After having moved to Eugene in the fall during the pandemic, I had been cutting my own hair and was overdue for a clean professional cut. Found Reflections Salon on Yelp and was impressed by the photos and reviews over other local spots. Making an appointment was easy and I was in a chair within a week - could have been earlier if my schedule had allowed. My appointment was schedule for 9 am and at that time, there was ample free street parking. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming in a cute little cottage. As a new client I had no idea of what to expect or who to book with so I went with whomever the receptionist picked, which turnout to be Grace. She did a great job with a wash, cut and style and I will definitely eat back to see her again. She was attentive to detail, took her time and was highly personable and sweet. I have yet to curl and style it but the wash and straight blow out feels great and I am pleased to have it all cleaned up again. On top of that the price was super reasonable at $35.00! I went to Reflections for the first time for a haircut with Tia. I explaimed I had a regular stylist but I missed an appointment because I was sick and my stylist was cutting back hours so I was looking for a backup stylist. All was fine until I went to pay and she wanted to make an appointment for the next month. When I told her I had an appointment with my stylist everything changed. She said, actually, we all specialize in this salon, and I am a colorist. When you make your next appointment, you can make it with someone else who specializes in haircuts. She was fine to take my money for a haircut when she thought it was going to be every month, but as soon as she found out it wasn't, she was rudely pawning me off to someone else. It took her 20 minutes to cut my hair. She got $59.99 for the haircut and $12 for the tip. But that wasn't enough. I will not return to a salon where greed trumps all. read more

Unfortunately I am not able to comment on the service's quality as I was unable to get in. I made an appointment on the 24th to be seen on the 22nd at 4pm. 8 days later (day of my appointment) just 2 hours before my appointment they call me to tell me that Patricia was accidentally double booked, and I was offered either 2:30 that day (when I work in drain from 8-3pm and live up here in Eugene) or 5pm the next day (Friday) . I chose 5pm. Then, a half an hour later the salon calls me AGAIN to reschedule because that time was also already booked. I was offered an 8am or a 9am appointment for the next day (Saturday, today). I woke up a little late and got to the salon by 9:15. They then told me that they again, wouldn't be able to do my hair because Patricia had a client right after me. I hear good things about the work at the salon and am saddened that I will not be experiencing it myself. read more

Been getting my hair cut about once a month by Clinton for..over 10 years? Always friendly, accommodating, and keeps it simple (which I like). My hair has almost given up the ghost, but he's still learning tricks to give it life. He's also given me great advice, made calls to people outside of work to help me out a few times, and is quite a bit tougher than I am while also being a warm family man. Definitely an interesting character, and you shouldn't hesitate if you want a good cut. The staff has relatively low turnover, travels to conferences together, and seems to genuinely enjoy each other's company. It's very easy for me to feel out of place in a salon or barbershop, but I enjoy going to Reflections because there is always a genuine smile and greeting waiting for me no matter what state my hair or clothes are in. You should go if you don't mind the drive and spending a few extra bucks. For me, it's been a wise investment. read more

I would not recommend this salon to my worst enemy! I will save my story, as it would be too long to type and it is full of drama, but I had to review this salon in hope of saving someone else from my misery. I have tried two stylists here... One is completely unqualified, unprofessional and perhaps might still think she is working in beauty school by the way that she acts. The other claims she is the 'master of color' but somehow each time I left her chair, I was more and more disappointed. Not only are the stylists incapable of doing professional work, but the owners do not take accountability for their employees. Bottom line is... DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! Especially if you are not naturally blonde, but color your hair blonde. The two stylists I went to had no idea how to work in blonde color and desperately need to continue their educations. read more

How does this not have any reviews yet? It's so great! The reason I went was because I literally heard about this place over and over. I had to check it out. I started coming here when I was in college, and have come probably once every 6 mos-1.5 years since - whenever I can make time now that I don't live in Eugene anymore. Its a pretty great experience. They have great designers and colorists, and on the website you can check out the stylists and see get a feel for personalities and experience. The atmosphere is fun and engaging. You can tell the team really loves working with each other, and they're just a pleasure to be around. Also, the atmosphere in the salon is very warm and inviting. Personally, I've gone to Clinton - who is just amazing - but have had friends go with other stylists and they've also had really awesome experiences. read more

I've been going to Reflections Salon for about three years now, and I'm always very happy with every aspect of the experience. Even though it's a half hour drive from my house, it's totally worth going out of my way for a consistently great cut and wonderful service. I see Vicki, the salon owner, for my thick, coarse, wavy hair, and she's a genius. I end up with a perfect cut that can be left to dry naturally into perfect ringlets or can be blow-dried straight and shiny. The salon itself is charming and lovely, the staff are wonderful, and the products are top quality. Highly recommended! read more

Jenny has been styling and coloring my hair for over 20 years. She is the BEST ever! Ever woman has little issues that they want their stylist to help them with. Jenny listens and knows how to style different types of hair and she does a wonderful job with getting the color just right. Relections is a top notch Salon, relaxed but professional. Reflections offers a distinctive atmosphere that I haven't found anywhere else. Each of the employees have a unique personality, and they all come together to make this gem outside of town a special place. I love to go in after work to get my trim, and relax with a complementary beer. In terms of low key professional salons I don't think you can get any better. What an awful place!!!! I made an appointment to have my hair colored. I wanted to keep my long hair and communicated how important it was for me to keep my hair long. It was down to about my elbows. Was. She decided that it would look better shorter length and cut it off at my shoulders!!!! Did not even ask me! Talk about BS!!!!!! Ok I just have to say... I love this place. Everyone has been so accommodating and nice to my family. The other day I sent my mom in to Ali(the sweetest girl ever) and she asked my mom what kind of music she liked(Michael bublè of course) and Ali put it on for her. It had been on something more fun hip hop(what I'd prefer) but Ali recognized that my mom prob didn't like that and changed it. It just seems like the people at reflections are always going above to please. Clinton gave my little boy a awesome short fade cut that we asked for but added a little flair to make it seem even cooler. My little guy now always has to have his "ziggle" (a cool little z design behind his ear) and refuses to go to anyone else. read more
