I make it a point to try chorizo breakfast burritos whenever I visit a restaurant, and I can honestly say this was one of the best I've had. Everything tasted incredibly fresh. The chorizo was flavorful without being greasy, the potatoes were perfectly crisp, and the cheese was melted throughout the burrito. The avocado was fresh and paired perfectly with the other ingredients. Even the flour tortilla stood out soft, fresh, and held everything together beautifully. The portion size was huge. I couldn't finish the entire burrito, but every bite was delicious and satisfying. The salsa served on the side was the perfect complement and added just the right amount of flavor and heat. The service was also outstanding. Our food came out quickly, and everything arrived fresh, hot, and exactly as ordered. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. My Wife and I went for Breakfast today (Memorial Day) and place was packed. But here's the good part, the food was on point and temperature was perfect. Our Waitress Cindi was friendly and though they were slammed at the moment still took time to make it feel like a warm environment, She brought our food out in little time after ordering (Surprising considering how busy they were.) The tables were clean and they even had a dedicated coffee person who was walking and refilling coffee - A Vital Service where I am concerned lol. We had a great overall experience (albeit a bit noisy but I mean, Hey, it was packed) and I felt like Corky's did an incredible job in staffing and food prep on such a frantic day. When my daughter's soccer tournament rotation finds us spending the better part of a weekend in lovely Highland, CA at the spike-top fence field nestled in the middle of a high-density homeless population... the need for a comfortable, pleasant, and safe restaurant to feed the team between games it's important. Today, we discovered Corky's just down the road a bit, and we were very impressed. First, we called ahead on Valentine's morning to let them know we were coming with 20+ people. No problem-- when we arrived, the staff welcomed us as other staff was preparing a long table for our group on the patio. No trouble for separate checks. Constant amazing service-- coffees and waters never fell below half full, and everyone was positive and attentive. The menu is substantial, but everything was delicious. My 5-egg omelet was delicious, and the kid's strawberry pancake stack was decadent and delicious looking (i fought the urge to break my low carb kick...) It's the same as any other Corky's. Portion sizes were okay & food quality was basic. We went the day after they opened & we're expecting better to be honest. The food felt rushed so that's why quality was down in my opinion. Plus, their menu is huge which is great if you want options, but it also is a negative because that means they can't control food quality because there is too much to cook and prep. This was a new restaurant we wanted to try. It has the American diner feel and is known for their pies. I wish would could give Jackie our server 5 stars she tried to give us an amazing experience unfortunately the food fell short. The price of the food and drinks are on the higher side for a diner type of restaurant so we expected quality. We recived bland large meals. I order the eggs and sausage plate and when I got mine they put a hamburger patty instead of the sausage. Jackie was quick with it and had them get a sausage patty working for me, it came out shortly and when received it and took a bit it was raw through out. This is pork so has to be complety cooked or can pass on food born illness. I unfortunately lost my appetite. The rest of my party don't really care for the food so we won't be going back. We were here on a late afternoon and it wasn't very busy. The place was very clean. I had the Parmesan burger with an impossible patty and we also got the fish and chips. The burger was delicious and I got the fried onions on the side. You get a hearty portion of fried onions. The fish and chips were cooked to perfection with juicy fish inside. The service was good although the waitress never came back after we ordered but there were plenty of other waiters around to help us. I think she dropped off the check. This place is kind of expensive as usual but at least u do get two meals worth of food for every serving. All in all a good experience. We'll Probably be back. read more

I was completely disappointed in the food at this restaurant. My first time eating here and the reviews were great so I was excited. I ordered avocado toast. I received one slice of sour dough bread with a dollop of guacamole on it with lots of arugula and two crumbles of feta cheese and 4 cherry tomatoes cut in half. The best part was the poached eggs. I ordered it without radishes. The $15.99 price seemed reasonable until it arrived. This did not have avocado it had a smearing of guacamole. The bread was barely toasted. I ate four bites and didn't finish it. Service was mediocre at best. I bought a pie and haven't tried it yet but I don't have much confidence in it either. Not going there again. I was in the mood for something different than an omelet, ( thats my go to at the other location ) so I asked you waitress If the corn beef hash was made with fresh corned beef and she told me yes, and I ordered it. When she brought out my plate I can see right away that it was a canned product not fresh. I took a few bites anyway just in case. After those few bites, I could not eat anything else not even my biscuits and gravy and those are always great. I spent the rest of the day with my stomach turning and getting sick. Food was mid. both of our scrambled eggs were over cooked , hash browns and country potatoes under cooked, sausage under cooked , bland steak. Biscuits and gravy trash. Overall everything was very underwhelming. I don't know how the cook burns eggs , but undercooks sausage. The waiter was nice and he did take 8 dollars of my bill. They also have the plate/glass receptacle right behind the booth we were sitting at, and it was very obnoxious to hear them dropping glasses and plates constantly.
