I had my hair colored 2 weeks before my wedding by Jennifer Burbank. She did such an amazing job on my hair and also took good care of my mom when she came in the week before my wedding. She took the extra time to make sure my hair color (blues & purples) looked amazing for my wedding. I get so many compliments on my hair even weeks later. Came in for a simple hair cut that should have costed 20 then told me she would do 25 and ten dollars on to simply trim up facial hair. Mind you at this point I prob would have just had my head shaved. I'm not Justin Bieber or anything. Long story short the website and Apple Maps both reported they would take contactless pay. The independent hair cutter refused to cut my hair even after the person running the front said she would make sure she got paid. So happy with my new hair cut!! Jennifer was patient and listened to me over-explain what I wanted. (I always forget to bring a photo and apparently I do a terrible job of explaining, and then I hate my haircut but whatever it'll grow back.) And she gave me exactly the haircut I wanted. Bonnie cut my hair and it was one of the worst experience I have had there. She made me feel very unwelcome. I have been to the salon before and loved it. She told a coworker she was suppose to be somewhere else during my haircut after already asking me to come early when I couldn't. Her phone dinged at least 15 times during my cut, in my ear. She seemed very hesitant on what I wanted and I don't really like the cut at all. I wont be visiting Bonnie again. Very unprofessional!!! read more

The location of this salon is a bit strange, sandwiched in between a library branch and the UPS store. However, once inside it is quite welcoming. There's a few seats, some magazines and little area to make a coffee/tea, etc. I didn't spend much time in the waiting area though as my stylist was ready for me right when I walked in - a few minutes early! I had a simple hair trim done by Jennifer. I actually found Jennifer and this salon via Groupon, which I used for the service and that was an easy process. (You never know what to expect when using a Groupon or coupon at new places!) Overall, Jennifer did a nice job on my hair and gave a great scalp massage during the shampoo. This salon has a couple of nail stations inside as well but, surprisingly, not too smelly! read more

This little salon is tucked into the Safeway stripmall on Coburg rd- a little hard to spot, the Wells Fargo kinda blocks it. You'll never get any salon attitude here- just down to earth nice people. The owners of the place are great (Will and Maleah). Maleah's a real hair master but is so popular that she usually can't take new customers. The person to see is Keith- he's really nice and does a great job with eveything from basic men's cuts to women's high and lowlights! When we lived in Eugene my husband and I both went to him- and when we roll through town we stop in. His prices are uber resonable. You won't regret it! read more

Desperately overdue for a haircut (by 2 years) and another salon had to cancel my appointment last minute due to a Covid exposure. Just happened across this salon online and was lucky enough to get a same day appointment with the new owner Sami Jo and let me tell you, I am so glad this happened! Ask for Kelley, she's the sweetest human being alive with so much talent! I've come in with a specific request for a hairstyle a few times and she's nailed all of them. Recently I've been growing my hair out and she intuitively knows what style/texture works best for me at it's current stage. The young lady who cut my hair was nice but when I was asking about Brazilian blowout's and they said well it varies in price we charge per length and thickness and I said OK so you charge minorities more and the girl next to her looked at me like I was the biggest piece of trash I've seen that look before when I lived south. charging for thickness is charging for the race of a minorities especially black females we have thicker course hair there's no other race that our thickness if our hair is natural without a relaxer. so I was just trying to educate them by saying OK so you do charge minorities women more I believe the person who cut my hair was maybe named Baily but the girl next to her I hope there's a camera and maybe the owner could see the look that this she gave me unless that was the owner. it was I felt like I was back in Georgia I won't be going back there anymore even if the service was good for the person who cut my hair if there's people like the other lady in the salon I will not be going back. read more

I've been seeing Kelley for years and will continue to do so! She's very knowledgeable, friendly, and will do whatever is necessary to get you to the hairstyle you want without damaging your hair. As someone who is in the salon every 5 weeks on the dot it's nice to have someone Im this comfortable with. I have and will continue to recommend her to everyone looking for a new stylist. My 74 year old disabled wife had an appointment today with Candy Walker for a shampoo, haircut and blow dry. The shampoo chair base shot out from underneath causing my wife and the chair to fall to the floor violently. It took her care giver and my wife some time and pleading with the staff to get them to call the fire department for help getting her back to her feet. As is standard procedure there were three firefighters lifting. Candy said "it took three men to lift you,maybe that's incentive to loose weight ". Unsafe equipment, uncooperative and RUDE employees. She still had to pay full price despite all of the pain and embarrassment. The owner only seemed concerned about being sued read more

My mother & I go in here all the time to cut our hair with Kat, who is absolutely wonderful. However, I went in to purchase a conditioner my mother likes as part of her Christmas gifts just now, and got MAJOR sass from whichever stylist was currently working the front desk. Not sure what her name was but she has short pink hair. I was unaware that the stylists sell their own lines of products and the particular line of conditioner I've seen on the shelves was being sold by another stylist. The woman at the front desk refused to help me and instead of asking the other stylist for me if I could purchase a bottle of conditioner, just stared at me with a look of disturbance and continued on about how that's not a conditioner she personally sells. That experience left such a foul taste in my mouth, I don't think I will ever be going back. read more

This place gets negative stars from me. Two women who work here are very unprofessional by accepting large tips from an elderly woman who suffers from memory issues. They agreed to return part of the tip at the end of every month so it could be put back into her bank account. We asked they not tell her as ahe would become upset with family. The stylist and the nail tech decided they didn't want to return $10 of the weekly $20 tip, so they confronted her and told her what the family had asked of them. They now still get $20-$40 tips for a simple wash and curl set, and a Manicure. Services between the two cost a total of $45 and they are receiving $20-$40 additional in tips EACH. That to me is taking advantage of a senior, and honestly I feel as if it's stealing. If your parent /grandparent is elderly please be careful!!! read more

If you end up getting services from this salon don't go to Sammy Jo. I got the worst perm of my life followed by a lot of attitude with no help or working with me. I got blamed for my perm going wrong when I got home, being told that I probably brushed it out or slept on it ( I left with my hair wet so once it was dry when I got home I instantly sent pictures showing how bad it turned out). Instead of getting the perm that I asked for, I ended up with a frizzy mess after she cornrowed my hair and permed it that way (I asked as she was braiding my hair if the perm would end up with finer curls and she said no, so I trusted her). I was told by Sami Jo that my hair wouldn't take a perm very well, when I know it would as I have had perms before. When I finally got her to re-perm the mess she created, I got a lot more attitude as though she wanted me to just leave. Then when she finally agreed to just put in a beach wave perm, she had hand written a waiver saying quote "I hereby really Sami Jo McCay (stylst) to perm my hair. There will be no refunds and no guarantee to what the hair will come to be. I acknowledge that the outcome depends on the action of my hair and the sellers cannot be responsible". Of course my hair isn't going to hold much of a perm after already getting one two weeks ago. I have many texts to show that I was being nothing but polite and honest, and she was being rude and non cooperative. I sent pictures of the way I wanted the perm based on how I style it, and the iron I used to style it, and long descriptions of what I wanted. And this is what I got. Then she offered a gift certificate for a different service. There's not a chance I will never return to that person to touch my hair ever again, and I strongly suggest everyone else take caution when approaching her for hair services. I would include pictures of how all of this went, including the quality of my hair if I knew how to do so on here. read more
