I got most beautiful poke bowl I've ever seen -- truly a work of art. They also had some really unique bases and toppings I've never seen before too. Another nice thing about this place is that they are right next to a place that serves matcha drinks. A poke bowl + a matcha latte? That's some good stuff.

~ TRY MISS REMI'S BOWL!!! ~ (ends January) I've ate this for a week straight. Remi's bowl is soo good!! It has truffle spicy mayo! It has crispy noodles on top! It has wasabi furikake! Just trust me. They have seating inside and out. The service is super fast and you can get $5 off ordering on their website.

    Classic Tuna Poke Bowl

Loved everything about the Classic Tuna Poke Bowl I ordered! The black (forbidden) rice, yellowfin tuna, salmon, red onions, avocado, seaweed salad, bean sprouts, and pickled ginger were a great combination. I just added a banana chili pepper and it tasted fresh and delicious! There was an online promotion today so the bowl was $12.18 instead of $20.30 (without taxes). I thought the portion would be on the smaller side but it was not the case at all. I am full, satisfied, and would order again!!

Sweetfin is hands down my favorite poke spot. It's not like traditional Hawaiian poke you'd get at a fish market, but that wasn't what I was looking for anyway. I went with my family, and we tried a bunch of different options--everything was a hit. Compared to other poke chains, Sweetfin stands out with higher-end, more unique ingredients like forbidden rice and daikon sprouts. We tried a few bowls and also ordered two sweetboxes, but honestly, we should've skipped the sweetboxes. You get way more fish with the bowls. Our favorites were the spicy tuna and the yuzu salmon--both were super flavorful. We also tried the matcha tea, but it was just okay and nothing special. Overall, great quality ingredients, fresh flavors, and definitely worth coming back for more!

Ordered a kids bowl to try this spot for the first time online. Very disappointed order didn't have any sauces that was put in the request, amount of fish was about 6 pieces shown in photo. Photo is how the order looked after opening

I've eaten Sweetfin dozens of times when the office brings it in. Their poke bowls are always reliable and tasty, albeit a bit expensive for the size. I've been craving a sushi burrito ever since our standby Raku Teriyaki closed down, so I tried their poke burrito with salmon and forbidden rice. The gluten free tortilla was pretty good (although I prefer the soy paper of sushi) and everything tasted fresh. I just think it could have a little more fish? There was a lot of other filler (which was still good), I just wanted a little more. I will still get it again though. Love spicy cucumber salads. This one had a great crunchy topping. It could have used a little more heat? All in all an easy take out choice!

I'm so glad there was a healthy option nearby my hotel. Sweetfin offers fresh, healthy, and delicious poke bowls. They're generous with their portions and there are lots of mix-in, toppings, and dressings to choose from. Mango and edamame is so good! The only drawback was their ordering system. There's one only ginormous kiosk and the problem I'm finding with these systems is that their UI is a bit confusing, you can't keep track of what you did/didn't add to your bowl and when you need help, employees aren't even in the room. I totally missed ordering a drink! I'll come back and hopefully get a drink on my order!

Today is Wednesday 6/5/24 and the gentleman...yes...I said gentleman who worked today at 12:15pm was very KIND and Helpful!! And greeted me. So 5 stars for him!! Food here has always been 5 stars.

    Plastic in my food :(

I order from you guys all the time.. And the quality of bowls have been pretty bad lately. I always order the same thing, but the bowls have been coming more and more different. One time my bowl was entirely black because they over dressed it with sauce... this time there's wayyy to much salmon. I paid for extra but not for an entire fish.... And on top of that, today.... I get my food and slice my mouth open because there's a piece of broken plastic in my food It sucks, I really liked this place.

Build Your Own (B.Y.O.B.) Poke Bowl

I have visited this location in Burbank a number of times. They offer poke bowls, box sampler and burritos in a variety of options; plant based, seafood, keto and superfood. I usually go with building my own poke bowl. The ingredients are fresh, the regular and large size are good portions and the staff is always helpful with the menu (I like trying different combinations). There are 2 small tables for 2 inside and a couple of tables and chairs for outside seating. Seems to be more of a pick up and go type of place but I'd you plan to dine in, make time for 10 extra minutes to find parking if you drive. I have enjoyed every order to date. Never has disappointed.

It was a long wait and I couldn't figure out the app without Wi-Fi so that was frustrating but the Yuzu poke bowl is great and I wish they had one in south Orange County! Andrea is the manager and she's amazing! She brought me some guava lemonade to accompany my lunch. The salmon is so fresh.

I've been to a few other Sweetfin locations and I've always had a good experience. I like they have options like black rice and kelp noodles. I got them both in my bowl - but that might have been too healthy, lol. I got that for my bowl with albacore and yellowtail. Got my husband's bowl with bamboo rice with salmon and albacore. I don't like that you can only get two proteins, even if you get the large bowl. I would have added tuna. Overall the bowls were fresh, but mine tasted a bit too healthy? Could have also been the sauce - I chose the miso sesame shoyu. Still I do like this place and their unique options.

    so cute!!

Located right in downtown Burbank, you walk in and order at the counter, you get a number, and they bring the food out to your table when ready. It's very casual, plenty of seating inside and outside. Staff were super friendly and welcoming, which is a huge deal and very rare nowadays. They even had a new happy hour special. Who doesn't love a $3 beer with lunch? As for the food, I was thoroughly impressed! Pastrami melt was amazing! Full of delicious pastrami, melted cheese, and pickles. So delicious! Fries looked like they were actual fresh made fries, not frozen, which was a nice surprise. I could also tell that they make their ranch from scratch. The bbq chicken sandwich was also delicious. Side salad was super fresh. Everything was so delicious! Portions nice; prices fair. I am impressed with Wild Carvery because I could tell that the ingredients are fresh and the quality is high. I also suspect that they make their own pickles? But I'm not sure. If quality and freshness are important to you, I highly recommend checking out Wild Carvery. Little Nelly may elicit a Whoa Nelly after your first try…read more I just wrapped up a takeout lunch, snack, and beverage from Little Nelly and felt compelled to work off all the extra calories I just consumed by doing some rapid typing exercise on Yelp. The shop is completely non-descript from the street. The lettering is small and the windows are tinted and you feel like you're about to enter a drab office, but when you open the door, you're treated to a feast for the senses. The space spans a mix of cafe, boutique gift shop, and bodega. Everything feels curated and little discoveries await you for those who are culinary minded. For example, I discovered that they sell frozen burritos from Las Palmas and frozen pizzas from Mozza?! Someone clearly knows their way across the culinary food map of Los Angeles. If you can pry your eyes long enough from wandering the corners of the store, you can finally place your order of breakfast, lunch or coffee/tea. I just took my cold cuts sandwich on house-made ciabatta to the proverbial mattress. The bread had enough structure to handle the piles of quality deli meats, yet was less dense than some other ciabatta breads I've tried. But, it did an admirable job packing in the flavors from the spicy peppers, cheese, meats. Wow. I'm just gonna say that this cold cuts sandwich was one of my top 3 from LA. As I grazed the bakery display, a patron whispered that I should try the biscuit with jam and butter. The guy was wearing Cheetos socks so I immediately felt that his recommendation was trustworthy. I threw in my lot with the biscuit and oh boy, did it (and his recommendation) deliver. Humble looking on the outside, there's a nice salted, buttery crust to the exterior that opens up to an inviting platform to slather on creamy butter and jam. I fully understand why he felt the extra calories were worth it. I'd do it again. Of course, I couldn't order a biscuit without a drink, so I tried their summery limoncello cream iced matcha with oat milk - summers in Kyoto and Sicily combine for a refreshing and satisfyingly creamy bever-"aaage" that adds some pep to your step, even when the mercury pushes past 100. Enjoyed with the biscuit, I was darn near ready to call it a day as I had probably experienced my best moment of the day. Little Nelly is officially on my weekly rotation from here on out.

I don't live in the area, but I have friends who do, and I often swing by when I'm in town because I also get my hair done at Dylan Keith salon nearby. What I love about it: it's a perfect place to pick up a thoughtful gift for the foodie in your life, and the food is consistently fantastic with something new to try each visit. The display and packaging feel special--even the jars add a cute touch. Recent highlights: I went with the Lil Guy sandwich with French ham and a chocolate chip cookie to-go. So good on the drive home to Orange County. I also grabbed a jar of their buttermilk dressing to save time at home, and I brought home a quiche and a biscuit--both were amazing. They rotate items based on what's in season, which keeps things exciting. Why I'll be back: it's a small business that truly cares about quality and presentation. The location is convenient, the staff are friendly, and there are plenty of tasty items to bring home, including make-at-home pizzas and a rotating seasonal lineup. - Broken Compass Tiki…read more My girlfriend and I absolutely loved Broken Compass Tiki. I originally found it on TikTok, followed up with a few YouTube videos, and knew I had to check it out the next time we were in Burbank. It completely lived up to the hype. Parking can be a little challenging since it's in Burbank, but we got lucky and found a street parking spot nearby. If you don't get as lucky, driving around the block or into the surrounding neighborhood should eventually turn something up. We arrived about 20 minutes after they opened, and there were already several people inside. By the time we left, the place was filling up quickly, so it's definitely a popular spot. I surprised my girlfriend by keeping the destination a secret and just telling her we were going somewhere fun with a unique theme. She loved it. From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding. Both the bartender and our server were incredibly welcoming. Our server asked whether it was our first visit and took the time to ask what kinds of drinks we normally enjoy before making recommendations. I really appreciated that he wasn't just trying to upsell us. Instead, he explained why he thought certain cocktails were better choices based on our preferences, and every recommendation ended up being spot on. As you'd expect from a tiki bar, the cocktail menu is heavily rum-focused, but there are also non-alcoholic drinks, a small beer selection, and wine available if rum isn't your thing. I ordered the Zombie Magic first, which was delicious and definitely packed a punch. After that, I tried the 100 Year Cigar, a Scotch-based cocktail that was perfect for slowly sipping. Both drinks were fantastic. My girlfriend ordered the Painkiller and the Navy Grog, and she loved both of them. We started with the Shut It Polly wings, crispy chicken wings tossed in a spicy Thai peanut sauce, and they were outstanding. We also ordered the Aloha Dippers with the Cajun seasoning. I paired mine with the Chipotle Citrus Aioli, while my girlfriend chose the Firecracker sauce. Both dipping sauces were excellent and complemented the fries really well. For our entrées, I ordered the Pub Burger with Irish cheddar, onion strings, and horseradish aioli, cooked to order. It was excellent. My girlfriend ordered the Shrimp & Lobster Roll, and we both enjoyed it. The only item that didn't quite meet our expectations was the macaroni salad that came with our meals. We've had some incredible macaroni salad at Hawaiian restaurants, and this one just didn't quite compare. It certainly wasn't bad, but it was the one part of the meal that didn't stand out. One thing that really impressed me was how accommodating the staff was regarding my raw fruit allergy. I explained what I could and couldn't safely eat or drink, and our server took it seriously. He made sure every cocktail recommendation was safe for me without sacrificing flavor or experience. That level of attention made me feel comfortable ordering drinks I otherwise might have avoided. The décor is also worth mentioning. The pirate-themed exterior transitions into a fun pirate-and-tiki atmosphere inside that really adds to the experience without feeling overdone. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations. The drinks were strong and creative, the food was excellent, the service was some of the best we've had in a long time, and the atmosphere was a blast. There are still plenty of cocktails on the menu that I'd like to try, so we'll definitely be back the next time we're in Burbank.

This place really made you feel like Captain Jack Sparrow was going to jump out at every corner. It so themed for a tiki bar, but if pirates and mermaids had a place to hang out this would be that place. From the decor to the detailed bathroom sounds and the menu item names. You couldn't escape the theme anyway and I loved it! We were gathering for a friends birthday and there was 30 of us. Couldn't believe we found enough seats for us in the back area but we did. The staff was there to keep drinks flowing and keep food coming. The portion for their poke nachos was unreal. Do i wish they put a bit more poke on the dish? Yes. But it was still one of my favorite dishes of the night. The drinks were all so cute and they had ample non alcoholic mocktails as well which were yummy. If you want a speakeasy feel (you lieterally go through a secret door in the wall) and an under the sea eperience while ctching up with friends, you can totally do it here. For my friends birthday they rang some bell and all sang happy birthday to her which was so cool. Why was the bathroom the coolest part? They literally have ocean sounds and seaguls for you to hear while using the restroom. Theres even a fan in the bathroom to make you feel like you're next to the ocean because I kept fighting that darn toilet seat cover to stay put. Such a fun night and will be back for the vibes. Special s/o to Amanda and all her crew the night we were there. They helped out with photos, drinks, and keeping food going all night. She had such a great team with her that night. Everyone was helping us out even finding us chairs and clearing tables so we could make room for more food.
