll still make my way over to SOTTA next time on this side of the hill. It's still continents closer than the Adriatic Sea.

Sorta used to be one of my go-to places, especially since it's within walking distance of my house…read more Unfortunately, my last two orders have been noticeably different from the quality and portions I had received in the past, and yesterday's order was especially disappointing. I ordered chicken breast, and the portions were surprisingly inconsistent. One piece was a reasonable size, while the other was significantly smaller and did not feel like a proper portion. The biggest disappointment was the Caesar salad with salmon. It came with only two very small pieces of salmon--approximately 1.5 ounces total. Honestly, even my cat would have been disappointed with that portion! It genuinely looked like they were down to their last small piece of salmon and divided it between the salad. As someone who is Persian and grew up eating this type of food regularly, I'm very familiar with the flavors, quality, and portions I would expect. Unfortunately, the food this time was well below average, both in taste and value. I would rate the taste about 2/10. It's especially disappointing because I previously enjoyed ordering from Sorta and appreciated having a convenient neighborhood option so close to home. But after two disappointing experiences in a row, I can't justify the price for the portions and quality I received. Sadly, I don't see myself returning. It's very sad that u spend 77$ for lunch for two and not be satisfied

It felt like it needed a protein , or some kind aioli, it was dry and not super tasty. Coffees were ok. 70$ for 2 people to eat breakfast and 2 coffees, A bit pricey, and you order at the counter and have options for 18,20,25% tip , which felt weird and pressured to do before my food had even arrived. So I tipped 11$ for someone to bring me out food I guess. Ambiance was nice, very empty but pretty inside. I would go back to try their wood fired pizza. Not sure I'll be back for breakfast.

It was actually hard to decide on just one bakery item - everything looked delicious. Next time the coffee cake will be happening. I got poached eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast. Husband got a hash omelette. Both come with a lovely little side of greens with a great dressing. Brunch isn't brunch without a little libation, so I had a lovely French white wine and he had a French red. The wine list though small by the glass is chosen very well. We were hoping they sold their bread at the bakery because it's absolutely delicious. Service is warm and friendly. Price point for breakfast with tip was $100. We will definitely be coming back soon to this great neighborhood spot.
