I went in to get a pedicure and the nail tech cut my right toe with the cuticle tool and cut my left toe so short, it was gushing blood, and then continued to put on the abrasive chemicals which hurt way way more because of the open wounds she gave me. This is like my third pedicure, so I didn't know how to advocate for myself other than tell her she was hurting me which she completely ignored and slapped my foot. I can't believe I paid for the service. I definitely talked to another person at the front desk and they said they could offer me another pedicure, which obviously isn't what I wanted. I don't recommend going here unless you want to be cut up and treated like trash for telling them they hurt you. read more

I walked in for a pedicure today and The guy who did it was very short and rude. I used to do nails myself so I usually pick up on what they want you to do. I couldn't tell anything and he was touching my toes weird then yelled at me to give him my foot. He rubbed some lotion on but I wouldn't call it a massage by any means. The lady who walked in after me got a friendly guy who actually massaged her feet and conversed. The lady who painted my toes with gel was nice and did a pretty good job. This place is not usually on my list of places to go but it fit my schedule so I could pick up dinner and groceries. 46 dollars later and I wish I had waited to go somewhere else. read more

I came in here recently with my neighbor. She's been in here many times before. In fact, the owner of the shop recognized her and knew what she wanted and how she wanted her nails done. I was impressed by the fact the owner knew and remembered her. His wife was the one who did my nails. She was very quiet, but kind as well. She listened to everything I asked for, spoke good English to hold down a conversation. The shop caters to everyone. I saw an elderly man stop in to have his nails trimmed, and they were just as warm and welcoming to him as every woman in the shop. The shop itself is surprisingly clean. I'm not entirely sure what I was expecting, but I was impressed. It's a bigger shop that I thought as well. It looks small from the outside. They do appointments as well as walk-ins. Which is nice. I appreciate that they accommodate both. Would I return? Yes. It's a nice clean shop, a family run business, with people who know their clients and are friendly. read more

Perfect Nails/McKenzie Nails... Will never go back, wish I could give zero stars. Aside from my toes looking like they were shaped and painted by a first grader, the woman also demolished my feet during the pedicure. I asked for callus remover, as I always do in the summer months due to wearing sandals, she put too much of it on and dripped it onto the top of one of my toes. Unfortunately, I didn't realizing it was burning through my toe at the toenail, now I am left with a badly burned toe that is extremely painful. She also over scrubbed the bottom and side of one foot to the point of bleeding. It has been two days and it is still hard to put pressure on one of my feet. Worst $45 of my life. read more

No customer walks in that is not greeted right away, and most of the time walk-ins are taken in fairly quickly if not right away. If I could give this business a -10 stars I would!! I called the day before my appointment and asked how much a pedicure without polish would be I was told $27 and made an appointment for 9 am the next morning. . Then just to verify before I had the service done I asked AGAIN how much the service would be- I was told $15. I questioned her saying I was told $27, yesterday. She stated with no polish and only the pedicure it would be $15. I go to pay and I was charged $36. I asked why after being told $27 yesterday and $15 today. I also stated that on the website it says $27 for a basic pedicure. He said that's because this is McKenzie Nails and Spa now -not perfect nails. I said what does that have to do with anything? He said our prices are different- and this isn't perfect nails anymore- longer story short- Be careful what you appoint for and know even when you ask for pricing before hand they'll totally change it on you at checkout!!! read more

Getting my nails done is one of my ways of making my life a little more beautiful. No matter where I am or what I'm doing I can look down at my nails. The pretty colors that remind me of something I love and instantly raise my mood and cheer me up (this fall it's Delicious Tango apples) At Perfect Nails by Albertsons on Main Street in Springfield I get gorgeous nails every time. Locally owned/managed. The man named Two does my nails usually but it seems that everyone there is qualified. I recommend making an appointment and deciding on the colors ahead. If you are bothered by the nail smell go early. They have lots of easy parking and as an added bonus you can grab some goodies at Albertsons after your done. Went in to the salon to ask about price of nails and schedual to have a set done. Upon walking in there was someone on the phone talking in a low voice and from around the corner a man walks over and barks at me "what do you want!" I said I want to make an appointment for my nails to be done and he just waves me off and walks away then says we can do them come sit and I said "I just want to make an appointment" his reply "you come sit over here" and then tosses a few samples on the counter at me and walked off mumbled something and walked away leaving me to look at colors alone. I was not prepared for this and now I felt like I had intruded and was not welcome really. He came back and says she will be here in a moment then walks a few seats down and sits. I felt very awkward being there. Then a lady walks over looking rather irritated that she was having to help me. Needless to say she did my nails quick with an overlay and I asked for gels, the whole time she never asked for the kind of color I wanted till half way through I picked a soft pink but got a bubble gum pink color, not what I chose for 45 dollars. Honestly I haven't had my nails done in years and have been in many salons but this was the worst experience ever and never going back. I don't care how well the atmosphere is if you can't be polite to a new customer then that tells me you have no manners. Just had a pedi yesterday, first thing you notice upon entering, strong odor of nail products. Lady in the chair next to me had a "technician" who knew (or spoke)no English and was having a hard time communicating. My "technician" did a good job but was a little rough and when she got the warm towel for my legs it was soooo hot she literally threw it over my legs. Lastly, I added a tip to my charge clip but when I got home I noticed she added another dollar without my permission. Scratch this place from my list. read more

Eh, it's not the best but it's not the absolute worst. It's in a very dated salon, I question the cleanliness of the tools used. I've never had a Deluxe pedicure where all that was done is salt scrub and mask on my legs and minimum filing and polish on my toes, there was no scrub on on the heels or attempt to remove dead skin. Then I was moved to a nail station with bare feet and given a cold and wet towel to put my feet on. My manicure was done in cold water with little care of the shape and length of my nails. I could have polished them better than the guy doing them. After everything was done my toes were not dry so I was placed with them in a drying contraption to where I could see an employee walk to the sink, proceed to pick his nose wipe in on his jeans and then walk away with out washing. Disgusting. The only up side is the lady working is super nice but seems to be oblivious to everything going on here. read more
