She was fantastic! She was on time, attentive to my needs, incredibly thorough with the prep work, and brought such creativity to the experience that she exceeded my expectations. I would not recommend this salon, especially working with Monique. I went in clearly asking for 22-24 inch hair extensions and was charged $1,191.90, even though my original quote was around $750. What I received was significantly shorter than what I paid for, and the result looked unprofessional. The extensions were poorly blended and the color was uneven, making them very obvious and not wearable. For that price, I expected a high-quality, professional result. Instead, I had to remove the extensions entirely because of how bad they looked. When I reached out, I was not offered a refund only a toner or to redo the service with someone else. After spending over $1,100 and ending up with something I couldn't even keep in, that response was extremely disappointing. This experience felt like a complete waste of money. I would strongly recommend getting everything in writing and double-checking exactly what you're paying for before booking here. I wish there was a button to push no stars. I requested to get a dark balayage with some brown and warm blonde highlights, I absolutely love how it turned out and couldn't have asked for better. It was a bit of a struggle because I had previous bright purple in my hair but they did so well. The place is very nice and spacious and when we walked in they offered us refreshments. I'll start chronologically, that's the least emotional way I can write this review. I called to make an appointment with Kelly. A man answered the phone I asked him is she was good with curly hair and if she had time for a color. He kind obliged and set me up with a consult I requested and a hair appointment. I showed up to the consult, Kelly was very sweet. I asked if she was curly hair certified, she was not, but she shared she had extensive experience with curly hair and color. We went over my wants - gray coverage and depth. I showed her my Pinterest inspiration board, to which she said it was doable and it look like I wanted "depth". I explained my hair trauma to which she kindly listened and said I was I good hands and we'd take it slow to build trust. The day of the actual hair appointment. I was greeted warmly by the staff. Kelly did a test strand on my hair; first try it didn't lift, second try it finally lifted. Her expert opinion decided on a longer processing time on my dark brown hair. Kelly gave me a dry cut with "long layers", and said it was looking good; then provided me with a k18 treatment - additional cost $25, in addition to the k18 treatment she encourage me to buy during the consult to prevent damage. Kelly then proceeded to start lifting my hair. When she took out the first strand it looked very very light, she agreed that I lifted a lot, also mentioned it looked light compared to my dark hair color. She then proceeded to color my roots (picture one), when she washed my hair I went to the bathroom because I was concerned with the application of the root color. As I suspected, it was on my forehead. I asked her to remove it, she said she tried, she tried one last time and it did nothing (picture 2). Kelly added toner to give me the color and depth I originally wanted (see "Inspo" pictures) we went back to the chair and she noticed her own mistake - the toner was too light it looked almost gray. I was not able to see the lift line, she immediately ran and got a darker color. Kelly did not charge me for the color to fix her error. The end result was, a darker color than when I first came in, no depth. And a color line that look like someone put a bowl on my head and nervously color treated my hair below the bowl. When I pointed out the mistakes (color, lack of depth, terrible balayage) said she could not see what I was talking about. Kelly put a circle light to my hair then took some picture. I requested to see them. I don't walk around in life with someone hold a light to my hair. I had my daughter take a picture of my hair (picture 4), then I changed the depth color contrast on my phone to get a clearer picture of the line I was referring to (picture 5). When I showed her what I was talking about she didn't get it! I don't know how to explain it to a professional, when I am not the expert, and my daughter and I both tried. I asked her to call the manager/owners and she said they weren't available, and that they would call me back soon. I almost started crying and immediately Kelly says "oh I'm going to cry too!" I was going to cry because i am worried how my hair is going to look when it starts fading with a harsh line. Examples included. Kelly said she did want not to make the receptionist uncomfortable and I needed to pay the $325 for services. For reference: my consult was in Friday, my hair disaster was in Sunday, today is Tuesday and I have not heard back. read more

I have been going here on & off for 7 years.. back when it was London. This was the first salon I went to when I moved from out of state. Had some good experiences... some bad. During the transition, Confetti made something right even though it wasn't even theirs to make right. So, I gave Confetti a shot. We had an incredible lady doing our hair but then she was fired... not sure why. Was super disappointed after that. THEN, recently, the whole reason for this review, I schedule a "special occasions" hair style. I ended up having to cancel because the event got moved up to an earlier time and I didn't think the stylist would come in at 6 am. The lady scheduling was adamant she would ask the stylist and see if she would accommodate an earlier time. I got a call back that she would at 6 am for me. My next question was if there was an after hours/ before hours fee. The lady told me she didn't think so but would move the appointment to 6 am and call me if there was a fee. If I didn't hear from anyone, there wasn't an extra fee and we were good to go. I didn't get a call. Cool. Was just planning on tipping well out of gratitude for someone coming in so early for me! I show up at 5:50 am for my 6 am appointment and no one is there. I give it until 6:15 am. No one showed up. This special occasion was MY WEDDING. So, I had to rush home and try to do something myself with only 45 minutes to do it. I had left a message at 6 am when I was waiting outside the salon. I got a call back a few hours later with no apology but an explanation that I was called and someone told me there would be an after hours fee so it was cancelled. That they were confused. There was no phone call. No one spoke to me. There was no message left. When I told her it was my wedding, she said "oh? We don't do wedding hair". I never mentioned it... cause I didn't think it mattered (it was an elopement- nothing too fancy but I wanted to feel pretty). When I made the appointment, she asked if it was for a special occasion, I said yes. She didn't ask me to clarify what type. But she made it almost an argument and justification for what they did. I will never go back here. Clearly, there's terrible communication, no accountability and someone that works there likes to say they called people with information when they didn't. I've been going to Confetti Crown (formerly London) for years, and bopped around to all different chairs in the shop. All the stylists there are super friendly, give me exactly what I want whether it's a cut, color, or wax. And even though I questionably pay the most of any of my friends for a cut, it's absolutely worth every penny for the stellar, friendly service and outcomes! I've landed in Kristi's chair over the last year, and she's been so fun and does a wonderful job on my hair. Ever since the ownership change and name change, she and the other stylists I've talked to seem so much happier with the change and I see good things coming. read more

I've only had my hair professionally cut once since the pandemic started, so it was getting long and rough. I came by Confetti on a Wednesday afternoon for two reasons - they're super convenient under the parking garage I use for work and because a small two-person shop I had called and left a message for never called me back. The receptionist was helpful and when I explained my hair struggles she suggested a few of the techs that would be good for my hairstyle and was even able to book me the very next day. They have a text-appointment system which was nice for reminders as well. When I showed up for mine, all I did was text one number to check in and waited perhaps a few minutes before Alison introduced herself and brought me right back to her station. She listened to my hair concerns and was very nice and engaged me in conversation about myself but not in a forced way. She also didn't go over the top and try too hard or talk too much. Her energy was good, if anything it was like she was cutting my hair at lightning speed and I wasn't sure if that's just her cutting style or if she felt rushed in some way (I hope I didn't make her feel rushed!). But she did a good job and suggested some products but didn't try to sell me. Loved the feeling of my hair after and I left feeling really good about the whole experience. The salon that used to be located here, London, had a vibe that always kind of intimidated me, like I wouldn't be welcome there for some reason. But confetti did not give me that feeling at all. I went to get my lashes filled, only to be completely disappointed. They weren't full like they normally are. They looked like they look after 2 weeks of wear. Then the following morning, I woke up to half of the lashes had fallen out. I called and left a complaint because I hadn't ever had that happen before. The owner did call me back and offered to fix the problem. But then, when I went back in today to get them fixed, the lash tech Zoe completely messed them up and had to REMOVE all of my lashes!!!! If you've ever had lashes, you understand why that's a problem!! I have appts all day today, and now I'm walking around looking like a complete moron without any lashes because my natural ones are so small from wearing extensions. I won't be able to find someone else to fix this for days. So now on my only days off, I have to scramble and try to find someone else that can hopefully fix this mess. Getting your lashes done is an investment of time, and I have invested so much of mine only to have to start over again. Finding someone and getting an appt won't be easy or happen over night, so now I'm stuck. I realize how vain I must sound, but your face is the first thing people see. I just got divorced last year, and I loved the way that my lashes made me look, and now that's gone. I haven't ever been so utterly disappointed by a salon before. When I walked into that appt this morning,even though my lashes were messed up, they were there. They did give me a full refund, but that doesn't make up for how I look and feel now. I am fully aware that my confidence shouldn't be wrapped up in something so silly, but I look like a completely different person now. And giving me my money back, doesn't fix that. I'm so upset, that I honestly can't articulate my feelings right now. But if you want to avoid feeling like I do, I would go get my lashes done somewhere else. read more

I was on my way to the Gorge Amphitheater and I stopped in Eugene for the night. I popped into Confetti Crown because I saw that they did festival braids. I got an appointment right away and the braids were done quickly and they look incredible with the woven in pink hair I chose. My hair is particularly annoying because I have some short layers that are hard to tame.
