Very friendly place. We sat at the bar, & we thought they would have more of a selection of draft beers like the old place. Was a bit disappointed about that. We had an IPA that was ok, but not really what we wanted. Food was good, but we ordered an appetizer but came out with our sandwich as extra, so no fries and a full appetizer. The bartender was nice, as that is where we sat. She was the only one behind the bar and when the restaurant filled up she was more focused on getting drinks for them instead of the people sitting at the bar top. Also, the 4 TV's they have we think should be on different channels. Just a suggestion. One more thing your parking lot is awful for the size of your place, especially handicap. Dined at the new, gorgeously built, eureka burger yesterday. Eileen has a wealth of knowledge and her service is top tier behind the bar. As soon as I sat at the bar, I was immediately greeted with a smile and offered a couple of their specialty drinks. I decided to go with one of their seasonal beers on draft. The manger, Sandra, was walking the floor and making sure everyone was enjoying their time. We talked a little about the transition from the old location to the new one, and it seems like a flawless move from old to new. Thank you for the fantastic afternoon! Food: good Food Service/wait staff: good Not honoring more than one $10 food & beverage card? Not cool. We had 4 promo gift cards we received as a Christmas gift worth $10 each. We attempted to use them last month and were told it's only 2 max per table even though it says "one per guest" on the back. Fine, we saved the other 2 for next time. The next time was tonight. We were told tonight only 1 max per check, it's "our new policy". I asked her if the back of the card said one per visit and she said "no, it says one per guest, but the cards are our old ones". We literally just used 2 last month. She stated the GM said she would not let us use both cards. In my opinion, management should honor the cards we have as what they state on the back. Regardless of them being "old" cards they still need to be honored as per the restrictions on the back. I'm extremely sad because we enjoy this place, but the decent thing to do is honor our cards that are legitimate cards. If you are refusing to honor them, at least put a sign up that states you are no longer honoring them as per the terms in the back of the cards. Will have to find a new spot. Any general manager could have easily honored both cards to keep loyal customers. Not a good business practice. read more

Nice new location in what appears to be a newly redeveloped neighborhood around the train station. Plenty of free parking (not sure why an other review mentioned a parking fee.) I was there at noon today. Hostess seated me promptly; then I waited at least 15 minutes for a server. The hostess finally noticed and asked if anyone had taken my order; so she took my order herself. There were only about a dozen customers. The volume from the TVs was earsplitting (sports.) Mens room was out of towels, and the electric hand dryer didn't work. No one came by to offer a second drink until I was paying my bill (too late.) I never saw these problems at my half-dozen visits to the old location. The food, I'm happy to report, is still excellent. read more

Was excited to check out the new location, so I invited some friends and we went. First, park in the structure; otherwise it's $6/hour. Awful. I thought maybe the food would have improved, but sadly, it didn't. I ordered a lavender tea because I used to love it. Not anymore. It's bitter (the bags steeped for too long), and they changed their recipe to now not include sugar (or maybe it was simple syrup? I don't know, but it's gone). So there was that $6 drink. Then, because I'm vegetarian, I swapped out the barbecue bacon burger for a veggie patty and hold the bacon ($20). Well, they also managed to hold the barbecue sauce and the flavor. The whole thing was tasteless -- even the barbecue sauce AND the fried onions. I don't know how that could have been. Two of the most distinct flavorings with zero flavor. Mind blowing. I wasn't surprised about the veggie patty because it's never been good. Highly recommend switching to Impossible. I upgraded the fries to onion rings, so + $3 -- they were decent. So all in all, $35 plus tax and tip for one person and the food tastes like that??? Hard pass. Also, no on the parking fee. That sucked. I will say, the waiter knew it was not a good experience and proactively gave a $10 gift card. It was a very kind and appreciated gesture, but I should have requested the burger be removed altogether from the bill; it was that bad. I didn't finish it. The new place is nice. We have always enjoyed Eureka! Claremont and had decided to give this location a try. I would like to start by saying, the service here is fantastic! Everyone working here was very attentive and made this an enjoyable experience. This Eureka location felt a little smaller, but still had a nice atmosphere. As for the food, I felt the quality wasn't the best. I don't know how to explain it, the food just wasn't as good as it has been. I had tried the lunch special fish and chips, the lettuce wraps, and the mac and cheese balls. The mac and cheese balls were probably my overall favorite thing I had. First time visiting the new location and was not impressed. Parking is terrible. They have a super tiny lot that is for Eureka only and the rest of the parking is shared with the food hall across the street. Inside is OK. Old location had a nice cozy vibe with the dark booths and the neat bar with all the different whiskey bottles displayed. This location is brightly lit with standard tables and boring bar. Nothing special. Sat at the bar-service was great. The drinks were good and the bartender was very attentive. The food however was awful. Took almost 40 minutes for us to get food and our medium rare burgers were well done with no sauce. They gave me the wrong side and the burger patties tasted substandard. Definitely a huge step down from the old location, which we always loved. We used to visit this place monthly and now I'm not sure if I want to go back. read more

This was my second visit to Eureka! At lunch, the inside was closed because there was electrical work underway inside. One month into operations, these issues should have been worked out and certainly before hours. We were seated on the patio, on a day where the temperature was in the mid 90s and there was no misters!! The only breeze was the occasional empty train zipping by! I had the Fresno Fig Burger and Fries. They must have driven to Fresno to get the figs because it took 25-30 minutes to arrive. A more appropriate name for the plate is Fresno Fig Slider because the burger is tiny, closer to a slider than a burger. The fries were good, but the serving seemed to be a ration size. And the ketchup dish had just a splat of ketchup, about 25% of the minimum amount needed for even the small serving of fries. The waitress did a good job keeping my iced tea filled, and that was appreciated. Eureka! still has quite some work to do, including portion sizes, getting food out faster, and installing a mister for the patio. read more

Eureka is a chain and I've been to different locations, and this one is slightly tucked away even though I think it's one of the original locations. The food is generally pretty tasty. This last time I was a little disappointed with some of the flavorings. My mom was with me and she ordered the fish and chips and it was relatively fishy. Service is always great because usually they're not extremely busy so they make sure they pop out and they're very attentive. I would definitely mention, though that inside it always has a very strong (unpleasant) smell so I always opt to sit outside. I will say... I always get their brussels sprouts. We were seated quickly so that was great and we were still during happy hour - another win. Our server was friendly and got our drinks ordered....but then it started to fall apart.... Took a while to get our drinks, then once we ordered food...did not see our server again. We never got to order another drink before happy hour ended and the food never showed up. The 28 dry aged burger is a unique rich and hearty treat you should try the next time you come to Eureka. It had a juicy patty, tomatoes, onion, and a bone marrow horseradish sauce that was delightful. All the flavors complimented each other very well however the burger was a bit salty for my liking. At this restaurant you can choose how well to rare you want your patty. I asked for a medium and received a perfectly pink center patty. The truffle fries were a delicious upgrade that I highly recommend. The only con was they too were salty like the burger. Unfortunately I forgot the name of our waiter but he was very kind and attentive to our requests. He constantly checked on us and communicated with us about our order. One of my favorite local burgers ever is the fig and blue cheese or maybe it's fig and feta burger that Eureka sells! It's definitely delicious. Eureka Redlands has always been a favorite of our family, so we were excited to check out the new location. We made reservations for father's day. When we arrived, they didn't have a table for us, so we got squeezed into a tiny corner table which is reasonably a single person table. We had to ask to be moved to another table which took some time and effort, although we were accommodated. When we placed our order, we were informed that a few things that we wanted were not available, which was disappointing. The food was not as good as it had been. The Brussel sprouts were hard and difficult to eat and the truffle fries were plain. We ordered dessert to go and the server forgot to include half of our order in the bag. Thankfully we realized we were shorted before we drove away. Parking at the new location seems difficult. My family includes one disabled person and there are only a couple spaces out back to accommodate their needs, otherwise its a hike from the parking structure. This may not matter to younger customers, but its a hardship for those who can't make the trek. Sad to say, we are unlikely to return because of the logistics, but hopefully the staff can get it together at the new place. read more

I've been to Eureka at Palm Desert. This is my first time at this location. This Eureka is sandwiched between a nail salon and The Blazin Claw Restaurant. There isn't a sign visible from the main street. This one is smaller than the one at Palm Desert. It does have heated outdoor seating. Seating inside is tight. Our server, John, was super helpful. He took his time to go over the whole menu with me. He's a good salesman. Right off the bat, he talked is into an appetizer from the happy hour menu. The Mac n cheese balls were pretty good. I could've eaten the whole plate! 5/5 John helped me decide on the 28 day aged bone marrow burger. I ordered the burger medium rare. The burger itself was juicy.
