Passed this golf course many many times, and never stopped here to try out Cork Fire Kitchen. Guess I thought it was for club members only, turns out it's open to the public. We came for brunch on a beautiful summer day, this place is beautiful. It's nestled under the oak trees, shaded, and open from the back to great views of the course. The inside is gorgeous, yet casual, the patio is spectacular and shaded, with a large open fireplace, and the seating is tables and cozy bench seats. The menu isn't too complicated, and has a great selection to satisfy any craving. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros, made with homemade chorizo, it was delish. My family ordered other dishes, which you can see in the pictures. We were all fat and happy at the end of our meal, my brother was especially happy because he downed two of their Bloody Marys, which were excellent. There is a beautiful fountain out back, and a fruit and vegetable garden beyond it, that you could walk through. I can see why people get married here, the grounds are beautiful. Very satisfied with our meal and the service, and Cass our waitress was wonderful! We will definitely be back!!! read more

I brought all my out-of-town relatives here for a nice brunch. I really like Cork fire kitchen, the food is very good and the view cannot be beat. So beautiful to eat looking out at the golf course. Service was so-so. Could be faster and more organized. My husband asked for lemon with his water and that did not come until 3 reminders later and halfway done with the meal. The food was really good. Biscuits with blueberry-honey butter and strawberry jam were heavenly. The reason for the 3 stars on this visit was due to a couple of flies that kept is company for the entire meal. I dont know if a bug zapper would have helped, but it really was annoying and ruined the meal. read more

MAY 31, 2022 1:30 P. M. Visiting from San Francisco for three days and we go to this place after my nieces graduation. There's 11 of us. We are sitting outside and everything is great the server is great. Then I went inside with my mother to order 11 French connections, half Courvoisier half Grand Marnier. $16 apiece, fine. We got the bill and my mother and I split the check. That's when the craziness began! I was charged twice $115 and my mom was charged three different amounts. I called the next day and talk to Christie the hostess called twice and I guess the manager meetings take about seven hours! Didn't receive a call or anything so my sister went to the restaurant, inconvenience! My sister went over and talked to the manager, Marco Garcia Who sent her confirmation about the money being put in my account the same or next day. It has been three days now. And if we're going to count Sunday. It'll be four days. What is the hold up! I have worked in the service industry for 25 years and this is the most incompetent thing I've ever seen! When you charge somebody and make a mistake, and I know this for a fact, all you have to do is adjust the payment not recharge the guest again! Give me my money back! The setting of this restaurant is beautiful, no doubt. I went yesterday for lunch and was saddened to find out that their menu had changed. Not only had they removed some of, in my opinion, the better items, but their prices had risen dramatically. I paid close to $28 for a burger. It's not grassfed--just a burger. I ordered it without bacon and a bun. I asked if there was an alternative for the french fries, and I was told I could get fruit or salad but was not told that there was additional charge. So a burger patty and fruit was $30. Definitely not worth it. read more

My favorite breakfast restaurant with a a view of the Temecula golf course. I've organized events here including my parent's 50th Wedding Anniversary. What we order: Farmhouse coddled eggs, huevos rancheros, omelette, eggs benedict My favorite here is the complementary biscuit that they serve before the meal paired with a homemade spread. They stopped serving the biscuits though the last time we were here so I was really disappointed. The biscuits and the spread were so delicious! The farmhouse coddled eggs are 'my usual' order at this place and one of the restaurant's favorite breakfast dish. Served in a warm skillet with 4 buttered toasts and potatoes . YUM! My husband usually goes for the omelette and he loves it. I've ordered the huevos rancheros once but my favorite is still the coddled eggs. Second visit to Cork Fire Kitchen. The first time we came, we couldn't rave enough about the food and service and decor. This time was Easter, and my family left disappointed. The server was extremely nice (as all of them seem to be), but we received a drink from the bar with a hair in it. That was the first issue. Our server apologized and promptly replaced it, unfortunately with another drink with an even longer hair on it. So...we decided not to use the bar and ordered a soda. Our food was hot and very bland. We ordered dessert and discovered they were out of everything we wanted except the donut holes (which the server highly recommended). Warning, despite being donuts, my daughter discovered they were not sweet and we just made up a lie to have them taken away. We left the restaurant and went to Another one to finish our meal. Cork Fire is delicious! Great atmosphere with pretty golf course views. Definitely try the Garden Party cocktail if you're a fan of gin, and the burger is one of the best we've had in SoCal. If you want a table outside with the views, be sure to make a reservation! read more

Visiting Temecula and we found this place because we wanted a nice restaurant with a view for lunch. Was not greeted by staff (Maybe bc we're POC, & it's predominantly white area). Drinks were good but a bit overpriced. Menu was pretty small for lunch food but a wide menu for drinks. We got the angus burger and fish and chips. Good but nothing special. Our experience here was great but cut short since we noticed a LIPSTICK STAIN on my man's drink, I didn't even try his drink and what's the need to drink out of the cup when we had straws? This place has such a elegant, cozy vibe inside. The outside seating is ok with some cute decor, but if you eat here you're gonna want to be seated indoors specifically where you get the grand view of the golf course. The service here is great. The servers I've had were super friendly and attentive. Once we went and the food took a lot longer than usual to come out and they communicated to us that they were a bit backed up which is appreciated instead of not saying anything at all. I've only been here for brunch, so I can't speak on dinner. Their churro waffles were to die for!! So delicious! The pork confit hash is great.. the flavors blend so well with the tender pork. My wife and I took her parents to the Cork Fire Kitchen last night. The location is beautiful, the dining room is well-appointed if not a bit chilly with the huge windows, and the server we had (I think her name was Jessica) was delightful. I have no complaints about anything but the food itself. Perhaps it was an off night based on the other reviews but the food could only be generously described as "marginal" I ordered the lamb shank which I was told was braised for 14 hours. It was tender, but not in a particularly pleasant way. The texture was more like a turkey leg which had been in the oven too long or reheated. We went on a Monday so perhaps it was left over from the weekend? Alongside the main dish I ordered the "Baked potato pure" as it is listed on the website. I'm not exactly sure how to describe what went wrong with these but they were dry and somehow chalky. I am really hesitant to say the following because I can't imagine it is actually the case, but they tasted like when you make instant mashed potatoes with too little water. I'm not sure how someone can make bad mashed potatoes but somehow they delivered a dish which was dry and bland. My wife ordered the Seared Diver Scallops and was not impressed, either. She described them as "bland". Which is saying something because she grew up eating food in Utah where mayonnaise is the official state salsa. She ordered them without mushrooms so perhaps that missing flavor profile ties everything together but my Mother in Law ordered the same dish but with mushrooms and had similar observations. The prawns my wife added to the dish were tasty even though they were a little overcooked and slightly rubbery. My Father in Law ordered the mushroom risotto. He's too polite to complain but he left about a third of it on his plate after earlier staying how hungry and anxious to eat he was. The drinks were great. It may be that Mondays are very slow so they don't bring in their best kitchen staff. But if a restaurant is going to be open, the quality should be as good on a Monday evening as it is on a Friday. We definitely hoped for the best and are not people who are looking to complain. We had high hopes based on the other reviews. At the end of the night I dropped $260 to bring my visiting family to a beautifully decorated room and eat mediocre food. read more

Went there for a birthday brunch. Had a party of ten. Service was attentive considering how busy they were. Really appreciated the fact that they embraced food allergies- hubby is gluten free. A hidden gem of a restaurant nestled next to a golf course. We arrived here early and had lunch prior to checking into Our hotel and attending a sunset wedding. Parking Ample space with jovial and friendly valet service. The entrance into the restaurant is comical as you are greeted by a cute, painted blue pig Statue and as you enter there is a huge chandelier made by a wagon wheel with cutlery as decor. Tables are nicely set with fabric napkins and a view overlooking the golf course. We started out with roasted butternut squash soup which was delicate and delicious, a special on the menu and followed by a savory meal: Beet Salad, was organic and fresh Bistro Steak was tender and juicy Fish Tacos was crispy and packed with flavor Excellent service and we ordered a glass of wine which were paired to complement the steak. Cork Fire Kitchen is located on a golf course and is gorgeous. The views from the main dining area are so beautiful. We visited over the weekend and it was a rainy day. The rain made it even more pretty to look out the windows at the golf course. We decided to do a small Christmas celebration the day before Christmas Eve. It wasn't too crowded surprisingly. We were seated right away and the service was decent. Everyone enjoyed their food and the company was nice also. Food came out hot and delicious. The churro waffles just taste like straight churros in a bowl and don't really taste like waffles at all. Too much sugar for my taste and I love sugar lol The menu was a little disappointing for brunch. There aren't really vegan/ vegetarian options. There was hummus and churro waffles for vegetarian options. I took off one star for the lack of dietary options. Plenty of choices for carnivores; most of our party were meat eaters and went with the eggs Benedict entree. I'm not sure how much differentiation there is between brunch and dinner menus, but hopefully they have more vegetarian friendly options later in the evening. read more

Beautiful scenery of the golf course from the dining area. The decor inside is very nice too. I was pleasantly surprised their booths are almost like small couches with the added touch of throw pillows. Staff was very polite and attentive. We went for breakfast on a Friday morning (if that helps) and shared the Brioche French Toast and the Carnitas Mash (Hash?). Both were delicious and served quickly.
