I looked on yelp to find a trusty place for me to go to but to my surprise there was only one! Why is there only one threading place in Eugene??? At this time there were no reviews for eyebrow by threading so I was just hoping and praying that they were going to be good. By the way threading is an amazing thing and much better than waxing so Eugene needs to catch on! The eyebrow place is in a little kiosk stand in the valley river center mall. Yup, people can just walk on by and watch as you get your eyebrows fixed. Although that doesn't bother me, I actually encourage it. $13 for eyebrow threading... Much steeper than the $4 it costs in NY. When you get there you sign the sign in sheet, I never waited more than ten minutes. To get your eyebrows threaded only takes a maximum of two minutes which I love! The older woman who works there is by far the best! She perfectly shapes my eyebrows every time. The younger lady once made my eyebrows way way way to thin and I suffered for months waiting for them to grow back. Needless to say, just make sure you tell them what you want. If there is a line of people they rush and don't do as good of a job so when they hand you the mirror asking if everything looks okay, if you see problem areas or missed hairs make sure you speak up!!! I made the mistake of not saying anything and I had to go home and pluck out all the extra pesky hairs. Overall this place works for me and the majority of the time they do a good job. I made an very important hair appointment with this salon. The time was what they had 3:45 Sat…read more I had confirmed this 2x via text, including night before. 2 hrs before my appt. Sarah called and ran out of time. Told her this was important and took a lot of bravery from me. She said she call back. I was very willing to come in even later, or after 5:30 when I get back into town from work during the week. She never called back. After an hour, I finally called back. She didnt even talk to me. Said she had no time to cut my hair at the time they gave me, today at all!! After that I was willing to come next Sat. but before noon. My whole day was centered around this appt today and I didnt want to waste another whole Sat waiting! They could not accommodate me. This is unprofessional at best. It is not my fault she does not manage her time better. I understand emergencies come up, but that was never the explanation. She told me " her day got ahead of her" She never called back, left me hanging to only have me call back and was un-willing to see me later, if she was running late.
