Went back a second time hoping for a better experience - no such luck. 265. for two hard gel fills and two pedicures! Asked if my friend and I could sit together but was told no even though all the chairs were empty. "The equipment is too hard to move". ?? Nails are different length, different thicknesses, missing polish on some, not filled to the cuticle, big gaps left open, cuticles are ragged and skin is roughed up because technician was watching videos on his phone and not looking where he was filing. Also talking on long phone calls while working not paying attention. I get you sometimes have to pickup a quick call but not just chatting away for 15 minutes. Picked a color I wanted, was told it wouldn't work, he grabbed another color, nothing like the one I picked and I got barbie pink nails when I has chosen a pale nude pink. At that point I just wanted it to be over. Seriously, try anywhere else! Will not be back. read more

Went in for a relaxing pedicure, came out with open wounds, jagged toenails, and an overall sense of what the heck just happened. Overall it looks really nice, you'd think for the neighborhood there would be more care. My tech decided to take a call in the middle of my service, and seemed to be lacking any attentiveness. I've been two times thinking that maybe a different nail tech would be more caring, but after this second experience I'm certain I won't return. read more

Honestly I regret coming here. It's a long review :/ To preface I've had gel extensions/acrylics before with my own experience and previous salons/techs. I came for a simple pink with some reflective glitter gel( if they had it) extension for my wedding. Even showed a video of what I wanted. I have strong nice nails with a medium tip length. I preferred to keep the length as much as I could, which I why I opted for gel. My nail tech didn't even ask before cutting my nails to the nub and then proceeded to prep for acrylic extensions. I told him no and that I wanted gel extensions and he said "it will be too clumpy and acrylic is better". The job was not worth it at all. He got the cured acrylic and top coat on my skin and and didn't do any cuticle work. When I told him about the spillover he just sanded it off but did no touch up so some of them where rough. He didn't have the reflective glitter, so he chose to do a silver dust without reviewing it with me first. It covered up the pink and I asked him to fix that and so he wiped some off but it didn't do much so the amount per nail was inconsistent. He also was on his phone texting several times and for several minutes each time. The nails came out uneven, no apex, and my nails are so brittle now, nail beds are so sensitive overly dented and damaged. Also the acrylic was so thin you could see my natural nail through it. I have been doing my nails for years but just wanted to indulge which is why I came to the salon. So sad about how it turned out. And when I went to checkout, the front desk man was on the phone and I tried to explain that he was overcharging me since what I got was acrylics, he said he follows what is written on the order ticket. Go find another salon/nail tech to go to!!! read more

I've been here a couple of times, once for pedicure and once for a manicure. It's a good basic nail salon, I like how big and airy it feels and the staff is friendly. Good selection of drinks, both non-alcoholic and alcoholic. (Although you do have to pay for them!) Prices are reasonable. I dropped in today for a basic manicure on my natural nails as a spontaneous treat. My nail tech was friendly and efficient. It was pretty basic/quick/no frills--I got a quick soak, cuticle maintenance, a very quick nail shaping and buffing, a very brief hand massage and a nail polish application. Definitely not a spa experience, but I was satisfied and I like my new purple nails. My pedicure a few years ago was much longer and felt more luxurious. (I may have paid for a more involved one, I can't remember!) The nail stations are kind of dirty, honestly (just lots of residue from various acrylic nail applications, it seems), but the equipment is very clean--a newly sealed bag of tools for every client. So, I felt comfortable with it! If I ever want a basic manicure or pedicure I'll definitely come back. read more

I like coming here for pedicures. The service is decent and they can get me in pretty quick usually. I like that you are separated from the manicure area so you don't have to breathe in the chemicals from people getting their nails done. Sometimes I feel like different people give you different experiences even though you purchased the same "package". Sometimes I get a nice leg massage and other times I don't. My friend asked for a nail design and they seemed like they couldn't really do it and made it a little bit of a hassle for her when she asked telling her she had to get gel for a design which normally isn't the case in other places. Either way for a basic pedicure it's good but for anything else, it might be worth looking elsewhere. read more

My problem is that on the wall facing my chair was a huge big screen TV that was showing a program about a woman who shot her husband thinking he was a bear. Ended up paying $275 for two pedicures and full sets. My nails did not look professionally done (I am a nail tech who usually does my own but this was a mother day surprise with my daughter from Texas). My pedi guy was the sweetest but the lady who did my nails wouldn't even speak or look at me and kept tight gripping my fingers and twisting them. My daughter's toes looked like crap. Her person was more focused on her phone than my daughter. My daughter asked her to fix a couple bubbles in her toe polish and the girl wouldn't fix it. Kept telling my daughter she was wrong. I've been here multiple times now - each time several months apart. Honestly, I leave feeling disappointed time and time again. Today I went in feeling super excited to treat myself to a gel manicure! Unfortunately, the service I received was horrible and left me feeling like I had been taken advantage of. My nail tech spoke zero english and therefore was unable to communicate with me effectively. Despite the fact that I showed her a photo of exactly what I wanted (a french, gel manicure), the final product was sloppy and something a third-grader could've done better at home. I go to this facility several times a year. I am usually very satisfied with my experience. Yesterday I took a friend for her birthday and spent a little extra to be pampered. Her pedicure was perfect. Mine was the worst I have ever had. My rt foot looked great. My left foot was dull and I think she forgot the top coat. She also almost forgot the hot towels and hot rock massage I paid for. She also scraped my feet so hard on the sides she cut them. I went in to let them know and all they said was we will call u. I am less than impressed with the customer service that I was given. All they said was I have ur number we will let u know what we can do for u! I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt to fix it but I called them again after several hours without hearing back and they said we will call u. Wow. read more

I got my nails done here a while ago. There was a miscommunication with my nail color and when I realized they were doing the wrong color it felt like it was too late to say anything. The total service was $120, which I never spend on my nails. Huge splurge. Then, I went home and my nails were smudged. I went back to ask them to fix it and they refused to make the changes and blamed it on me. I'll never go back. Terrible customer service. read more

Called for a reservation and they got us in for a pedicure right away! Not something I have ever done before, but I was spending the afternoon with my sweetie and she wanted to go. I figured I didn't have anything to lose and it started with an adult beverage. My wife picked the pedicure from the menu but I picked my beverage, and it started with sitting in a massaging chair and then the techs started with different lotions, a hot water soak and various tools to work on my toe nails, not really sure what the tech did, but it sure was a relaxing time. My wife got her toes painted so I got to sit in the massage chair for a while and relax. We walked out and my wife was very happy and relaxed, a real win win for me:) Next time you have an afternoon with the significant other and you are looking for a little spoiling, this is a must do and look for the "uncorked" part, you will not regret it! read more

Came in to get a fill and some cute nail art for my college graduation. The people were nice and able to fit me in but as soon as it was time for design and color things went south. First of all, the color swatch showed a beautiful pastel, almost robin egg blue. This color was straight out of my 2014 Pinterest board. I can totally acknowledge that I should have said something when I saw the color but as a socially anxious person I didn't want to be an inconvenience and I thought it would be just a small thing I could get over. After the nail art though it was just something I couldn't get off my mind. I asked for a pretty simple design that the tech said they could do but it ended up having gaps in it and the white outline didn't match up to the color block at all. You can also see my natural nail through the tip which I didn't find very flattering either. This whole time I was telling myself "it's no big deal, I probably won't even notice it by tomorrow" until I got home and saw a hair or fuzz embedded in the clear gel polish!! That's when I decided to call to see if they could get me in to paint over everything. (This manicure cost me $63 including a 20% tip) Now because they were so understanding over the phone and able to get me in that evening free of charge, I thought I was going to have more of a 2-3 star experience. Remember earlier when I said I am a socially anxious person?? They booked me with the same nail tech as before and they did NOT seem happy that I didn't like my original manicure. I felt very awkward explaining why I had come back and I felt as though they were being passive aggressive with me. The first time I came in, they filed off my old polish with ease but the second time it hurt and I even got cut by the electric file! Man oh man I am just glad I have a cute color for my graduation now but if you want to come here I would 1. Ask to see the bottle of polish before it goes on your nail 2. Don't get nail art unless you know your tech well and 3. If you do need to get things fixed and you are awkward like me just go somewhere else or do it at home. read more

They're just another chop shop that decides to overprice just cause they have fancy decorations and are located in a preppy spot of town. They don't care about what your preferences, they use dirty files and buffers, and Linda chopped off all my natural nail that I had been trying to grow out and without even asking me she just clipped away. Meh. I am not sure why it is hard to find a nail tech that can do ombre. They could not so I settled for a nail fill and nail art. When I envision nail art I think of art. NOT stickers. Mimi did a nice job on the fill however the color did not go all the way to the edges on some of the nails so that was a bummer. The puffy leave stickers...look just like that, fall leaves with a clear glob of clear coat polish to hold them on. When I agreed to the sticker they looked like flat decals, not puffy. Disappointed in a big way. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 as it had been a while since I could get a fill from my own nail tech (I travel for work and at times have to get in where I can) and they did look better than the grow out. I go here often for pedicure because conveniently located and received adequate to good pedicures. However, be very careful who you get to do your service! I just got the worst pedicure ever. The person was obviously not an experienced professional. She failed to clean under and around nails, little to no cuticle work or callous care, and despite requests she didn't appear to understand what I asked her to do. The calf massage was so light and quick it felt like a joke. To top it off, when she brought me the polish she asked if it looked right and when I said it was too dark she said it was what I asked for and used it anyway. By that time, I just wanted it over so I didn't insist on different color. Costly mistake. This kind of really bad service happened just once before. I'd probably just keep quiet if I didn't know people are going to spend a lot of money here hoping to get their nails done properly. First, the tech immediately remarked that my nails were short and was I sure I didn't want acrylics, which was a little rude but I brushed it off. Next, they brought the gel color over and it was significantly different from what I'd picked; the sample was a soft shimmery pink, but this was a darker hot pink. I mentioned it and showed them the sample (I was getting my nails done for a wedding and the hot pink wouldn't have worked), so they looked for something similar to the sample. It was a flat pink without shimmer so they added a glitter top coat, which I learned after the fact was an additional charge. I did like what we end up with. It's been 10 days and the gel has completely peeled up already. I feel bad that my friend who got married paid for her entire bridal party to get their nails done here. read more

He was very judgemental of me at one point telling most nail techs in Oregon wouldn't do my nails because I'm from California and I don't know what good nails are. Hilarious because he did a terrible job on my nails leaving the acrylic thick and no sign of any shaping so they have that lovely lumpy misshapen look. PLEASE READ. Hi, I know an accusation like this can be pretty serious considering we are in a pandemic, but I strongly believe I got COVID from this place. I went in the beginning of February and a few days after I tested positive (I do not see any other people besides those in my household and do not typically leave the house). When I went there, the owner was not wearing his mask and when he did put it on, he wasn't wearing it properly (below his nose). Furthermore, the employees did not sanitize their materials and pens between uses and they seemed very careless. Last time coming here. Booked an appointment at 4 pm, right after work, and it is now 4:50. Is it the end of the world? No. F*cking annoying especially since I just got off a 10 hour shift? I called ahead of time to schedule an appointment and while on the phone I asked how much a full acrylic set with a gel design would be. He said $45 for the set, $10 for gel, and design price varies and after describing what I want he said it shouldn't be more than $5. It ended up being $25 additional dollars for my design and I didn't know until they were completely done. I never get my nails done so I don't know if this is common however I just wish I knew the price beforehand. I started coming here about every 2.5 weeks, a little sooner than most nail fills, but only because I am SO excited to see what Steven and Christi have in store for me. My pedicures are always perfect -- as someone athletic my toes tend to chip. Never when Christi does them! She does a truly fantastic job. As for my finger nails, Steven is a nail god. I am blown away every single time. When I let him do a little "freestyle" decor, it's always a perfect reflection of my preferences and mood. Not to mention, the place is a wine bar!! You can enjoy a nice glass of wine (or beer, or champagne) while you get your nails done. These are the nicest, sweetest people ever. Always great conversation and a great time. I love this place! I went to a salon and had them mess up my nails, called Nails Uncorked Amazon and asked if Steven had time because I saw his work on here. They got me in last minute and I will definitely be back. I am so pleased with my set, the service, the price, parking, location, everything was great. Steven takes his time and knows exactly what he is doing. Amazing shape and technique.
