Darbys is best for the good TVs they have inside! Lots around the bar & in the dining room. A great place to watch sports. Vibes are good. Place is clean & they have a decent happy hour. The food is decent, nothing great but not horrible either. Bar food. Service is good but every time I've been, they've needed more.

Fire nachos

Duuuuuuuude *facepalm* ***Disappointment ***Inconsistency The only word that continues to come up is so disappointed. And the catch is, last time we were here (Nov10) the burger was so fire. Let me start from the beginning. When we came back in November we ordered the pulled pork and a burger along with drinks and the Irish Nachos. The appetizer was fire, the burger was delicious, literally the patty melting in my mouth. The pulled pork sandwich on the other hand has to be sent back because it was too salty. I think their orange sauce had an error. Like they put salt instead of sugar when they were making it because it was that salty. Other than that everything was fine and I was gonna put 4 stars **** on my review. AMAZING service, great feel, and totally fun atmosphere. We came back this Friday. About a month apart from last time. Since the burgers were so good we thought that was the preferred pick. My husband got the chimi spicy burger and I got the darbinator, our pick from last time. Idk if their product distributor changed, or hasn't arrived and they went to their mystery meat and bread because we were sooooo surprised and NOT in a good way. Bread on BOTH burgers was stale and dry. It literally crumbled and we took a bite. The square meat patties weren't even seasoned. They felt like they had been frozen and microwaved. Let's just say my medium rare was fully cooked, and not on the stove. The only reason they get 2 stars is because the regular nachos we got this time were good, and service keeps being great. Two burgers gone to waste. We literally left all our food. We learned our lesson. Don't come here for dinner. Maybe appetizers and drinks.

Filled Dining Room on a Saturday Night

On my last visit here the security guard asked my age almost apologetically before allowing me entrance, saying he had to ask. He did not seek any written proof of age afterward, probably because my white hair was ample confirmation of adult status. I would have been flattered if the reason for the inquiry had been based on a suspicion that my physical appearance indicated that I might not be 21. But, alas that did not occur. Bacon Wrapped Shrimp was again a superb starter, with really plump and hot shrimps. And, Classic Chili with Kidney Beans was also hot and excellent. Then I moved on to an Ancho Pulled Pork Sandwich wtih Onion Rings that were good and crunchy but varied widely in size. And I only detected a slight barbecue flavor in the pulled pork. Meanwhile, Diane again enjoyed her Orange Street Fish & Chips with French Fries. We received fine service amid a festive atmosphere of happy cantina goers mostly in their 20s. Demographically we looked out of place, but didn't really care. Most important to us here as elsewhere are the quality and variety of food served. And we both really like tavern food done right.

Been here a few times. Always sit at the bar cause it can be a little packed in here. Today I got the fish tacos and they did not disappoint. Pretty yummy!! The sauce was really good. I'll say, I wish it had more fish on it.

We came in after work and were seated immediately. They have happy hour specials after 9pm til closing so we took advantage of the $8 menu. For dinner, we ordered the spicy chimi burger with fries and the chicken pesto sandwich with onion rings. Split between two people it was a very filling dinner. The ambiance wasn't too loud on a Sunday night and the service was quick and attentive. Darby's made for a nice cap to our evening.

Delicious patty melt and onion rings

This is my first time at Darby's and I enjoyed the experience thoroughly. It's a sports bar with many screens and decent music playing. The help is friendly and professional. The food came out in a timely manner. I had the patty melt, which was delicious. They added a fried egg and avocado, which added some extra taste to the already flavorful hamburger. I definitely recommend this place and plan on returning soon I'm pretty sure you won't be disappointed in the food

It's inside the Redlands Public Market and on a random Monday night, looks to be the busiest restaurant. We got the Bomb Bay, Floozie Lucy & an order of chili cheese fries. The Floozie Lucy was a good burger but I didn't care much for the stuffed patty as I have problems with texture. The main star was the Bomb Bay! It was a double patty with the thickest, crunchiest, most delicious bacon I've ever eaten. It paired well with the jalapeño dressing. It had a little kick and though the burger itself was big; I was still hoping for seconds since it was so flavorful. The chili cheese fries were also delicious. The food here is made fresh to order, you can customize how well you like your patty cooked. With the quality, you can tell it's fresh food made to order. Downside to that is that it does take about 20 minutes and can be on the pricer side. But totally worth it! If you're a ranch lover, get their ranch dressing. It comes at extra cost but was a good staple for me. Overall, solid burger spot!

Inside is all reclaimed wood and cozy tables, people working on laptops, the coolest Redlands City Limits sign, kids flipping through board games and books in the corner, soft chatter, good energy. Pro tip: get in line as soon as you get there because it fills up fast and the line can absolutely go out the door. I had the chai latte (so good), a cheese danish (dangerous), and an Everlasting Ferments kombucha...the Habanero Ginger is a sleeper hit. You can also snag breakfast burritos if you're lucky (they sell out), or freshly made stuffed waffles from a vendor outside, which somehow makes the whole experience feel extra charming. There are cute little café tables all around and a tucked-away, walled patio in the back that's perfect for bigger groups. Already planning future coffee dates. Late to the party, but fully committed now!

Jim, the owner, was awesome. I had many questions and food restrictions. He was very patient with me and accommodated my food restrictions. I ordered the pulled pork BBQ panini with a coconut water. I cannot find the perfect describing words, it was more than I expected. I asked for the cherry Chipotle sauce on the side. Let me tell you, if I didn't have health issues that, I would have slathered my sandwhich with that sauce. I had to ask what the "meat" was made with because some vegan meats I'm not able to digest easily. He said mushrooms. I eat mushrooms very often I also eat meat here and there. I would have never guessed my panini had mushrooms. The sandwhich was delicious. It had a side salad with quinoa, beets, arugula, feta, and a dressing. That salad was actually good, I don't even like feta but I ate it with the salad. Don't get me started on the coconut water. I tried to get on the coconut water bandwagon and I never could because they all tasted bad to me. Welp... not this one. I can say I have a new craving. Comes in a nice glass bottle and tastes great. I was craving it the next day. $8 is a high price for me, but i can say if you have the $ the taste is worth it. And you can keep the cute glass bottle for other stuff! Jim was so kind he gave me a pumpkin cheesecake to try. I ate it later when i got home. I was expecting to only take a couple bites as im not a pumpkin gal. But i ate the whole thing. Im assuming its vegan by the texture. It had a real pumpkin flavor. It was soft and not too sweet. Just the right size to hit that night time dessert craving when your kid is alseep lmao If you read this far, go try it out. I hope you love it :) I will be returning, Jim, beleive it!

To continue, as I started this post then decided not to leave the review until the following.... Unfortunately this business does not care about the people they service, per the owner! I had an unfortunate incident with the owner Kadir on 3/17, I told him how much I loved his food but told him that I had gone and one of his employees was touching her hair when taking my order then making not only my food but multiple orders before me, him, obviously under the influence of at least alcohol he started getting mad asking why I was watching his employees make food, he said I shouldn't do that and there's no way I do that at other restaurants, when I told him I absolutely was watching and was disgusted by his employee touching her hair taking orders then no gloves making the food he screamed at me telling me not to eat there ever again, I responded telling him how much I patronize at his restaurant he told me they don't need me and not to ever go back! I was being nice BSing with him as we were out on a holiday and he yelled at me that they don't need my business multiple times. If you want greasy cash holding hands making your food go there if not then try somewhere else! I have been a regular at cheesewalla since they opened the food is so good, but it's disgusting to see the way it's handled and the owner literally said *f* you when I tried to talk to him like I was in the wrong. Given the setting I get he was out having fun but first encountered him at cheesewalla, his own establishment, but this took place a couple businesses down from his, but to be so blatantly rude and say my business isn't needed is mind boggling considering how many times I've been there when not a soul is in their sad bar is crazy! I will make sure everyone knows how dirty and disgusting this establishment is and that one of the owners simply doesn't care how his employees handle the food or that they have local repeat customers! I just love being told off and cussed at by a local business owner! As one myself, they definitely set the standard for how NOT to act!!!!! Mind you my first review of them on yelp was over 4 years ago and was a 5 star review!!! Now, if you want hand n hair grease in your food and an owner that backs food service that's unsanitary go there!
