I haven't had a massage in almost fifteen years and was gifted a hot stone massage for my birthday here. Clean building but not cold or sterile and super calm atmosphere to start. They were accommodating to whatever level of modesty you're comfortable with (I'm fine with full monty but certainly wasn't pressured to do so) and didn't waste too much time on paperwork so I felt like I received optimum attention on my massage. Well sadly, I'm very disappointed. I tried to support a local business. I purchased hair extensions for a new foster placement, whose hair has years of damage, My daughter was super hesitant and had never done her hair this way before. DHS reversed their decision to allow it, and I attempted to return the unopened, unused hair. I was informed returns are not allowed. That the lady at the front desk, also the owner, who assisted us during the purchase, and was aware of our situation, never mentioned the return policy - like anyone with good customer service would - seeing a young girl be so unsure. It is also not mentioned inside the store, on the website, or on the receipt. Customers beware. read more

I was on a business trip and went to this spa to get a massage. The spa is beautiful inside. Everything is brand new. They give you a robe to change into and slippers, which was neat. I've never experienced that before at a spa. They have a nice seating area with snacks and cucumber flavored water to enjoy while you complete paperwork. The J Spa is absolutely phenomenal! I've been here three times, and each time I go it's always better than the last. Not only is the staff helpful they are very accommodating too! The ambiance is amazing, and as you walk in it feels like you're transported to a different realm! You get in and instantly change into a robe. After you're done changing, you can sit down in the waiting area and help yourself to water or tea before going into your massage. Something I have noticed about other massages I've gotten is that they end early. Sometimes too early, like 10 minutes before my hour is up. I do understand that you need to change and such but it's still 10 minutes. However at the J Spa, I don't even worry about that. They make sure my massage is maximized as much as possible. I wouldn't go anywhere else to get my Swedish massage! read more

I had been wanting a good quality massage and decided to book with Jackie because the reviews I read online. I went to her website and the first available appointment was over a month and a half away but I wanted in with her so I booked it. After waiting that whole time, I went in for my appointment yesterday and as I I was saying what I was here for the person at the front desk immediately started shaking her head no. Of course I started to feel a little upset but waited for her to take a phone call then look on the computer for my appointment. She then told me she had no record of me and I was not scheduled. I was confused because I paid for this over a month ago, and it was successfully taken from my account. She offered to reschedule me with someone else two weeks away, but I specifically waited that whole time to get in with Jackie. She did not offer me any appointments with her. I then asked for a refund and was told my credit card information was not on file, but she had my phone number and my address, so I must have been in the system! She told me she would process the refund "one way or another" and mentioned writing a check, but the owner wouldn't be in until next week to do that. So I waited a month and a half for an appointment I did not get to have, was not offered an appointment with the massage therapist I wanted, and now I have to wait an open ended amount of time to get my money back. I left the store then got a voicemail about an hour later, and she said "This is Jackie from the J Spa" so you are telling me that whole time I was speaking with the owner and massage therapist I booked with?? My refund did end up getting processed but overall this was a very disappointing experience. read more

I was very pleased the 1st visit I had at this location. Jackie did an amazing job on my deep tissue massage. It was a perfect balance of deep muscle work and relaxation. My fiance also had a massage and still raves about it a week later. The atmosphere is super professional, calming and clean. Very nice spa on the smaller side (maybe 3-4 rooms?). Feels newish. We were encouraged to change into robes and slippersnupon arriving, and offered hot tea, water and snacks. My massage table was warmed. The massage was lovely and very relaxing. I highly recommend! read more

SPA PERFECTION! My husband and I were on our way up to Seattle from southern Oregon and called a day ahead to see if we could book a couples massage around the lunch hour for a nice driving break. They went the extra mile to called in another masseuse to make it happen. The J Spa is absolutely BEAUTIFUL inside with the most soothing atmosphere. Our couples massage--one Hot Stone and one Swedish, were fantastic. We slipped into some robes, basked in the calming atmosphere, and had a very relaxing time. Perfect break from our long drive, which was also our 28th wedding anniversary. I couldn't thank them enough for their friendly willingness to accommodate our request. I fell in love with the J Spa and plan to make this spa a must-visit when we occasionally make this long drive. Wishing I lived closer, I'd be there every month! Very beautiful place and massages were great. Only thing I didn't like is we did a couples massage and they were slightly awkward about getting into the room. Only other negative was I could smell the lunch my masseuse had and she breathed so heavy I couldn't relax cause I could feel it. Otherwise, had a great massage. read more

I have been going to see Jackie (the owner) for massages here for a couple of years now and she is consistently fantastic. I enjoy/need deep tissue massage and she can seriously deliver. She was even helpful in recently helping me discover one of the sources of my ongoing back pain, due to apparently rotated hips. She was able to customize our massages to help treat this issue and was key in helping me to finally feel better! The space itself is gorgeous, super clean, and relaxing. The administrative staff are always very friendly and professional. I just can't say enough good things about Jackie and her business! I saw a review on here from a few years ago about being constantly "harassed" with deals/events/promotions and I have never experienced anything like that from them. I get a reminder message for an upcoming appointment and that is it. She also is able to take some insurance plans, so that is definitely worth looking into as well! read more

I live in another state and I order from the J spa because they have all my essential hair care needs. I have 4c natural hair and find it difficult to find my hair care products all in one place. Ordering is easy and shipping is fast. I recently ordered a number of eyelashes for my friends as get together gifts and I love them. I will absolutely visit the spa when I go to Eugene later this year. It is absolutely beautiful inside and the owner is very knowledgable and committed to customer satisfaction. read more
