Do not pay upfront. No record of what was done while appointments are left unfinished. Bad business ethics. I won't go back.

Willamette Valley Esthetics and Electrolysis

Please do not go here for electrolysis. I have gotten anesthetized electrolysis at least 5 times…read morehere and not once did I have a good experience. Scheduling was always a nightmare, my skin was left damaged and scarred, and Lacey always found ways to blame me for it. Often saying I wasn't consuming enough water prior to treatments despite me basically drinking water nonstop for days leading up to the appointments. She offers a service you can't get anywhere else locally, and takes advantage of the desperation of her clients to over-bill for bad service. I heard nothing but bad things about her from multiple sources prior to treatment, but I wanted to believe it would be different for me. I'm sad to say I've heard of at least two other people since I stopped going that have had similar terrible experiences.

Everyone's so friendly and relaxed and is willing to answer any questions you might have, and I've been following their instructions to the T and have been healing just fine. (Protip: Just water isn't enough. Get some Gatorade and sunscreen, it'll help a LOT. Also Aquaphor. They tell you this at the appointment. Aim for at least 64 fl ozs of gatorade each of the three days before your appointment) Overall, this has been one of the most positive experiences I've ever HAD with a business. I'm glad my surgeon recommended them.

Stay away! And if…read moreyou are THINKING of getting a gift certificate for someone here, reconsider. I received one and have had nothing but issues trying to redeem it. I wanted to do a spa day with my daughter, but three years later we still haven't been able to. Too many reasons to list them ALL. If I didn't mind throwing away a $300 gift certificate I wouldn't step foot through their doors.

Diva for a day (a non profit organization gifting cancer patients with a spa day) gifted me a spa…read moreday, and I got to pick ANY spa I wanted to go to in the state of Oregon, and I chose Gervais, based on reviews, even though I've never been! The spa is supposed to make the cancer patient feel like a complete diva, and make it a very personal experience, and I did not experience any of that at the salon, as a matter of fact, it was quite the opposite! Almost every other salon I have seen cancer patients go to all throughout the United States, have made this experience wonderful for other cancer patients, and have even gifted them a bouquet of roses. I did not get greeted personally and nobody had any idea why I was even there! Not the massage therapist (who was extremely kind and wonderful by the way, and the massage was decent), not the aesthetician for the facial or even the nail tech (who is completely unexperienced, and it was probably my worst pedicure ever)! The facial aesthetician actually tried to upsell me, until she found out all of my services were prepaid for, and then she literally stopped talking and took me back to her room and started her facial process, which was extremely odd, especially considering the fact that she constantly kept checking her phone and then touching my face, very unsanitary, and she was extremely loud opening and closing cabinets, and it was very non-relaxing! Kesha should not be allowed to even touch her phone while she's giving a facial! I am very bummed. I decided to pick this salon over other ones I was considering. I feel extremely ripped off, and do not feel like I was taking care of properly or even acknowledged for the reason I was there, or the experience! I do not, and will never recommend this salon for anyone! They clearly do not care about their clients or organization sending clients their way for special days!
