Radiance Cafe looks great and the food presentation is solid, but the experience was frustrating and didn't make sense. I asked for a simple veggie omelette and was told they "don't stock vegetables." That would be fine except it's clearly not true. The dishes coming out (including ours) had pico de gallo, onions, peppers, mushrooms, avocado, etc. You can literally see the vegetables on top of the omelette and throughout the menu. So the ingredients are there... they're just not willing (or allowed) to put them inside an omelette? From a customer perspective, that's confusing. From a health/dietary standpoint, it means there are basically no true vegetarian entrée options, despite having all the components. It feels like a management policy issue rather than a kitchen limitation, and it puts the staff in an awkward position trying to explain it. The food itself was decent, but the lack of flexibility and consistency is a big miss. If you're vegetarian or looking for lighter, customizable options, this probably isn't the place. read more

You need a reservation! We didn't know that, but luckily the husb was able to make one within 15 minutes of when we got there. It was the hottest day of the week, so we opted to sit inside. This restaurant is next to the pool. It is on the 3rd floor, close to the spa and fitness area. We had yummy food. It all started with a complimentary berry bread that was placed in a pan. I had the same yummy coffee that I had at another cafe at Yamava. I had the radiance burger hold the tomato and jalapeno aioli with fries, it was my only choice for a side. Both were good. I got a lot of fries, I shared them with the husb. The husb got an avocado toast with salmon, cheese and lettuce on a toasted bread. He liked it as well. The employees were friendly and courteous. First week of summer opening was perfect with the Baja fish tacos. I can't believe the amount of batter minus the Fish that is now served. I told the manager Luis about it and he tried to have it remade to go take one. It looks like the chef was pissed and threw everything in a box. I requested to have my tacos served for me to pack up. Good food, generous servings, cheerful ambience, and very efficient staff. The venue was unusually busy at 3pm on a Tuesday afternoon which was not a problem for Server Elena and her partner who had our orders with special instructions served in no time flat. My son and I were quite impressed as we observed Hostess Cheyenne and even the Manager, Latasha who both pitched in by bussing tables themselves to accommodate the crowd of customers pouring in. Big open door looking out to the pool. 4stars because I went when Jenny Martínez was there and service was a little slow even though they weren't as busy anymore by the time we got there (a little late). The workers were very nice and accommodating, the food is good but not great. The drinks were too strong but not a good too strong, the tortilla from my husbands burrito tasted very store bought not authentic for a burrito at all, changes the flavor of the whole burrito! DJ booth was initially a bit loud but I think they lowered the volume or perhaps I have sustained more hearing loss. The place is clean but be mindful that it's next to the pool/lounge area so a bug or 2 might be circling inside the restaurant. Staff was attentive, patient, and friendly. We did not wait long for food to come out. It was delicious! This is my first choice for dining at Yaamava! It is much more affordable than Serrano Cafe in my opinion. Just heard since Radiance is seasonal will be closing tomorrow Sunday November 2nd. Reopen around April 2026. My family and I requesting for our favorite TOP waitress Anette for brunch. Drove the distance just to come & say bye till they reopen again next year 2026. Greeted by Supervisor Luis, our favorite waitress Anette, Kats, Anabel & waiter Omar, said bye . Wife: Short Rib Hash - 5 out of 5 rating - excellent portions and tasted delicious Me: NY Steak & Eggs 5 out of 5 - cooked to my request and delicious. Wife: Short Rib Hash- 2 out of 5 rating - this time it was full of potatoes and very little short rib. It looked like a potato plate. Not great at all ! We informed our server about this issue and hopefully it gets corrected for the price you pay. Me: Radiance Burger - 2 out of 5 rating - lacks in flavor. The smashed avocado didn't help either. It needs some type of sauce or dressing to liven up your taste buds. We had this happen before at another restaurant. The chef was lacking some main ingredients and substituted more of the supporting ingredients. If you are lacking on some ingredients, just be honest and say this item is not available today because we ran out of the main ingredient. Don't short change your customers. The word will get around and it will be bad for your business. No one likes to be cheated. We plan on going back in the near future to see if any feedback provided has been taken into considerations and shows improvements. read more

Late post from a trip at the end of August. Opted to sit outside because indoors seemed rather quiet (like eating in a cafeteria or lobby). Turned out to be a few feet closer to the pool bar where the servers had to pick up the (bottomless) mimosas. Servers did their best to keep us filled, but we did notice a delay at times. Tacos were very filling and tasty. Seafood cocktail was very tomato juice based. Added extra citrus to help "freshen" the taste. Big chunks of avocado were great. Self service dessert bar inside was okay, but it seemed like mini desserts from the buffet. Maybe mini pastries would have been better? Gal at the table next to us vomited and the sound of chunks hitting the floor killed the vibe. Not necessarily the restaurant's fault, but a check in would have been nice (especially with how close they were to us and the clean up needed). Maybe some ambient music would have helped. I have been at Radiance Cafe several times, and each time is worse than before. Food is great but their customer service needs major improvement. You wait forever for them to take your orders and then wait again forever to get your food. You have 10 servers standing around when customers are trying to wave them over for help. One time, I had placed my order, waited 45 minutes, and then only to wave my waitress over to find that she never put in my order. Friendly staff but just highly inefficient and unskilled. read more

I stumbled upon here when my mom and I was looking for some lunch without the long wait in line. Boy did we find the right place! This cafe is perfect if you want to catch the sun outdoor and some shade indoors! I love how relaxing it is sitting while you dine. It's the only place that has outside dining in Yaamava. I ordered the house cheeseburger with Caesar salad and my mom ordered the double Gastro burger. The food came out within 15 mins, exceptional! Now the taste test - the burger is of good since and it barely fit my mouth! The burgers were soft, juicy, full of flavor, and just the right amount of salt! The bartender and servers do a wonderful job in making sure my water was full. As an added bonus, they have strawberries mojito mocktails available at $0! We used to go to Rock & Brews every visit, as they were the only place that we knew that could offer gluten free food options. But yesterday we found out that Radiance Cafe had gluten free as well. So we went. Nice location, sat outside where we could see the pool, nice breeze, relaxing atmosphere. Our waiter Sami was just great! The gluten free options are paltry, 1 appetizer, 1 entree, and 1 dessert. So my son ordered the appetizer, which was a large bowl of yogurt with cut up fruit. No complaints, it was yogurt and fruit. But apparently they use just normal full-sugar yogurt as it was very sweet (very sweet in a not good way) For the entree, we both ordered the salmon. It was good, the salmon. The grits that came with it were absolutely terrible. I asked my son, do you want my grits? He said no, they taste like I just bit into a piece of drywall. LOL He was right! Chunky, dry, lumpy, with absolutely no seasoning at all. It was like chewing drywall. My son ordered the panna cotta for dessert, but got it to go as he was full. The location, atmosphere and Sami being wonderful are why I'm not giving 1 or 2 stars. The food was meh. Maybe if they let us swap out the sides on the salmon plate for ANYTHING else, we'd go back. But the location can't be beat. It was lovely weather so it was easy to enjoy eating outside. If you do not need gluten free food, this might be a wonderful restaurant. I'm not sure why it's 2025 and asking for decent gluten free food seems to be like we are Martians asking for something outrageous. :'( read more
