I had the worst and most uncomfortable experience today at this nail salon. The worker Tim is who did my fill, got upset because I didn't like the nail color he painted on my nails and I asked nicely if I could have a different color instead. He then spoke in a different language with the other workers and aggressively grabbed my hand to take off the nail color that I didn't like. I pulled my hand back and walked up to the front to pay for the service and told them that, that was not right what he did! The lady ended up charging me $42 even though I didn't even receive the full service, got treated terrible, and walked out with my nails messed up. I was not rude at all and his behavior was very unprofessional and made me feel very uncomfortable. I would NOT recommend this place at all!!! Horrible service and I'll never go back!!! read more

This is definitely one of the worst pedicures i've had in Oregon. It was $35 and it looks like i did it myself. The women that did my pedicure didn't get the dead skin off my feet (a basic thing that comes with every pedicure) so i had to ask her to. A lot of the nail salons that i've been to have a machine that spins really fast that they use to take off the dead skin etc. Instead, this women used the cuticle cutters on the bottom of my feet. She was being very unprofessional about it and even made a noise of disgust when i showed her what needed attention. I'm so disappointed how this pedicure turned out and i'm even more disappointed that it was 35 dollars, when i had such a bad experience. Update: I let my toes try for about 30 minutes after i got them done and they still chipped about 2 hours after i left the salon. Do Not waste your time or money by going to this place. read more

Went in for an acrylic set today. I normally go to a local place near my house in California which charges me about 20$-25$ for a full set depending on what I get. LA nails charged me 40$ for a full set plus nail removal. Now I don't mind paying a little extra, but this was not worth the extra money. The woman who did my nails was nice, but didn't do an amazing job. My nails themselves look nice but she only did my nails. No cuticle removal, no little extra pampering things to make it worth the extra money. She didn't even lotion my hands at the end, and left a lot of glue and residue on my fingers which I had to peel off. I wouldn't recommend this place, sadly. read more

I left and my nails seemed fine then I went to the store after and realized my nails weren't even set. He had done too thick of paint and didn't leave it under the light long enough. Then two days later my thumb peeled off like in the picture. Total waste of time and money. I'll be repainting them today. The older gentlemen that did my nails could not have been any less friendly. The other people there seemed very nice and personable, however, and seemed to have regular clients in there. I have never been to oregan before but my nails were really messed up from a la shop ripping my acrylics off. My nails were really damaged. Just spent $175 for messy manicure and pedicure and wax residue left on my face. Tech didn't talk at all neither did esthetician. She acted like it was a nuisance to even have my face waxed. This salon is like any other basic salon. I came to get the basic pedicure which is $30-their lowest pedicure price. The full treatment included clipping of the nails, a foot scrub, a massage for about 3 minutes per leg, a hot towel for about 10 seconds, and of course the regular nail polish with a top coat. Like any other salon, they try and pressure you to upgrade. I said I just wanted the basic pedicure, but of course they ask if IM SURE I don't want gel. No, I'm broke I can't afford more than the basic. Then a few minutes into the pedicure I get asked if I want the hot rocks treatment that'll make my legs "so smooth," again, no, I came to pay $30. I'm broke and just want my feet to look pretty for once. When all is said and done, the lady says "well since you didn't get the gel, you're going to have to sit here for at least 20 minutes." Talk about a guilt trip. It sounded like she was trying to make me feel bad about not getting the gel. I said I didn't mind, but I only waited for about 10 minutes. I felt my toes and they were dry, plus I was wearing sandals. I think she just felt the need to be dramatic about the wait time because I didn't get gel so she wanted to make a point out of it. When it came time to pay, I showed them the yelp coupon that is on here for 10% off for students and new customers. When I showed the lady she was very confused and said "that must've been with the old owner" then spoke in her language to another one of the ladies so I'm not sure what else she said. It seemed it was a big deal but she said it was fine and that she'd honor it. Then she said my total was $28. Um?? 10% of 30 is 3. It should have been $27 but I guess she just really wanted that extra $1 so I pretended like I was stupid and didn't notice. Either way, I tipped her $1 since apparently she wanted it so bad that she had to lie. All in all, the short massage was nice and the massage chairs are nice. The pedicure was fine although she did smudge some on my skin and didn't bother to fix it. The nail painting itself wasn't very even but if you don't look close, the pedicure is cute. On my way out, I saw that there was a complimentary beverage list, but it wasn't mentioned to me whatsoever. Would have been nice to at least have a water if I had known. I would say, if you're coming here to get a basic treatment, then expect less than basic service. It seems they only really engage with you if you upgrade or have more expensive treatments done. Two other ladies that came in for GEL pedicures looked like they were having a blast with the ladies doing their feet. So, that being said, if you're rich unlike me, you'll have a great time. read more

As soon as I sat down I was immediately asked if I wanted something to drink. I was never offered this with the previous owners. This was probably one of the worst manicures I have gotten. Felt rushed... even though I was the only one in the salon! Dude doing my nails had his phone ringing like every 10 minutes. I took a peak and it said "______ nail salon" so I guess his other job was busy that day. I am reviewing a day after my nails got done. I already have a chip! I was only in town for a couple days so I thought I'd try the nearest nail salon. I saw the mixed reviews.... so I gabe it a shot. Friendly owners and clean salon. Nail tech was nice, but butchered my nails. I came in for a pedicure and a fill. I was in the salon for 2 hours because they kept messing up. Had to redo my toe a few times because they didn't let it dry all the way. They also had to redo one of my nails twice because it came out crooked then too short. They cut my cuticles three times and laughed about it. Said I was just "bad luck." My nails are lumpy and there's still color left from my previous nails. There's also random sparkles on my right hand nails and I have no idea how that happened. I paid full price still because they offered no discount and still tipped. This place is a real bummer. This is the first time that I have left a nail salon with my nails looking much worse than when I came in. I got a gel "manicure" that lasted a total of 8 minutes, and consisted of a couple rough snips at my cuticles (one of which caused a cut that burned throughout the process), a quick file, a gel polish application that could have been done better by a 5 year old. There is polish all over the sides of my cuticles! No cleaning under the nails, no oil, no lotion. The woman had to tell me it was done multiple times before I got out of the chair because I was in disbelief that it could be over that fast, and that that was what they were calling a manicure. I took my friend to pamper her for her birthday. A young guy took care of my friend, and I was getting my nails from Ivy. I wasn't quite happy how they were telling us to switch our seats every step of getting our gel manicure. So basically, I wasnt getting my nails from one person. I was getting it from both of them. My Manicures have all been Fantastic and my Pedicure today was Awesome.
