I've been to Tippi a couple of times after getting a recommendation from a friend who is a regular here. I've been to a handful of nail salons in the past, and I'll say that my experience at Tippi is definitely one of the better ones! They take walk-ins, but if you're requesting a more complicated service, I would call in advance. The interior is beautiful, modern, very clean, and well run. Both nail techs I've had were very nice and asked me how I liked the polish/style before continuing to paint the rest. Kim was super personable, and was very detail oriented! Note: beverages are NOT complimentary! I'm used to being offered free, complimentary beverages at various salon services in the past, and assumed it was the same when I was offered a beverage upon walking in to Tippi. After I noticed my bill was $6 extra, I realized that wasn't the case. A menu of beverage prices is not listed (from what I could see), so it's not apparent to customers--just an FYI! read more

This place is GORGEOUS. I've never seen a more visually stunning nail salon. It's open and airy with high ceilings and beautiful wall designs and lighting. I like that the pricing for their services is easily accessible at the checkin desk and online. It was easy to make an appt over the phone and no issues with communication/language barriers with staff. I've gotten two pedicures with my husband here, each time with consistent care and loved my results. My husband has gotten good care but hit or miss with the employee that works on him, overly chatty with him to the point that he was annoyed. But, he was happy with his results too. Always a pleasure to go in and get my nails done by Lynn in the 3rd row(there are 2 Lynn's). She does them so well. I haven't had one pop off in the year I've been going. The front desk peeps definitely have great attitudes and the whole place has a great vibe! I'm not certain of all of the services, but I know they do manicures, pedicures, nail tips in gel or regular and facials. They've got a nice variety of refreshments too. My friend and I went for the first time together and got pedicures (one deluxe and one classic). At first I was lured by the decent pricing, but the quality of the work was not great at all. They hurt my toe and I had to say ow three times before they stopped; I have residual blood. There's residual polish on my feet and around my nails. My toe nail has a weird half cut as though she just snipped it and gave up. The place has a nice ambiance, but I just wish the quality of the pedicure was better. My sister and I had the most AMAZING deep clean facial with Tweak at Tippi Nails Bar. Having facial done before always going away feeling good but this was going away with people can tell your face looking good! When I got home my husband said my face looked fresh. I got a Gel-X fill from Linda. She shaped them crooked, the ends were all leaning to the left. I went back in to have her fix them. Linda tried telling me that the person who did them before her, Bea, glued them on crooked and that's why that shape she filed by hand was crooked. I told her they weren't, they were straight as I had my first set for 3 weeks now and was well acquainted with them. She then proceeded to filed away at the right side, which didn't need anymore taken off. I tried to tell her this and she ignored me or pretended not to hear me. The previous set I had laid across perfectly from one side of my nail bed to the other and they were even. Now there is a big part of my real nail that's exposed. While applying color it was poorly layered and rushed. Bumpy in appearance. She removed and repainted. Staff were kind and tried to fix the issue but you can't unfile a nail from a fill.... She filed it so much my nail looks crooked. I had such a bad experience. I still tipped almost the full price of the service cause I am not a shitty person but I will NOT be returning. I usually get pedicures with my friend from another salon. We had just been getting hit, and miss service from there, so we decided to branch out, and find a new to us place. I am so glad we did. Service was excellent from start, to finish. We were pampered the whole time, and my feet feel as smooth as a babies behind. They have a large area for pedicures, as well as a large section for fingernails. We want to come back to get those done next. I believe my friend had Sig, and the person I had was Gina. I do not recall the name of the service we decided on, which ever one it was it had the hot stone massage for your legs included. I highly recommend, especially if you have tired and sore legs. This was so relaxing, and much needed. My toes can go in public again, not look so ratchet, and not feel like I can sand the floors with the dry skin on the bottom of my feet. Jk, they were not that bad, but I could sure feel they were getting dry from the winter. Definitely will be back for another relaxing pedicure with my friend again, and will possibly drag my guy here as well. He likes to get pedicures too. read more

Came in with my daughter and my friend. We were greeted by name even though it was our first visit (nice touch). We selected colors and very shortly after were taken to our pedicure spa chairs. The entire space is well kept, light, and welcoming. The chairs were very comfortable, with great massage action. The staff that did our pedicures were all polite and got right to work. They have a great selection of fragrances for your lotions. The gel polish was well done - they have a ton of colors to choose from. The only reason not giving a 5 star - we were never offered a beverage. They have a great selection of beverages (as seen in the photos), and the other group that was there just before us was offered drinks. But we never were, so that was a little bit of letdown. Parking was a non-issue, as it's shared with the shopping center. read more

THANKS SIG & LINDA for seeing us on short notice (less than 4hours). Atmosphere: Quiet, very clean, nice music and TVs on a variety of interesting channels. I really liked the fact the staff were having quiet conversations with their customers, not amongst themselves. Chairs were new and massagers were very nice. I did miss the jet in the tub but there were bubbles. Services: sig was the first technician in 8 years that tackled my hubby's weird callous. Sig for the win. It would take a podiatrist to make it any better. Linda did my pedicure. She was super sweet. Really appreciated her soft upsell to gel and the fact she sealed the nail edge and put an extra layer of topcoat. You cannot feel that I have a heavy-flake glitter polish on. I have been a customer of Tippi Nails since it opened and have received at least 2 dozen services from them. The customer service is always friendly but I have noticed a decline in quality of services. In my last pedicure there, the nail technician immediately cut the side of my foot with the Foot Rasp aka callus filer/remover. Little care was taken to take care of the cut nor an apology, she just laughed. Then she cut my other toe being overzealous with the cuticle cutter. She just dabbed some solution on it and continued while it bled until long after the appointment was over. When I got home, I discovered another small cut on another toe. Then 2 days later the gel polish came off in one piece on one of my toes. Gel is supposed to last. To their credit they did reimburse me a small amount but after that, the service should've been free. I had bandages on both feet, that shouldn't occur at an appointment. I understand that mistakes happen but this was carelessness. My previous pedicure done by a different tech did a very sloppy job, he got the polish on my skin and did a bad job removing dead skin to where I had to finish it at home. I used to get such great service from the salon, so I am very confused as to what has happened over the last few months with the quality of the nail services they have provided . I hope they can gather their team and have a serious talk about safety and being thorough during appointments and also what to do when and if a client has been cut and performed the proper first aid so a client doesn't get an infection or experience anymore discomfort. I like this business and it's not fun to have to write this review and normally I wouldn't but the mistakes were a bit too egregious to overlook, especially when it has to do with health and safety. I hope they can get it together for their clients and improve. For now, I will pause on future pedicures there. read more

I have been going to Tippi for several months now and I used to really love it, but I have noticed that the quality has gone down while the prices have gone way up. The staff is nice and very personable, but I often feel very rushed by the people doing my nails. Sometimes they won't let the gel on my nails cure all the way in favor of time which leads to chipping after only a couple of days. This place is always slammed, so I get needing to be time efficient, but maybe that means allotting more time to each guest and not letting as many people book appointments or something. I want to keep going there, they're the only decent place in town, but I hate feeling rushed and having chipped nails for over $50. read more

This is my second pedicure at tippi nails. I really want to like this place but the people working there don't seem to know what they are doing. I now have one big toe that has an uneven and crooked nail. When I asked to have it straightened, I was told that she cut the nail too short to straighten it out or smooth out the top. WHAT? She didn't use a tip coat, so I am guessing the polish will come off during my vacation. Maybe that is a good thing! read more

I decided to last minute try Tippi while I was out running errands. The entire place felt very open and clean, and no harsh smells like some nail salons have. My technician was Amy and she was sweet, but she was actively watching a video on her phone while doing my gel manicure. So next time I'll probably request to see a different technician. I wasn't offered a drink like the people ahead of me, but once I asked I was able to get one. I'm looking forward to my next visit! read more

Went there Wednesday afternoon, I called when they opened and went in an hour later. Since it is new it is very clean and organized. Staff is very professional and friendly. I am so sad to have to write this review. I was super excited when I saw the new place and couldn't wait to try it. I was so happy with the service while there. On day 4 the corner of my finger nail polish chipped. On day 5 I have a crack going right in the middle and the nails not even broken. The only thing that's still in good standing is my eyebrow waxing. The gentleman that answers the phone when you call to make the appointment is very easy to understand well spoken and will definitely try and accommodate the time you want to get in. The lady who did my waxing and Nails was super nice I believe her name was Kim and I believe she was the owner. It's a new place so it was definitely cleaned and well organized. And they spent quite a bit of time on me I didn't feel like I was being rushed. They offered drinks at an extra cost if that's what you would like. And the price was reasonable.
