This place is massive compared to other salons I've been too. The koi pond out front is a nice relaxing area to wait, though we didn't have to wait long. We picked the mid-range pedicure and the staff were nice, the few times they spoke to us. My technician was a bit light on the massage pressure but I didn't say anything because it was my first time here and I want to experience the service without any changes to see what the standard is. The polish job was good, no complaints there. They have a ton of colors to choose from. However, I felt like the length and quality of the pedicure was a bit lacking given what we chose and what was received. If I return, I will be more assertive now that I know what to expect and hopefully will feel a bit more worth the $50 read more

The polish that was used was applied too thick and even after sitting for 15 minutes to dry the polish did not set. They didn't have me put it under a dryer either. She's attentive, conscientious, caring, sweet and she does really good work. Been going to her for years. Literally years and she has yet to disappoint. Derek? He's great too. Alex at the front desk? Love him too. Do they charge for "every little thing"? Sometimes, yes, but that's how they get paid. It's a business. A wise man once said "all things being equal, you buy from the cheapest place" that phrase is not about being the cheapest it's about showing what makes you not equal. Scarlet is a fine example of that. She does amazing work and she knows her clients and what they like and what the expect and she meets my expectation every time. I've been to this nail place several times. I've had appointments as well as just walk-ins. If you're interested in just getting your nails done and having just a quick and easy experience, then this is a place for you. I'm a pretty basic gal with just a color gel polish. However, the few times a year that I do get my nails done it's a treat for myself. If that's how you are, then I would say that this isn't the nail salon for you. Every time I've been there I do feel very rushed through. I've ordered basic services as well as the extended more "luxury" services and all of the services feel very rushed. Everything does feel clean and sanitary. So if you're looking for a basic in and out experience, this would be a good place for you. You do have the option to order drinks if you would like. At one point I accidentally let a moan escape me and I was so embarrassed lol but Lee just took it as the compliment it was and said "thank you" She is very good at what she does! To start off with, I always get my pedicures here, and I love a few of the techs that they have! I went in last week for just a normal gel manicure and decided to just book with whoever that had available, so I guess this is my own fault. My nails look awful. See pictures! I could have (and have!) given myself a better gel manicure, without bumps, bubbles, and one that's actually to the edges. She also went ahead and used a white polish, when the color I had chosen was an off-white. I clarified the name and number of the color with her many times, and my toes are the color I wanted, so they're clearly different colors. She also filed my nails poorly, and filed with the board back and fourth on my nail bed and edges. This is terrible for your nails! For a $40 manicure, I expected better. It's so disappointing to frequent a place for many years and then be let down like this. When the girl checking me out asked how everything was, I replied "Well, it was fine, but-" and she cut me off to take my credit card. I previously left a review for Nails Uncorked because I have been a customer for years and my last visit was very disappointing. I was grossly overcharged and the management team was very defensive and snippy about it. The owner Derek reached out to me claiming that he wanted to make it right, but he never responded to my messages after that. Horrible customer service. In addition, the price for pedicures keep going up but the quality is way down. I paid 60 bucks and was done in 25 minutes! I would recommend trying a different place. I have had wonderful pedicure at this establishment many times and definitely recommend them, but I had just received my worst pedicure ever today. Only due to the specific nail tech doing the pedicure, or lack there of. He was on his phone multiple times, skipped a few steps of a classic pedicure, cut my toe to where I was bleeding, very rough, and just seemed extremely lazy. I did let the front desk know and they did compensate me for the lousy pedicure, and they apologized. This is not a spa pedicure. Their "spa" pedicure is basic 30 minute service with a super lame massage and lotion smeared into my anklets which was not wiped off. I was then left to sit for 25 minutes before I finally took out my toe sponges and shimmied into my sandals. No one said anything to me about next steps or thank you. Not worth the price. read more

I have struggled with leaving this update, but I am very angry, so here I go. Back in September, I had scheduled an appointment with my nail technician. I had conflict come up, so I called to see if I could move it. I spoke with Luke and told me no problem. Fast forward to the day of the appointment, I get a text from my technician to see if I could come in a little later. I was confused as had already moved the appointment to later. She said ok see then." Within not even 10 minutes had passed, and the salon was calling to inform them that they needed to cancel my appointment and reschedule with another technician because mine was not working this weekend. I questioned them as I had literally just spoken to my technician. I then called her directly and asked if she was OK. She told that Luke and her got into an argument, and he took her off the schedule. I had an event that evening and really needed my nails done, so I called the salon back and told them I needed my nails done my appointment time or close to it. They responded that they could fit me in now till the next day. I called the other locations, and they were also booked up. I called and let them I would no longer using their services since they obviously have no regard for their customers. I spent an hour calling around and did find another salon that would squeeze me in. I have not been back, and they have lost a long-time customer as well as all the referrals I gave. read more

I had a bad experience at the other location but figured since I was just going in for a gel removal things couldn't go wrong. I had gone to the website the day before and seen that gel removal by soaking was $5. So when I walked in and the tech started drilling the gel off, I was a little confused, as well as annoyed at the slight burning and the damage to my natural nails. But whatever, I figured, my grown out gel was off. When I went up to pay, however, they charged me $10. I mentioned the website and even brought the page up on my phone, and they said it was only $5 if it was in addition to another service. I went here and asked for my gel nails to be replaced. Instead, without telling me and without my noticing, they put on acrylic nails. These acrylic nails felt as if they were super glued to my own nails . I had to have someone soak my nails in a 100% acetone for 20 minutes, and then she had to scrape and sand my nails to get rid of what they put on them. My nails are literally bleeding. They snuck acrylic nails in on me. Why would anyone do that? I was told they probably did it to save money. I have never before had acrylic nails...always gel. I am just hoping i do not end up with infections. Absolute nightmare. I.have had good pedis here before. However, this sneaky acrylic nail b.s. has me scared off for good. I'm conflicted with this review because basically every time I go in I am 110% satisfied. I swear to everyone that their Signature Spa Pedicure is hands down the best pedicure experience anywhere! I still stand behind that. I've never needed to ask for a specific person because every tech I have had has been excellent. Both for pedicures and full set of acrylics. Well yesterday I went in for a scheduled appointment for a full set. The exact kind that I get every time I get my nails done routinely for the past 2 years. I got "Luke". He began and started prepping my nails for a fill and when he started explaining that the glitter acrylic powder was going to be a little different that what I had, I reminded him I made the appointment for a full set. He then said he had to check and see if he had time for that. After deciding he did he began. After being treated the entire time like I was inconveniencing him, while he threw stuff around, was very harsh with me, cut me twice and constantly left me sitting while he talked on the phone or text, I got the absolute worst set of nails I have ever received (even compared to the $20 set done in pony village in North Bend). There is lines where the two powders meet up so it looks like I need a fill or just had a bad one ( it is clear so hard to see in the pic but you can and it's very obvious in the daylight) the tops are chunky like there is lint trapped in the polish and even though I asked for the same length and shape as the ones he took off of me they are waaay shorter and almond shaped instead of oval. As well as coming up onto my cuticle and most nails being shaped asymmetrical and crooked. I love this place! But absolutely don't have your nails done by Luke!!! I've been to Nails Uncorked a few times over the years and every time I go, it is an overall a very average experience. The preparation of the nails seems to be rushed and the nail tech seldom asked my opinion on shape and length. Also, he was on his phone for almost all of the appointment. During his removal of my previous gel the dermal was on high and it got really hot and uncomfortable on my nails, I asked if he could turn it down a little bit and he obliged. The people there are nice, not necessarily friendly and although my nail shape and experience wasn't as grand as I had hoped, the paint job on my nails was as expected. read more
