I'd been to the dermatologist, but the topical they gave me was making my skin purge like nothing I'd ever experienced. In comes my booking with Sarina for a first-time facial at Nushka'a Spa. With each facial from Sarina, my skin improves drastically. I'm actually confident enough to go out in public again, when I'd previously been too ashamed to go out with the way my skin was looking. She's not only good at taming my skin in the spa, she's also a hoot to chat with, and will give you great skincare advice to implement into your daily routine outside of facial treatments. This chic does it all, too. She can wax you, get your cuticles in order, and de-gunk your pores, all in one visit. Just make sure you book the treatments you want ahead of time on Nushka's website. Getting acne later in life was such a blow to my self-confidence, so I feel super lucky to have found someone as talented at their job as Sarina to help me through it!

At a time when many of us ladies have hair loss there will be scams and snake oil! Being desperate I paid $2,325 for a series of 5 treatments. She took a lot of pictures & sent them to her rep. The rep is a complete liar & said look at all that new hair growth when in fact there was none! Because I trusted this I signed up for a 2nd series. I finished with less hair than I started with because they want you to stop everything else you had been doing. Each time you have a treatment you must not sweat for 2 days which meant I could not exercise which I really enjoy. In addition to being a total waste of time and money for me the treatments were extremely painful. She blamed my lack of hair growth on a medical condition so I asked my doctor & there was nothing wrong with me! I have since gone to a dermatologist who specializes in hair & have had a biopsy & blood tests confirming no medical conditions! Please learn from my experience & seek a medical doctor rather than an esthetician. I feel Procell owes me $2,325 for the 2nd series since the results were completely fabricated!

Since this is a big step for me easing back into the real world of in-person interactions, I wanted to go to the best of the best for this haircut. This salon has amazing reviews and for good reason. I made my appointment online and it was super simple. The staff was incredibly friendly upon my arrival. Even offered me water or tea while I waited in the lobby. But let's talk about Alyssa Scott, the magician that magically transformed my hair from a dried out rat's nest into a slick beautifully layered landscape. She knew exactly what look I was going for after showing her my reference photos. She completely understood my hair and it's texture. She was able to wash, cut, blow dry, and hold a great conversation all within an hour. I have incredibly thick hair and I have a lot of it, so most of the time my haircut appointments last for a couple of hours. This was also the first cut that I didn't have to immediately rush home to fix or alter. She executed the exact style that I had envisioned for myself. I highly recommend this salon and I highly recommend Alyssa if you are looking for a big hair transformation.

I have never felt more cared for as an individual by any other provider I have seen. My initial appointment resulted in Dr. McCorkle referring me to an eye specialist for specific care that I didn't know I could get, and was 100% exactly what was in my best interest. She was caring, took her time, explained everything in a way that I could understand, and said let's get you taken care if after you get these other needs met. Wow!! I took up a lengthy amount of time with her, and she did it all for me with no personal gain. I trust her, and am so grateful. I returned months later thanking her for looking out for me, and essentially forfeiting a paid client/patient visit, providing me a free consultation and visit.
