My little sister and I have been looking for a place to get our nails done here in Eugene...WE FINALLY FOUND THE BEST!!!! Everyone is super friendly and will do whatever design you show them. Super talented nail technicians with extreme attention to detail. You can tell that they take a lot of pride in their work and it definitely shows. I even had a broken nail that couldn't be clipped because it was one of those that broke on the skin...well it was fixed! You can't even tell it was broken and it doesn't even hurt. The salon is clean and they are professional, polite and will ask you to wash your hands as soon as you walk in which contributes to an overall clean feel when looking for a color or sitting in the chairs. Whether I'm just trying to get my old gel removed because it will literally last that long, or treating my daughter and friends to a comfortable and quality experience, I know Amanda's Nails will be there to help. Scheduling is quick and communication is clear, they will make sure that you get what you came for or help you decide if you're on the fence about a design. I've seen them handle numerous problem folks with tact and diplomacy for both that person and everyone else in the salon.....I've seen them accommodate large groups and prioritize the clients on schedule over walk ins. I've never had a bad experience, and at this point I'm a regular even though I only come in a couple times a year. David did my wedding nails and I fondly think of his quality and craft every time I walk past that photo on the wall. I failed to pack flip flops and was in a rush to meet my U of O student and my tech went above and beyond to assist me. Thought it was great they could squeeze me in but I should have waited. Asked for a gel mani and they did a color change but charged for full mani. Apparently they don't soak or clean your cuticles, in fact the only thing they do is trim and file length then change the color. The guy was going to leave my nails uneven and filed poorly. When I asked him to fix it he argued with me about perspective. So I asked for the file and did it myself. He then globbed the gel on and I'm stuck with a crap, puffy, gel color. With ripped up cuticles! Only giving 3 stars because I've had way worse. Wouldn't recommend unless you're getting a full set. read more

Their pedicure includes everything! No up-charging for this or that. Their massage chairs are also really really good. Some places' chairs are mediocre. But these do an excellent job. The gel nailpoish started peeling after a.couole of days with normal use. I may return if I'm in a pinch but probably won't. They have a punch card, ask for it if you like it. I love this nail salon. I'm horrible at making appts so I'm thrilled that they can accommodate same-day appts. This is a family-run business and each tech seems to take great pride in their work. They're all very nice and personable too. I have a painful ingrown nail on my big toe and they took the time to take care of it for me. Feels so much better! I usually opt for a basic gel color, but this time I had an urge to get an all-seeing eye design. My tech admitted she wasn't good at designs so once she finished my pedi, she had another tech take over. I showed him a pic of the design I had in mind and he did a great job copying it. I was thoroughly unimpressed with this nail place, and really surprised by the high ratings it's received! I got a pedicure and the job was not a thorough one at all. There isn't a deluxe option, just a standard option. But the nail technician didn't do a great job around the cuticles, and didn't attempt to remove and calluses or even sand them down. Nothing. Also, the polish wasn't done well. Lots of mistakes and it wasn't painted close to the nail bed. I was so disappointed that I just felt bad for the establishment and didn't have it in me to ask for a better polish job. The salon was dirty and looked to be in bad condition. I went to them for awhile until I found my new nail lady who I've been seeing for over a year now, and have since learned what MMA smells/feels like after getting acrylics done for over 5 years. The owner told me himself that he gets and uses a "special mix" at the salon. They're super nice and do an okay job, but work is rushed and the acrylic they use is AWFUL FOR YOU. read more

I was disappointed with this place after seeing all of the excellent reviews. 1. Poor sanitation- same tools used for every one. 2. Ouch!- this was by far the most painful mani-pedi I have ever had. Second cuticle she cut had me bleeding. 3. Manicure?-she didn't do some the things you might typically expect with a manicure; nail soak, lotion, cuticle cream. 4. Over priced- not a bad price for a full mani-pedi in general, but definitely overpriced for what I received. On the plus side: 1. the people were very nice. 2. The designs she did on my toes are super cute. Maybe if this "David" I saw in all of the reviews add one my nails it would have been better. read more

I came here last year once before everything shut down per COVID protocols. They did an amazing job and it was very decently priced. I came back today to get my nails done for the first time in over a year and couldn't be happier with my decision! Ricky did a full acrylic set with gel on top for me and they are the most beautiful nails ever! Both he, and the other nail techs here, do a great job of asking if you like their work as they are doing it and I feel like this really helps to ensure you get exactly what you want and what you're going to pay for.
